Lloyd realized that he had to get his blessing from King Solar so he grabbed out a paper he wrote to get blessings from the king.

Step 1. Don't make a huge embarrassment to the King.
Step 2. Always take politely to the King.
Step 3. Be calm and have a conversation to the King.

Lloyd want to invite Iris to the King but realized that will be stupid because both might a unlucky conversation. "Hey, Lloyd, any plans for today?" Iris said. "Hey, Iris, I'm planning to go to the Sun Kingdom to talk to your dad" Lloyd said. "That's cool, do you want me to come with you?" Iris said. "Um, no, Iris, I'm going to be brave enough to talk to your dad" Lloyd said. "Are you sure, Lloyd, my dad's been busy with a lot of stuff, I'm not sure if he can spare time to talk to you" Iris said. I'm the green ninja, the coolest boyfriend in the world, I can handle a king on my own without Iris, it will be easy as Zane's cooking to get King Solar's blessing Lloyd thought and he smiled. "Iris, don't worry much, your father loves me being your boyfriend" Lloyd said. "Lloyd, hate to say this but my father hates you dating me because you are not royalty" Iris said and Lloyd falled. "Oh, c'mon, I'm the green ninja, I'm the leader of the team, and I'm powerful to defeat any villian" Lloyd complained. "Lloyd, I know you are all that, but my father won't accept you being my boyfriend unless you convince him" Iris said. "Convincing a king is easy, Iris, don't worry about your dad and me, I'm going to be fine" Lloyd said. "I hope so, Lloyd" Iris said as she leave Lloyd's room.

Lloyd take out a small box and sighed. "I really hope that King Solar accepts me of being her boyfriend if only he can also accepts his blessing of me marrying his daughter" Lloyd said and Kai walked in with Cole. "Hey, Lloyd, what's wrong with you?" Cole said. "Yesterday, Zane got his blessing from Cyrus to marry Pix, and today, I'm doing my part of asking King Solar to marry Iris, and after what Iris told me, I'm not sure if King Solar's going to give me his blessing" Lloyd said. "Lloyd, King Solar's going to give you his blessing, you just need to calm down first, so when you had a conversation with King Solar, it won't be that bad" Kai said. "I guess so, Kai, plus I know one person that can come with me" Lloyd said. "Who?" Cole said. "Dareth" Lloyd said and Cole and Kai sighed. "That's cool Dareth's coming with you but why is he coming with you?" Cole said. "To help me talk to King Solar, he's just acting himself when King Solar and I start our conversation" Lloyd said and Kai and Cole smiled. "You are going to do well to get King Solar's blessing" Kai said. "Thanks, Kai, you too, plus Sky's mom is Scarlett" Lloyd said. "How do you know that?" Kai said. "My mom knows her during her childhood years, Scarlett's pretty nice" Lloyd said and Kai fall on the ground. "I'm going to ask Sel's dad for his blessing for me to marry her" Cole said. "That's cool, Cole, wish you luck" Lloyd said. "Thanks, Lloyd, you too" Cole said and he and Kai walked away.

Dareth and Lloyd went to the Sun Kingdom by using travelers tea. "Lloyd, I can't wait for you and the Ninja's wedding" Dareth said. "Thanks, Dareth, you will be the ninja photographer for the weddings" Lloyd said and Dareth start to cry. "Thanks, Green Ninja! I always want to be a photographer for weddings and here I am actually going to be one for the ninja's weddings" Dareth said and Lloyd give him a tissue. "It's okay, Dareth, let's go to the Sun Palace, that's where the King's at" Lloyd said and Dareth nodded and they walked straight to the Sun Palace.

King Solar was in his royal chair and many people were asking him a lot of questions. "Kim, Jim, you both had to share the field of Sun Kingdom" Solar said to two farmers and they nodded and they walked away. Everyone start to stopped talking when Lloyd and Dareth walked in. "It's the Green Ninja and his sidekick" One of the people said and Solar didn't smiled at Lloyd but to Dareth. "Hey, um, your highness, can I talk to you alone with my friend, Dareth?" Lloyd said trying to not act stupid. "Of course, plus I need a 10 minute break before I can handle more villagers" Solar said and he got up. "Can you please leave this palace for about 10 minutes, I'm having a break?" Solar said to his people. The guards lead the people out of the palace and closed the doors.

Solar looked at Lloyd and sighed. "Let's go to the dining room to talk, the cook is serving rice cakes" Solar said and he lead Lloyd and Dareth to the dining room. "Wow, this room's nice with the royal gold designs" Lloyd said. "Thanks, Lloyd, now sit down so we can talk while our servers can give us rice cakes" Solar said and Lloyd and Dareth sit down.

"I have a lot of questions I want to tell you, Lloyd, before you ask me yours" Solar said and Lloyd gulped. "My first question is why you like my daughter if you are not a prince?" Solar said. "I like your daughter for being the prettiest princess in the world with her smile shining like a sun, her attitude's always positive and sometimes negative. I don't had to be to a prince to love your daughter, I can be myself to love your daughter" Lloyd answered and Solar give Lloyd a glare. "Another question, are you worthy for Iris?" Solar said. "Of course, Solar, I'm worthy for Iris by being her green ninja in armor" Lloyd said and Dareth nod agreeing of what Lloyd's saying. "Is it true, Dareth?" Solar said. "Of course, Lloyd's the leader of the team and he always protects Iris sometimes by villians" Dareth said making Lloyd smiled. "Last question, Is my daughter happy with you?" Solar said. "Yes, Solar, she's happy with me. Everyday, even though we haven't seen each other a lot, she always smile at me and usually we talk everyday about life, but whenever one of the others are sad, Iris always cheers them up with a party or a celebration. She's like the sunshine in the team, and I'm really happy to be her boyfriend" Lloyd said and Solar was shocked and Lloyd take out a small box and opened it to show to the King.

"My question to you is that can I have your blessing for me to marry your daughter with your permission?" Lloyd said. Solar was shocked and he looked at his divorced wife's picture: Eclipse. "Lloyd, you have gotten my permission to marry my daughter, after what I hear, I'm amazed of you being the best boyfriend to her, I'm hoping you marrying her will be the best thing ever to her life" Solar said and he shake Lloyd's hand. "Thanks, Solar, talking to you not so bad after all" Lloyd said and they both hear sniffling noises. "Dareth? Why are you crying?" Lloyd said. "It's just that moment's beautiful! I'm just so proud of you and the ninja getting marry with your girlfriends!" Dareth said and he sobbed.

"10 minutes is up, I had to go and deal with my people" Solar said. "What are you going to do after dealing with them?" Lloyd said. "I'm doing something for you and my daughter but I can't tell you what is it" Solar added. "I bet it's something amazing, Solar" Lloyd said and Solar smiled. "You'll see, Lloyd" Solar said and Dareth and Lloyd walked out of the palace.

"What would Iris said when you ask her to marry you?" Dareth said. "I don't know, Dareth, it's something that we had to deal with later plus I had to tell the guys the good news first" Lloyd said and he poured the last bit of travelers tea and they both jumped into it.

Dareth went back to his dojo while Lloyd went back to the monastery. "Hey guys, good news, I got Solar's blessing for me to marry Iris" Lloyd said and Zane smiled. "See, Lloyd, it's easy to get someone's blessing" Zane said and he looked at Cole, Kai, and Jay. "Looks like 3 of you had to get your girlfriend's parents' blessing" Zane said. "Zane, we know, but what I heard earlier, was that Cole's the next one to get Seliel's dad's blessing for him to marry Sel" Kai said and Cole sighed. "Kai, you are a coward, I know how to handle Sel's dad, you on the other side don't know handle Sky's mom" Cole said and Kai falled. "Shut up, Cole, I'm going to Misako to see if she can give me more information about Scarlett" Kai said. "Cole, Sel's dad loves music and I got a way for him to get his blessing" Jay said and Cole remember what Jay's trying to say. "Sel's capella group, Jay?" Cole said. "Yep, now I know who's to be singing besides me, Zane, and Pix" Jay said. "Why is Kai not included?" Cole said. "He's getting info about Sky's mom, so I guess you're filling in his place" Jay said and Cole sighed. "That's cool, Jay, I bet this plan will convince Sel's dad" Cole said. "It will, Cole, but Sel's father isn't going to be the only guest to hear us sing" Jay said. "Who's going to be our guest, Jay?" Cole said. "Everyone in Ninjago's our guest to hear us sing but they'll only think they're here to see us sing but for you to convince Sel's dad to give him his blessing for you to marry Sel" Jay said and Cole and the guys cheered of Jay's plan.
