On this day, 129 years ago, on November 6th 1893, the most famous Russian Composer, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky died in his Brother's apartment after an illness lasting for four days at the age of 53.

Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky was born on May 7th 1840 in Votkinsk, Russia and went on to become one of the greatest Classical Composers of all time. He Composed many famous Ballets such as Romeo And Juliet, The 1812 Overture, and The Nutcracker.

Unfortunately, Tchaikovsky passed away on November 6th 1893 in St. Petersburg, Russia at the age of 53 after an illness he was suffering from for four days. It was a very sad loss to the world and his funeral was one of the biggest funerals of St. Petersburg during the 19th century and his cause of death was said to be Cholera from consuming uncoiled water a few days before his death.

However, the interesting thing is that Tchaikovsky dying from Cholera consuming uncoiled water is only a THEORY as to how he died! The real cause of Tchaikovsky's death is unknown.

Another theory of how Tchaikovsky died is a suicide Story. Tchaikovsky was a homosexual man which was not accepted during the 19th century. Tchaikovsky tried to keep his homosexuality a secret his whole life, in 1893, most people were able to figure out that Tchaikovsky was homosexual and he was captured by a group of homophobic people and he was forced to poison himself. People claim that Tchaikovsky's body couldn't have been displayed in an open casket if he died of Cholera.

But no matter what, we have recovered Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky thanks to our love for him. He was one of the greatest Classical Composers of all time and he will live on forever and ever!

But to this day, 129 years later, the cause of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's death remains a mystery...
