Smackdown was over as everyone was leaving the arena and heading back to the hotel to rest up. Alex Ambrose was walking around backstage as he was fixing his jacket and continued walking.

He was leaving the arena as he was fixing his hair and thinking about his match against Sheamus at Summerslam, Alex will do whatever it takes to retain the championship. He continued walking until he heard someone calling his name as Ambrose turned around and saw who it was.

It was Colby Lopez or better known by his ring name, Seth Rollins.

It was Joseph Anoaʻi or better known by his ring name, Roman Reigns.

The trio are friends with each other and are like family. Alex had a smile on his face as they were speaking to him.

Colby: Here he is! Your WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Alex Ambrose!

Joseph had a smile on his face as the trio shared a group hug as Joseph said something to Alex.

Joseph: Congratulations kid, You deserve it.

Alex: Thanks Joseph.

Colby: And we can't wait to see your open challenges. I know it's gonna be awesome.

Joseph: Damn right and we know every match is gonna be spectacular.

Alex smiled at them as they continued talking to each other until the trio got inside the car and began driving towards the restaurant while talking to each other.

Colby: Of course I'm the driver.

Alex: I'm the lookout and Joseph is the dozer. Always sleeping in the back.

Joseph: [Laughs] What?

Colby: We're just saying because you need some sleep.

The trio were laughing as they made it to a restaurant and exited the car. The trio entered the restaurant and sat down and began ordering some food.

Ten minutes have passed and the food arrived as the trio began eating while talking to each other.

Joseph: How is Jon and Renee?

Alex: They're doing alright and everything is going well for them.

Colby: That's good to hear.

Alex: How is everything going for you two?

Joseph: Its going well.

Colby: Same here. Everything is going well.

Alex: That's good to hear. So what's next for you two?

Joseph: Since I'm holding the universal championship only. I'm drafted to RAW and I'm set to defend my championship against Drew Mcintyre at Summerslam.

Colby: For me, I'm going after the Intercontinental Championship. At Summerslam, I'll defeat Johnny Gargano to become the new intercontinental champion.

Alex: That's cool.

Joseph: So, Confident about your match against Sheamus at Summerslam?

Alex: I'm confident.

Colby: Careful now. I will be coming after that championship.

Joseph: I'm also coming after that championship too.

Alex: It would be cool to have a triple threat match.

Joseph: Oh I agree on that. That would be chaotic and awesome.

Colby: I agree on that bro.

They continued talking while eating steak until they were done as they said something to Alex.

Joseph: So Alex, Are you dating anyone?

Alex: No. I'm right now focusing on my career.

Colby: You should try looking for someone.

Joseph: Colby's right. You should really find someone.

Alex was silent as he was thinking about it. Soon they paid the bill and left the restaurant and got inside the car. Colby began driving towards the hotel and made it. They exited the vehicle and began making their way towards their rooms.

July 15 2022

Smackdown was happening as the crowd was excited to see what action awaits them. The show went on as Liv retained her championship against Cassie Lee as the main event was happening. The main event was Alex Ambrose defending the championship against Happy Corbin.

Ten minutes into the match. Corbin tried to hit a big boot on Alex but he managed to dodge the attack and hit a surprise attack on Corbin.

Corbin was holding his head as he glared at Alex and charged towards him but Ambrose hit a back body drop on him.

Corbin rolled out of the ring as the crowd was booing him. Alex was climbing on the top rope and waited for Corbin to get up until Ambrose hit a elbow drop on him.

Both men were on the ground as Alex managed to get up and picked Corbin up and threw him back in the ring. Alex got in the ring until Corbin hit a deep six on the anarchist.

Corbin immediately pinned Alex but he kicked out two as he was shocked and began arguing with the referee.

Six minutes later

Corbin was waiting for Alex to get up as he was gonna hit a lariat on him but Ambrose countered the attack.

Alex was holding his back as he began climbing on the top rope but Corbin grabbed Alex by the throat and hit a chokeslam backbreaker on the anarchist.

Corbin picked Alex and was gonna hit a end of days on him but Alex managed to hit a knee strike on Corbin. Baron glared at him and tried to hit a clothesline on the anarchist but Alex countered the attack into a rainstorm.

Alex pinned Corbin and got the three count as he retained the championship. He got up and grabbed his championship and raised it in the air as the crowd was cheering for him.

Alex made it backstage as he removed the tape from his hands and continued walking until he heard someone calling his name as he turned around and saw who it was.

Liv: Hey Alex!

Alex: Hey there.

Liv: That was an awesome match there.

Alex: Thanks. Your match was awesome too.

Liv: Thanks. So excited about Summerslam?

Alex: Yeah, I'm excited.

Liv smiled at him as Alex was looking at her until she said something to him.

Liv: So are you free right now?

Alex: Yeah I'm free. What's the matter?

Liv: Wanna hangout at the cafe?

Alex: Sure.

Liv: Awesome! See you at the cafe, Alex.

She gave a smile to him as Alex was looking at her until She walked away while Alex continued staring at her.
