I hesitantly dialed his number, but didn't hit call... yet. Tears streamed down my face as I glanced back to the note again. "I loved you, but you loved her!" I cried out. "I can't believe you were with her at the same time!"

"Mari, are you ok?" My small kwami asked. I shot her an evil glare.

"Of course not!" I snapped. The small kwami frowned and slowly floated away. "Wait, Tikki!" I yelled.

"Yes?" She asked as she turned around.

"I'm sorry, it's just I'm really upset because I really liked him, and he clearly doesn't like me much, and I still have to work with him everyday as Ladybug and Chat Noir, and I have to pretend like we're still together for the fans!" I cried out. Tears streamed down my face again.

"I really, really liked him! He had those perfect green eyes! I feel like, like, oh I don't know, his eyes are just so perfect they make me feel so much better when I'm feeling down! And, and now I'm rambling on about how perfect the guy I'm supposed to hate is!" I exclaimed.

"Hit call" Tikki said. "Talk to him, please!" She urged me.

"Fine" I said as I hesitantly hit call.

"Hello, Marinette?" A girls voice asked. Her voice was filled with sadness.

"Yes, and this is?" I asked with confusion present in my voice.

"It's Rachel, Justin's mom" she said. I heard a light sob coming from the other end. "Is there something you want?" She asked.

"Can I please talk to Justin?" I asked. Once again, the women was crying, but a lot harder this time.

"I-I'm sorry, h-he can't t-talk r-right now" the women managed to utter in between her crying. I was filled with rage as I tapped my foot impatiently. He cheated on me, and now he can't give me one second to talk?

"Why not?" I yelled angrily. I heard silence on the other end for a while. "Hello?" I asked.

"He's dead Mari, Justin died in a car crash today" His mom said.

Dead.

He's dead.

I dropped the phone and fell over on my bed. My mind clouded over with thousands of thoughts.

"Mari?" Tikki said as she floated over to me. "What's wrong?" She asked with confusion.

"Tikki," I said, as I removed my tear stained face from my pillow "he's dead" I mumbled.

"Oh Mari! I'm so sorry!" Tikki cried out.

"For what?" I asked. "I hate him! I hate him, I hate him, I, I don't hate him Tikki, he's perfect!"

"But he cheated on you" Tikki said.

"And now he's dead, he's gone, so it doesn't matter" I said before burying my face in my pillow again. "I'm going to sleep" I muttered through the pillow.

"Um, I have to tell you something" Tikki said shyly.

"What?" I moaned, lifting my head from my pillow once again.

"You know Plagg, Chats kwami, is gonna be finding a new Chat Noir" she said.

"Great" I muttered sarcastically. I stuffed my face in my pillow for the last time and fell asleep with him on my mind.
