Next day, as Rhea made her way into the ward she dashed into Shad, she almost slipped, but Shad was quick, he held her waist firmly and prevented her from falling. Rhea looked at Shad; he looked back. Their gaze getting locked. Time freezes for Rhea and for Shad everything else gets blurred. They stand there for few seconds before Rhea broke the eye lock standing up straight.

'Are you alright?' Shad asked as Rhea adjusted her yellow dupatta. She nodded. Shad found it difficult to look away from her; he noticed a random strand of hair touching her cheek and lips; she looked nervous he could sense it by her shivering fingers, darting gaze, and trembling j into the ward. She is relieved to go away from Shad. Earlier now when he had held her waist, Rhea had felt her heart fluttering and goosebumps and when their gaze had met everything felt magical like she is in some fairy tale world. Even last night, all she could think of, was Shad. She was so annoyed at herself; it's just been two days she had known Shad, and already he has started to rule her thoughts and perhaps her heart. Rhea doesn't understand this feeling; it's completely different. But one thing is clear that she has never felt like this for any man before. Rhea had always focused on her studies and so never had a boyfriend and even now being twenty-two she was still single and fully focused on her career, but with Shad, she feels like a love struck teenager. Perhaps she is having a crush on Shad. Yes, she has a crush on him, nothing else.

Shad and Singhaniya were talking when Rhea came followed by Imran. He greeted Shad and Singhaniya. Shad turned to Singhaniya and asked him why he had called them here. Singhaniya took a deep breath and smiled; he placed his hand on Shad's shoulder. He then goes on to announce that there is a two-day conference of Cardiologists in Pune. Reputed Cardiologist from all over the world will be coming, and so, it will be a big opportunity for them, Shad, Rhea, and Imran. All three are excited hearing this. Singhaniya goes on to tell that the conference is on 5th, that is two days later.

'I will arrange the tickets for all three of you then?' Singhaniya said

'Yes, Sir' Shad, Rhea, and Imran said in unison. Shad and Rhea looked at each other; she quickly looked away.

Once Shad and Singhaniya left, Imran turned to Rhea and happily gushed how excited he is. As he talked, Rhea realized that she just agreed to go to Pune for two days. She is worried if her father will allow her. She bit her lower lip, she contemplated of not telling this to her father but then she has never done anything against her father's will. Her father had always understood and supported her, she felt better thinking this way. Her father will only support her. She excused herself and went to a corner taking out her phone.

She cuts the call after a female robotic voice informed her the person she is trying to reach is busy.

'Yaar, Eifad it is important...I have to go...' Shad whined as Eifad flatly asked him not to go for the conference.

After getting the news about the conference, Shad couldn't control his excitement, and he had to share it with his best friend. The first thing he did is hurry to her cabin; he wanted her to be the first one he shared this wonderful news with. But after he had excitedly confessed he was heavily disappointed when Eifad didn't show any excitement. Instead, she simply asked him not to go. From past fifteen minutes, Shad is convincing her to let him go. At one point he felt angry, he had slammed his fists on the table. His anger didn't change Eifad's mind, in fact, she didn't even flinch. Shad shook his head 'Eifad!' he said softly 'Don't you want your friend to grow as a doctor?'

'I want to, but you aren't going' she said not looking at him, but at the file she held

'Fine!' Shad said through gritted teeth, he then turned around and stormed out of the cabin. Eifad looked up as Shad slammed the door shut behind him.

'This is a very good opportunity for you Bacha, I am really happy for you...yes, I am there in your support, make me proud' Rhea felt emotional as her father encouraged her over the phone. She felt all her inhibitions disappearing; she is happy that her father didn't let her down and like she had expected he supported and motivated her. She happily bids her goodbyes to her father and cuts the call. She turned around and frowned on seeing Shad angrily storm into his cabin. She wondered what happened to him, she took a step towards his cabin but stopped in her tracks. She shouldn't interfere in his personal matters, so she turned around and left. As she walked away, she felt concerned for him. She hoped he isn't any trouble.
