Hey guys-

Sorry for FUCKING DRAGGING. I wanted to take a couple days off. I've been interacting with a lot of people on Tik Tok. Anyways, enjoy this wholesome-ish filler. Next chapter will be WAY CUTER AHHHH.

Without further adieu, I present to you...

P O S T U R E

amelie zabini

"You were mumbling in your sleep," Zeno whispered, "Are you alright?"

I fluttered my eyes open to see Zeno leaning on his elbow as he watched me wake up.

The sun shone through his bay windows as it bled through the rich colored drapes. Dust particles floated in the air where the sun radiated its warmth, and the house was still. The room was still.

Though my heart was beating immensely fast.

I looked into his eyes as worrisome grew between us.

"I'm alright," I said lowly, "It happens."

The truth is, I haven't had an intense dream like the one I just had in years. You ever just dream about something, though the moment you wake up, it's forgotten? Just a simple blip in your head. And it's infuriating when you can't point it out - when you can't pin point the dream.

But this time, I remember chunks of the dream. A few swatches of the dream managed to stay.

"What happens? Dreaming like that to the point where you produce incoherent sentences?"

"I've done so since I was a child," I responded as I sat up, though our eye contact remains, "Nothing to worry about."

"If you insist," he mumbles.

I give him a reassuring smile before facing frontwards into his room. With sudden movement, his hand comes in tact with my back as he slowly rubs it. I close my eyes and take in the affection.

"How'd you sleep?" Zeno questions.

"Aside from the dreaming, I slept well. I'm just-. I know I'll be aching," I said through a soft chuckle.

He scoffed as he pulled me closer, in which resulted in him wrapping his broad arms around my figure. My back was pressed against his body as my head was craned into his neck.

"We can always take a break from the.. sex."

I bit my lip as I let the question resonate the room.

"Give me a couple days," I specified, "Can you manage?"

"Of course I can manage, Mel," Zeno's morning voice boomed, "The question is-. Can you?"

I rolled my eyes at his cockiness.

"I can definitely manage," I jeered.

His soft lips kissed my neck gently as he traveled up to my jawline, then to my cheek.

"The whole house will be up soon. Do you want to move to Lola's room?"

"I think that might be a good idea," I respond as I turn to him. Our eyes met as he softened at the sight of me. "You look cute, Zeno." I smile as his cheeks turned a pinkish crimson shade.

"Stop it," he teased through a small smile.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as I pressed my head against his chest. His chest rose and fell at a soft and calming pattern; his strong heart beat resonated in my ears as it sent a comforting feeling around my body.

Being this close to someone who cares about me this way felt so right. It's as if my love for him continuously grows stronger and stronger.

"Did you always have scary dreams like that growing up?" Zeno broke the silence. His voice vibrated through his chest as it sent a few chills.

"It wasn't necessarily a scary dream," I commented, "It was more of an... upsetting dream. Disappointing, if you may."

"Care to tell me all about it?"

I was hesitant, but it's only Zeno. Zeno wouldn't judge me.

"As much as I... dislike my brother right now, I'm just worried for him. I'm really disappointed in him- truly disappointed in him. But Durmstrang Institute? He wouldn't last a week-."

"Actions have consequences, Mel-."

"And you're right. Actions do have consequences, but am I a bad person for being worried about my twin brother? I mean, my parents could put him in boring old muggle school. But instead, they're putting him in Durmstrang."

"It doesn't make you a bad person, Mel," he assured softly as he caressed my cheek, "You're just going to have to-. Going to have to... accept it."

He was right. It was just something I'm going to have to accept. This is something he deserves. Zenith can't hurt a woman like that and just get away with it. Actions have consequences. I hope he takes this as a learning experience. Hopefully he'll be better.

It breaks my heart knowing that the person I love hurt another person I love dearly. I'll always be on a woman's side, but given the circumstances, this whole thing is just difficult to wrap my head around.

I had a dream about Zenith getting severely hurt at Durmstrang. Hurt enough that he'd come back as an entirely new different person. If not better than before, then way worse.

Hopefully he learns and becomes a better person. But a girl can wish.

"I should go," I mumble softly, "See you in a bit?"

"Yes, I'll see you in a bit," he responded groggily.

I get up from the bed with the aches pulsating in my thighs and hips, though I pull through because what else can I do other than face it?

Consequences, remember?

Before leaving his room completely, I quickly turn around and glance over him.

The duvet covering his waist as his v-line protrudes his sculpted figure. He leans on his elbows as he flashes a smile.

"I love you, Amelie," he says.

My face heats up as I smile.

"I love you, too," I said softly.

I left the room and closed the door behind me. Tiptoeing to Lola's room, I hear ruckus coming from Prince's room. Startled by this notion, I speed down the hall towards Lola's door as I swing it open to see all three of the girls asleep in one bed; bunched up like sardines.

Scarlett jolts out of shock as her eyes widen. Realizing that it's me, she softly giggles and yawns.

"Well, good morning Mel," she groans as she stretches, in which wakens Narsa. "Quite a grand entrance, don't you think?"

I laugh quietly while making it towards the edge of the bed. I sit by their feet as Narsa wriggles around in between Lola and Scarlett.

"I apologize for waking you up so early. I know you're not a morning person," I quipped as I laid at the edge of the bed, "Say, do you think Lola has a pair of pajamas I can borrow?"

"I'm sure I do," Lola grumbled into her pillow before flipping over to face up, "Good morning."

"Good morning, Lola," I responded softly, "Sorry for waking you all up so early-."

"No worries, really," Lola assured, "I wake up around this time, anyway."

"Could you all stop talking," Narsa groaned, "I'm still sleeping, aren't I?"

"Well, my apologies Sleeping Beauty," Scarlett snickered as she got up from the bed, "Lola, may I grab a pair of bottoms for Mel?"

"Yeah, go on ahead," Lola said as she pulled the covers over her body completely, "Loose fitted, correct?"

"Yes, please," I added.

Scarlett grabbed me a pair of pajamas as I immediately slipped them on; dark blue striped pajamas. Even though Zeno's shirt covered my bottom, I still needed pants.

"Mel looks really good in baggy clothing," Lola softly chuckled as Scarlett examined me.

"You're absolutely right!" Scarlett cheered, "Definitely a fit. We need more Mel in baggy clothing."

"I'll definitely keep that in mind," I assured as I sat back down by the edge of the bed letting out a sigh. "How was everyone's sleep?"

"I'm still fucking sleeping," Narsa mumbled into the pillow, "So I wouldn't know until after."

Narsa usually isn't always a morning person. In fact, her and Scarlett both aren't. But Scarlett seems to be a bit better right now. Maybe it's because we're all technically home.

Lola, Scarlett, and I decided that we leave Narsa be and head downstairs to the kitchen to make some tea. On the way towards the kitchen, it was surely painful, though bearable. Scarlett teased me and insisted that I need a bloody wheelchair, and Lola fake-gagged after her statement.

Once we reached the kitchen, Lola immediately went to work as Scarlett and I spectated on the kitchen island swivels.

Footsteps receded from the stairs as our attention reverted towards the sound.

Prince in firetruck pajamas. His hair in tangles; him and Zeno have the same hair grain, along with color and hair shape.

"Good morning, everyone!" Prince cheered as he hopped down the stairs, "Is mum awake yet?"

"No, not yet," Lola mumbled as she prepped tea.

"Hmm..." Prince responded as he plopped himself onto the sofa.

The floor plan of the Berkshires' home was open space. The living room and the kitchen, along with sunroom and dining were all open. No walls divided each of the rooms.

As Scarlett and Lola conversed, I couldn't help but think about Zenith. I mean, how would he be in Durmstrang? I get that he did Scarlett very wrong. No one ever deserves to be treated that way.

But I guess it's really hard on me given the fact that he's my twin brother. I could never see myself forgiving him. Or even seeing him in a different light. It's just-. It's really hurtful.

It's hurtful that my own twin brother goes out and does this shit. Pulls this shit. Disrespects one of our own.

Just then, Luna and Lorenzo come waltzing down the stairs. Both in fuzzy Christmas robes and matching ivory slippers.

"Good morning everyone," Luna beamed as she tied her robe while waltzing in the kitchen, "Anyone hungry? How was everyone's rest?"

I just wanted to stay silent and not talk, but not because I didn't like being here. But because it felt wrong even speaking.

"Well and good, I suppose?" Lorenzo queried after nudging Lola aside gesturing that he make the tea instead.

"Like a baby," Lola spoke, "I slept like a baby. I always sleep like a baby when I'm home here in my own bed. Narsa, on the other hand, is still sleeping."

"It's Narsa at home. What do you expect?" Lorenzo chuckled. "Scarlett, my love. Are you alright?"

I glanced over at Scarlett as she bit her lip nervously all while fiddling with her fingers.

"I slept pretty good, actually," she responded softly, "First time in a long time, really."

"Ah, well I'm glad," Luna assured.

While Luna prepared breakfast and such, Lorenzo finished making the tea.

Just then, Zeno descended from the stairs with just his grey sweatpants hanging just below his waist.

"Morning everyone," his morning voice beamed as he walked towards his mum. He placed a kiss on her head, then walked towards Lola to kiss her head as well.

Glancing over at me, he shot a quick wink before walking towards his father for a cup of tea.

"Zeno, what did I tell you about walking around shirtless?" Luna reprimanded lightly.

"No clue," Zeno jeered with a playful smirk.

Luna rolled her eyes as she continued batching up whatever was on the stove.

Prince comes running in the kitchen and attempts to tackle Zeno, but instead Zeno lifts him into the air as he giggles tremendously.

Instant serotonin booster.

Though not enough to rid the thoughts of Zenith at Durmstrang.

"Are you alright?" Scarlett questions quietly as I zone out of my thoughts.

"Hm? Oh-. I'm alright, yes," I frantically respond as I straighten up on the swivel. "Just a little tired, is all."

"Zeno kept you up?" Scarlett teased quietly.

I scoffed as I softly nudged her. Glancing over at Zeno, he's got Prince in his arms while staring directly at me.

Our eyes interlocked as we shared a faint moment. The eye-locking made me feel safe and content. Heart warming, really. Something I can't really put my finger on, but just be aware that it feels... great.

Just then, a knock from the entrance of the house emits as we all turn our heads.

"I'll get it," Zeno ensures as he places Prince down. He struts towards the door as I take a quick glance at his posture.

His back muscles flex at each movement as his tall figure sashays towards the door. Fucking hell-. Xenophilius is a work of art-. A walking work of art.

As Zeno opens the door, I instantly see my mother and Draco standing side by side both in home robes.

"Morning everyone," Draco mumbled as he stepped foot in the house with my mother following, "What's Luna-tic cooking?"

Zeno shut the door behind him as he followed my mother and Draco.

"Will you ever stop calling my mother that?" Zeno sneered.

Draco scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"All jokes, Xenophilius Lorenzo Berkshire. No need to get defensive," Draco snickered as he made his way towards the kitchen.

I laid eyes on my mother as she shot a quick smile. Mum walked towards me and gave me a kiss on the head. Backing away from me, she examined my clothing.

Tugging at the shirt, her face grows with confusion.

"Who's shirt is this?" she bellows. "This Enzo's?"

"Wrong Berkshire," Luna softly chuckled, "That's Zeno's."

"Oh!" My mum exclaimed, "Well, be sure to return it before you all leave to go back to school."

I nodded as she made her way towards Luna. She and Luna exchanged mum kisses on the cheek as my mum observed the stove where she whipped up breakfast.

Zeno takes a right next to me as he leans against the kitchen island with his elbows.

"You alright?" He asks lowly.

I turn towards him as his eyes divert directly into mine. The shining emerald glistening in his scleras that bring such comfort.

"I'm doing fine," I respond quietly as the people around us spark and create conversation among themselves, "You? Are you alright?"

"Always," he responds through a subtle smile before rubbing my arm slightly, "You can always... tell me anything. You know that, right?"

I gave him an assuring smile. "Yes, I do. Thank you, love."

He looks over at the parents, then back at me.

At a quick stance, he grabs my hand and pulls it towards his lips. Zeno places a small kiss before letting go gently, in which sparks explode internally. Sending affection and love all around my body.

Looking back at the adults, Luna is looking directly as us.

Ah, fuck.

"Onny," Luna announces while still looking at us, "Did Amelie ever tell you about her and my son?"

At an instant, my throat tightens. I glance over at Zeno at a quick pace as he closes his eyes and sighs out of disappointment.

My mum looks at the both of us as confusion is plastered across her complexion once more.

"What-. Does that mean?" my mum asks.

"I think they're dating, Onny," Luna says through a smile. I can't tell whether or not I should be... worried? Or scared?

"Mum..." Zeno bellowed.

"Dating? As in-. As in romantically together?" My mum raised her voice a little as she walked towards us. "Is that true?"

I frantically look around as I notice that all eyes are on the both of us- Zeno and I.

"I-."

There was no point in denying it. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? They could either be disappointed and accept it, or be disappointed and not accept it.

"Yes-. We're-. Dating." I state through chopped sentences.

My mum gives me a stern look as she nods slowly.

"Right..." she says undetermined. "Well-. Luna-. How do you feel about it?"

My mum turns to Luna as she looks back at her.

I look over at Zeno as he's nervous as well. The both of us pay close attention to our mothers eager for some sort of acceptance.

"I just hope for the best," Luna cheered through a smile, "You should, too."

My mum glanced back at me as she rolled her tongue against the inside of her cheek.

"Well-. Alright..." My mum mumbled as she crossed her arms, "I'm all for it, I guess. I just-. I wonder what your father will say about all thi-."

"You and I both know Blaise can't stop two teens from shagging-." Draco blurted with a mouth full of bread.

Scarlett and I groaned as my mum walked towards Draco to smack him in the back of his head.

"Bold of you to assume that my daughter is having sex!" My mum raised her voice. Draco winced as he rubbed the back of his head out of pain. Lorenzo couldn't keep his laughter in, as well as Luna.

"Can we not talk about that stuff?" I said through embarrassment.

"Please-. Let's not-." Zeno added.

"This is getting really weird-." Scarlett blurted.

"And Prince doesn't even know what shagging is!" Lola chimed.

"Shagging! Shagging! Shagging!" Prince repeated over and over as Draco started chuckling a bit more.

"Fucking hell," I muttered under my breath.

"Hey! Enough of that, you!" Lorenzo retorted as he chased Prince around the house.

I looked at Zeno as he couldn't help but make a grimacing face even throughout the awkward tension in the room.

"Breakfast is almost ready, anyways," Luna alerted. "Zeno, Mel. I wish nothing but the best for the both of you. Please make good choices alright?"

"Please! Oh please make good choices. That means being safe a-and taking preca-."

"Mum! Please!" I badgered.

"Your mum has a point," Draco butted in.

Zeno groaned as he folded his arms onto the table and placed his head against it.

"Please can we just not talk about this," Zeno mumbled into his arms.

"Well, my son, it has to be discussed as a family because-. Because, well, we're all family here and if you're going to date one of my closest friend's daughter we clearly have to talk-." Lorenzo spoke.

"Can we not talk about personal stuff, though? I mean-. Could you all just-. Wish us the best of luck and top it off with a 'Be happy' notion or something?" Zeno bickered.

My face was already heating up. This was really fucking embarrassing.

"All I'm saying is that if your son impre-."

"Mum! Fuck's sake that's not going to happen!" I groaned.

Scarlett and Lola were having the fucking best time of their lives. Sharing a laugh as they watched Zeno and I crumble and grow embarrassed by the bloody minute.

Draco, too, was chuckling besides Lorenzo with a slice of toast in his hand.

"First of all, language," my mum sternly stated, "Second of all, I'm just taking preventative measures-."

"Mrs. Zabini-. Trust me. We don't plan on doing any of that stuff anytime soon-." Zeno assured.

I looked at the parents as I noticed Lorenzo and Draco scoff, though not noticeable enough for the mums to catch on. Boys knew when boys were shagging.

I want to crawl in a hole and not come out. I'm seriously going to explode.

"Alright..." my mum beamed.

I looked back at Zeno as he rolled his eyes at his parents.

'Kill me now' he mouthed.

I couldn't help but chuckle at his gesture.

Same here, Zeno.
