Sarafina like Lucifer is a fallen angel, she was an angel like Lucifer, raised by her older sister Parisa. During her time as an angel, she adopted Luke while Simeon was raising him, so he was often seen around her more than Simeon before she was turned into a demon. After the war, Sarafina was excused because of Luke, the angel she adopted saying Lucifer must've brainwashed her or manipulated her into it because he had romantic interest in the angel woman. As time went on, Sarafina was picked on by the other some of the other angels, but some showed her pity causing her to start a murder plan.

At the start she forced Luke to hate her, saying mean things and scaring her son away, since he'd be suspected as being part of the act. Her murder act failed, and she lost two of her wings. Lucifer found her hiding behind a half broken building wall while he was out with Mammon who was trying to get him into a relationship with a female demon, and recognized the woman immediately because of the way her eyes still sparkled when she was feeling an emotion she hides behind a nervous expression. Mammon recognized Sarafina next, thanks to her calling him Mamm, which only she did.

Despite being away for a long time, Lucifer Still felt attraction to Sarafina but even more now since she was back with him after years. The night he found her, he found himself and Sarafina in his bed going at it till midnight. In the morning he questions the now demon woman about why she was down here getting the full story out of her after he uses his wing to bring her closer. Lucifer went into soft boyfriend mode, and used magic to get her dressed before taking her to the human world for a fun day out. Remembering the woman liked sea creatures, he took her to an aquarium where she asked if turtles and demons were the same since turtles lived long lives, in which she gets a soft yet sarcastic reply from him and he gets her a turtle plush.

Since then, Sarafina has been with Lucifer and his brothers, even during the exchange program where she meets Elu and the girls twin sister, Nadia' along with their cousin, Nessie, which makes her laugh at how nervous Lucifer was about the three humans being together. She even states in the second lesson privately to the three girls that Lucifer said he wanted a child one day so she might end up carrying a little demon inside of her soon. Out of all the demons she's the one who make the three girls more comfortable. In some of the lessons, Sarafina is shown keeping Lucifer under control but now in the recent lessons both her becoming more hostile towards each other.
