'Let's have lunch together' Eifad whispered to Shad. The conference had just taken a half an hour lunch break.

'Huh...ye...yes.' Shad said sounding distracted. Eifad glanced at Rhea and Imran. Rhea who had been looking at Shad quickly looked away.

'Let's invite your friends as well' she said

'Really? Thanks' Shad said excitedly. Eifad nodded smiling. As soon as she gave him the green signal Shad hurried towards Rhea and Imran. Eifad's smile turns into a frown.

She turned around and watched angrily; Shad happily talking to Rhea and Imran, it's mostly him talking to Rhea than Imran. Eifad fisted her fingers and glared at Rhea. Just in one day, Rhea changed Shad. Her Shad isn't hers anymore, and this isn't going down well with Eifad.

Rhea looked nervously at Eifad as she followed Shad. She is staring darkly at Rhea.

'Hello.' Eifad said forwarding her hand to Rhea. She gulped and held her hand. Rhea winced as Eifad squeezed her palm. She flashed a fake smile, and Rhea smiled back awkwardly.

'Hello Maam' Imran said extending his hand but Eifad doesn't take it instead she looked at Shad and gestured him to follow her. Imran looked disappointed. Nevertheless, he followed.

Eifad sat opposite Rhea at the lunch table. Her food kept untouched before her. Rhea at first was uncomfortable with Eifad, but Shad cleverly distracted her by starting up the discussion about the conference. Soon, Rhea Shad and Imran get involved in the discussion completely. Eifad, on the other hand, continued to stare at Rhea.

Imran cracked a joke, and they laughed, Shad turned his head towards Eifad and found her glaring at Rhea, her food untouched.

'Eifad' Shad said softly placing a palm on her shoulder. Eifad doesn't move but simply moved her gaze from Rhea to Shad.

'All right? You didn't like the food...?' Shad asked concerned. Eifad looked into her plate and then at Shad

'I am not hungry' she said simply. Shad realized something is wrong.

'Okay, let's go to the hall' Shad said and Eifad nodded. Shad turned to Rhea and Imran and asked them to continue and join them once they are done. Imran nodded. As he and Eifad stood Rhea extended her hand and placed it over Shad's. Eifad stiffened, Shad froze feeling goosebumps.

'But you haven't eaten properly' Rhea suggested he eat first. Eifad placed her hand over Rhea's, she removed her hand from over Shad's and took his hand in hers instead. She smiled at Rhea, 'You guys have fun' She then turned to look at Shad 'Let us go' she said, and Shad nodded. As they walk, Eifad turned around and smirked at Rhea. Eifad felt her heart lift up looking at her disappointed face. Eifad is happy that still, she is Shad's top priority.
