A/N: Heyo!
As of now, (Oct. 12th, 2022) I'm not sure if WoF dragons kiss or not (I'm pretty sure that happened in one of Moon's visions?), so I had to improvise.

Pelco's POV

"Today we will be learning about leafspeak", Cricket said.

Tody raised his talon.

"What is it, Tody?"

"I'm hungery."

"Didn't you have breakfast?", Cricket asked.

"I've had breackfast yes, but, wot about second breakfast?"

I rolled my eyes and grined.

Cricket stared blankly.

"Well, as I was saying, leafspeak is an ablity unique to Leafwings, although, not all Leafwings have it."

A tall Leafwing walked up from behind Cricket.

The Leafwing was green with yellow scales on her face, neck, wings and tail.

"Cricket, tell me what the hell me and Poissionleaf are doing here?', the Leafwing whispered.

"This is my friend Sundew. She's one of the strongest leafspeakers ever. Sundew, show us how it's done."

Sundew took a seed from a pouch around her neck and stuck the seed in the dirt.

Without even closing her eyes, Sundew made the seed frow into an adult tree.

There were several amazing exclaimations from the class.

Sundew walked up to Oaktail.

"You, what's your name?", she asked gruffly.

"Oaktail."

"Do you have leafspeak?"

"Yes, but, it isn't nearly as strong as your's."

"Let's see what you got", Sundew looked around for a bit, "See if you can make that Anemone seedling grow into an adult plant."

Oaktail closed his eyes and after a few minutes, the plant was fully grown.

It was (in my opinion) even more beautiful than the sea creature anemones that me and Anglefish used to find back at the Seawing palace.

"Wait, but I thought anemones were only found in the ocean", Earthreal put in.

"They are, but, this is a different kind of Anemone", I explained.

"Sunemonee?", Tody asked.

"No, say it with me, an-em-on-e"

"Annemonemmee?"

"An-e-m-o-n-e."

"Ok, I give up I just can't say it."

"Excuse me, Sundew, but how is this scientificly possible?",Earthreal asked.

"First of all, leafspeak is rare.Second, most of what we do is just encouraging the plant and telling it how to tilt it's leaves to get more sun", Sundew answered.

"Oh, Oaktail, it's so pretty!", Acrea cried.

"Acrea, we've been through this already, I'm taken", Oaktail said, wrapping his wing around me.

"But we kissed-"

"Nooooo, you kissed me and I didn't even want you to", he corrected.

Haha, take that, you boyfriend-stealing-jerk.

Acrea walked away angerily.

Oaktail sighed.

"I feel like I've made it pretty clear to her."

"Maybe she's just like that", I suggested.

"Do you think she could be involoved with the mystery?", Oaktail asked.

"She might be, but, the only evidence we have against her is that she's annoying and we don't like her", I reasoned.

"That's why I like you."

"Really?", I asked with a smile.

"Well, not the only thing. You're just so. . ."

His lips met mine and we kissed.

Oaktail pulled away abruptly.

"Uh, sorry, Pelco, I got a little carried aw-"

"Shut up", I said, puling him closer and kissing him.

I don'y know how long we stood there but, apparently, it was enough time for the entire class (inculding out pals from the Jade Winglet, Bumblebee, Auklet, Cliff and Dusky) to walk away without even realizing we were gone.

"Ok, where did everyone go?", i asked Oaktail.

And then, suddenly, I blacked out.

When I woke up, I found my self tied to a log.

"Oaktail, are you here?"

"Yeah I'm here. We blacked out, I think we were attacked."

I realized that we were moving down river and the current was picking up.

"Oh no."

"Let me guess, we're about to go over the waterfall?"

"Yep."

"Sharp rocks at the bottem?"

"Most likely."

"Bring it on."

"AHHHHHHHH!"

The force of the waterfall tore the ropes and the log broke in half.

"Oaktail? Oaktail, where are you?"
My voice was racked with concern.

Oaktail pounced on me from behind.

"Don't ever do that to me again! I was worried I might have lost you!"

"The world would never be the same without me!", Oaktail said dramaticly.

I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, lovebirds, where in te world have you been?", Cliff called from across the river.

"It's a long story", I answered as we swam to the bank.

"Ok, well, you guys head back to Jade Mountain and go to the study cave for history class with Webs", Cricket told us.

"Yay", I said sarcasicly under my breath.

"He's like the thing that wouldn't shut up, right, Pelco?"

"One-hundered percent."

A/N: Sorry about all of the Emporor's New Groove quotes I had in here; I totally didn't put Pelco and Oaktail down the waterfall just so that I could use that quote ;))))
