TEN YEARS LATER

General P.O.V

The warm summer breeze blew through the tall grass in a wide open field. A woman with long blue hair and blue cat ears sat on a large blanket, staring up at the clear sky. "Mommy!" a small voice cried. She smiled as she sat up, barely poking over the grass. A large man with tawny brown wings and a lions tail flew towards her. In his arms he held a small boy with deep blue hair and brown eyes. He had brownish blue wings and muddy brown furred legs.

The black haired man flew to her and landed with a soft thud beside her. The boy jumped from his father into the arms of his mother. "Mommy I flew today!" she gave him a little gasp. "You did? That's fantastic Kinder!" she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. He made an ew sound and wiped his cheek. "Levy! Gajeel! " A voice called. They looked up to se a group flying towards them.

Four kirin, a seraph carrying a rabbit chimera and a smaller chimera beside them. They landed on the large blanket with their friends and the children immediately began chasing eachother. "How have things been going in the city?" Levy asked her friends. She and Gajeel had moved to the country side, for a quieter life. "Oh things are going great! Erzas restaurant is opening next week." Lucy, the rabbit, said. There daughter was an energetic thing with pink hair and pink rabbit ears. Flaming wings like her fathers sprouted out of her back. She was the oldest of the children, at eight years old.

The kirin twins were next at seven. They both had long hair like their mother, but it was a deep purple. The daughter was taller and carefree, like her father. The son was on the stricter side like his mother. Kinder was the youngest at five and everyone adored him.

Levy laid out the mountains of food she had brought for everyone and once the kids were settled, they ate. After awhile the small cat stood and raised her cup. "Today marks the first decade of peace." she said with a smile. "For the sake of our children, I hope," there it was. That magic word. That word that stopped to forces and joined them together. She couldn't help but smile. "I hope that this peace continues for thousands of years." The parents raised their cups and cheered. The children, who didn't know what she was talking about, cheered anyway. Gajeels pulled her down and kissed her quickly, earning disgusted noises for the kids.

This peace would last for eternity, as long as that little word stayed in the hearts of at least one.

As long as there was hope.
