It was the weekend and Haesoo has nothing to do other than lay on the bed while listening to a podcast in her room. She opened the curtains,  shut her eyes tightly while writing something on the diary. Haesoo smiled when the neighbors saw her and continue doing her work silently until a notification popped on her phone. She grabbed her phone and raised her eyebrows when Sunghoon sent a voice text in their classroom group chat. She excitedly listened to his voice text and couldn't hold herself from smiling like an idiot when Sunghoon chuckled.

"If you have nothing to do this weekend, you can come to the ice skating rink to see me training. Feel free to let me teach you! I will be so happy if any of you come."

"Let me treat you to dinner tonight. Don't forget to come!"

Haesoo immediately closed her diary and went to the closet, find any proper dress to wear before meeting Sunghoon at the ice rink.
As she has done, she dressed up and applied simple makeup.

~~

"Park Jisung! Bang Yedam! Did you come for food?" Sunghoon took off his shoes and approached Yedam and Jisung who were amazed at seeing other skaters in the rink.

Jisung laughed at Sunghoon,
"We came because of food."

Yedam added, "Are we going to have tteobokki, spicy fried chicken, and coke?"

"Do you want that?" Sunghoon crossed his arm and chuckled when they nodded excitedly.

"Hyuri!" Yedam called Hyuri who has just come. Hyuri smiled and approached them happily.
She then stood next to Sunghoon and glared,

"Why didn't you tell me the truth?"

Sunghoon raised his eyebrows in confusion,
"Tell you what?"

"You sent the voice text in the group chat and tell everyone to come to your show."

"Just tell me that you want me to watch you."

"You're just too shy to admit it. So, you used that kind of trick--"

"Hyuri, less your confident please."

Yedam and Jisung laughed.

~~

Haesoo stepped into the hall shyly and fixed her eyes on Sunghoon who was skating on the rink with his friends, Yedam and Jisung. She fixed her eyes on him from far, couldn't stop adoring him in silence as he was so cool.

Sunghoon laughed and quickly helped Yedam who suddenly fell on the rink after he couldn't balance himself. Jisung then dragged Yedam away, letting Sunghoon teach Hyuri who almost slipped as soon as she took a step on the rink.

Haesoo was just looking at them, controlling her jealously over her friend because she knew that she wasn't allowed to feel that way when the guy she has a crush on doesn't feel the same way as her. Haesoo has nothing to do other than watch them silently and be happy for them.

Hyuri looks so good for Sunghoon.
and Sunghoon looks so good for Hyuri.
They deserve each other so much which made Haesoo already prepare herself before they announce they are dating for real. So, she wouldn't get hurt and get to move on peacefully.

Sunghoon held Hyuri's hand tightly, helping her to balance herself.

"It's okay. You can do it."

Hyuri groaned, "Don't let go of me, dumbass."

Sunghoon laughed, "Of course. I will hold you and make sure you're safe."

Haesoo tucked her lips and stood at the same place as she was hesitated to approach them who were having fun with each other.

"Sunghoon, what the hell!" Hyuri screamed and called for Sunghoon to help her but the guy was just ignoring her and laughing when she accidentally bumped into Yedam causing both of them to fall together.

Jisung lend them help meanwhile Sunghoon watched them from far. He smiled, lifted his head to the ceiling, and brushed his hair gently before looking around the place to see if his classmates come.

His gaze suddenly caught Haesoo who was at the audience seat. Haesoo fixed her eyes on him and shifted her gaze away. She quickly stood up from the seat and took a step to the exit as she wanted to leave the place.

Sunghoon stepped out from the rink and took off his shoes before running toward Haesoo.

"Hey." He spoke up.

Haesoo stood in the hallway, slowly turning her body to face him.

"Are you coming to see me?"

Haesoo hesitated to reply. So she just shook her head as a reply.

"I was just passing by..." She finally spoke up.

"Are you already wanting to leave?"

She nodded. "I think I need to go."

"Do you want to spend your time with me?"

Haesoo lowered her head when he approached her closer.

She shook her head. "Your friend must be waiting for you. I will go first."

"Do you want to have dinner with us?"

Sunghoon kept on asking.

"Let's go." He reached his hand to hold hers.

"Park Sunghoon, I think Hyuri accidentally broke her arm!" Jisung came toward Sunghoon anxiously. Sunghoon widened his eyes in surprise. He quickly ran to the rink to help Hyuri meanwhile Haesoo followed him from behind.

"Lee Hyuri, are you alright?"

Hyuri cried in hurt.

Sunghoon anxiously looked at the girl,
"You broke your arm..."

"How did this happen?"

Yedam replied, "She slipped after she was speeding her steps."

Hyuri cried in sobbing and pouted her lips when she saw Haesoo.

"It's okay, Hyuri. Let's go to the hospital." Sunghoon comforted the girl.

Sunghoon sighed and carried the girl right in front of Haesoo.

"Can you move away?" Sunghoon asked Haesoo softly and smiled when Haesoo moved away from him. Hyuri held her sobs, just wanting to go to the hospital and get treatment.

Haesoo watched Sunghoon was leaving with
Hyuri.

~~

"Wait here. I will go with Hyuri." Sunghoon said and their friends nodded including Haesoo.

She peeks inside the room and bit her lower lips when Sunghoon approached Hyuri anxiously like she was his girlfriend. Everyone in school knew that Sunghoon and Hyuri were childhood friends. They were so close with each other like a sibling and they treated each other like a couple. Haesoo lowered her head when Sunghoon caught her. She sighed and left Yedam and Jisung behind as she wanted to have a walk around the hospital park while waiting for the treatment to be done.

At the same time, Sunghoon walked out of the room and searched for Haesoo.

"Where is the girl?"

~~

Haesoo sat on the bench with her gaze glued at the sky silently. She pouted her lips and sighed when the moment when Sunghoon carried Hyuri in front of her crossed her mind again. Haesoo didn't want to feel this way. She felt so bad for feeling this way over her friend who got hurt but she just couldn't hold herself from being this way because it hurts her. Haesoo shook her head to put the negative thought away and watched some people who were having fun at the park with their family and loved ones.

She stood up from her seat and walked around the park. Her steps stopped when she caught a familiar guy was sitting on the grass with a group of kids gathered around him.

"Jay...?"

Jay didn't notice that she was there as he was too busy reading a fairytale book to the group of kids who were wearing the hospital uniform.

He continue reading and groaning when the kids started to laugh over his silly jokes.

Jay held his stomach and laid on the grass when the kids approached him and tickled him causing him to laugh loudly.

"Ouch stop! it's tickling me!" He laughed more and pulled a kid on his embrace before tickling the kid causing them to laugh.

Haesoo couldn't help but chuckle to see them.
She took out her phone, recorded the whole thing because it was so adorable.

Jay laid on the grass while gasping for breathing and hugging the kids as it was time for them to back to their room. The group of kids bid him goodbye and left the place with their nurses.

Haesoo stopped recording and watched the video while chuckling.

Jay widened his eyes as he recognized the voice. He quickly stood up and caught Haesoo who was standing not so far away from him.

He cleared his throat, wore a plain face, and approached Haesoo before grabbing her phone causing her to look at him surprisingly.

"Did you record me?" Jay asked her and tried to unlock the password. Haesoo gasped and reached her hand to take her phone from him but she failed when Jay stood on his tiptoes, reaching his hand to the sky, so she couldn't take the phone from him.

"It's so adorable. That's why--"

Jay glared at the girl, "You will post the video on the group chat!"

Haesoo quickly shook her head.

"I will keep this phone forever until you tell me the password."

Haesoo refused to tell him and gasped when the guy kept the phone in his pocket. Jay grabbed his things and went into the building followed by Haesoo from behind.

"Jay, believe me--"

"Shut up."

"Jay, I will delete the video."

"I will delete it by myself."

Haesoo held his jacket, telling him to return the phone. Jay was just shaking his head and walking through the hallway. Haesoo groaned and followed him from behind without realizing that she was just walking past Sunghoon. He fixed his eyes on them and took a step to take the girl with him but his step stopped when Hyuri suddenly called for him.

Haesoo stood next to Jay's bike, still waiting for him to lend the phone to her. Jay was just pouting his lips while judging her phone with a disgusting look.

"Are you living in world war 2?" He asked but she didn't respond.

"Jay, I want to go home."

"Then, go home." He replied without looking at her.

"I want my phone back."

He got on his bike and wore his helmet before starting the engine.

Haesoo gasped.

"Jay, this is not funny."

"It's not funny. I didn't even make a joke." He replied calmly.

"Jay." She mumbled and held his jacket again when he was about to ride his bike.

"Why did you record me?"

Haesoo sighed, "It's because you look so adorable with kids. I like watching that."

Jay glared at the girl, "Do you like me?"

"Jay, this is not--"

"I think I like you."
