Alex and Max were sitting on a bench in Ninjago Park eating ice cream.  The two of them had been doing charity work all day.  They were both doing much better since everything that happened with Emma, but they were still taking a break from the team.  Their relationship was also back to how it was before Emma happened.

"Do you want to go see a movie tomorrow?" Max asked.  "We don't have any plans, right?"

"Sure," Alex said.  "Why not?"  They silently continued eating their ice cream for a few minutes before Alex spoke up again.  "You know, it's actually been pretty boring in the monastery since Justin isn't there."

"Well, it sounded like the mission was very important."

"I know, but I'm still worried."

"Yeah, but I'm sure him and Rosie are doing just fine."

 "You're probably right.  I just hope they make it back in time for graduation."

Max grabbed Alex's free hand.  "I'm sure they will."

Some Unknown Island

Justin and Rosie were running through a forest and wondering how a stealth mission could go so wrong that they were now being hunted.  Oh wait.  Someone found them and before they took him out, he managed to alert everyone who is now chasing them.

"Where's your mech?!" Justin asked as they were running.

"Still five minutes out!" Rosie said.  They agreed to leave her mech behind due to it being a stealth mission, but available to summon if needed.

"Great!  Just great!" Justin said sarcastically.

They kept running, but soon had to stop when they came up to a cliff.  "This is not good," Rosie said.

They turned around as their enemies were closing in.  "Get behind me," Justin told Rosie.

"You do not need to protect me all the time," Rosie told her boyfriend.  "I can handle myself."

"Is it wrong for me to care about you?"

"But you do not need to treat me like some damsel in distress!"

Their enemies popped out from behind the trees and started to surround them.  "Can we talk about this later?!"  Justin started using his lightning powers on them.

Rosie looked behind her as she heard her mech arriving.  "Perfect."

There was still one guy hiding behind a tree watching the fight and noticed Rosie.  "One of those so called 'nindroids.'  Very interesting."

Rosie hopped into her mech and started to help Justin.  They fought for a while until Rosie heard one of the bad guys start talking to her.  "You might want to stop," he said and pointed to Justin who was being held by a couple of other bad guys.  He was struggling, but couldn't break free.  He was obviously exhausted from the battle.  "Unless you want him to die."

Rosie froze.  She couldn't let them kill him.  She hopped out of the mech and held her hands up.  "I surrender.  Just please, do not hurt him."  They grabbed Rosie.

"Take our prisoners away!"

Justin and Rosie looked at each other before they were both dragged away.

Samurai X Cave

Juliet walked in and saw her boyfriend watching the monitors.  Mason was left in charge of the team while Justin was on his mission with Rosie.  "You've been down here for a while," Juliet said which startled Mason.  Juliet giggled.  "Sorry.  I didn't mean to scare you."

"I wasn't scared!" Mason said defensively.  "Just startled."

"Well, you looked very deep in thought.  Is everything ok?"

"Justin and Rosie didn't check in.  They were supposed to check in with me an hour ago."

"Maybe something happened and they're late," Juliet said, but had a gut feeling that something was wrong.

"Maybe, but I think we need to check it out.  I have a lock on their last known location.  I'll start up the Bounty.  You get the rest of the team."

"I'm on it."  Juliet left and went back to the monastery to get the three youngest members.

The Monastery

The three youngest ninja were hanging out in the training yard.  Zeke was on the phone with his girlfriend, Kyara.  Harper was constantly rolling her eyes whenever she heard Zeke sounding cutesy with Kyara.  Felix was just watching the two.  He was worried about his sister because he knows that the mission she went on with her boyfriend was dangerous.

Juliet barged in.  "Come on, guys.  Mason is starting up the Bounty.  We gotta go."

"What's going on?" Harper asked.

Juliet sighed.  "Justin and Rosie missed a check in.  We're going to go to their last known location."

The three youngest ninja nodded and followed Juliet out of the monastery and to where the Bounty was.

The parents were all sitting in the living room of the monastery.  All of their kids were all busy doing other things, so they were just having a relaxing day.  They were watching TV when they heard someone knocking on the door.  They were a little confused because they weren't expecting anyone.  Lloyd sighed.  "I'll get it."  He walked over to the door and opened it.  He froze immediately when he saw who was on the other side.

Britney noticed and started walking over to her husband.  "Honey, who's at the-"  She cut herself off when she saw who was standing at the door.  "No.  No, no, no, no, no!"

Standing at the door was Britney's parents who she hadn't seen in over 11 years and she was hoping she never would see them again.  "Surprised to see us?" Mrs. Ly asked.

Some Unknown Island

Juliet, Mason, Zeke, Harper, and Felix went to the last known location they had of Justin and Rosie which was at the edge of a cliff.  They looked around, but wasn't finding any sign of them.

"Where could they be?" Harper asked.

"Not sure," Mason said.  "This is definitely where they were."

Something caught Juliet's eye and she walked over to pick it up.  "This is a recording device that Rosie made," Juliet said.  "She was showing it to me after she finished it."

"Play it," Zeke said.

Felix walked over to Juliet and took the recording device from her and turned it on.  They heard what was going on in the fight up until they got captured.

"They've been captured!" Zeke exclaimed.

"At least we know they're still alive," Juliet said.  "We should head to where they were watching these guys."

"No, we shouldn't," Mason said and everyone looked at him confused.  "That's not where they're going to be held.  They told me that this island is not the main headquarters."

"Do you know where the main headquarters is?" Felix asked.

"I have no clue.  They told me that they were going to try to find that out and report it to me today, but they never checked in."  Mason sighed.  He didn't like it in the first place when he was left in charge of the team and now the person who left him in charge was missing.  "We should go back to the Samurai X Cave and look through the data they sent."

The others nodded and followed Mason back to the Bounty.
