The NGTV helicopter rose from the clouds, heading to the chunks of land grouped together.

''Ninjago News Air Traffic control, Gayle Gossip with breaking news. For weeks, everyone has been stumped as to why prime real estate of Ninjago has simply vanished into thin air. Well, consider the mystery solved. They are in thin air.'' Gayle Gossip answered, looking at Djinnjago.

''Directly above us are the missing remains. I'm staring at it right now, folks. Literally, chunks of Ninjago reassembled into what looks like...Hold on, I think I see someone flying towards us. Maybe they can provide more clarity.'' She said, but the flying vehicle shot a rocket towards the helicopter, missing and creating shock waves.

''More breaking news. Literally, my news chopper is breaking apart. The people of this floating island do not provide more clarity. They provide more cannon fire! Dangerous cannon fire! This is Gayle Gossip signing off, hoping I can still land this thing.'' Gayle informed her viewers as the helicopter spun out of control towards the sea.

Buffalo Wings floated towards Jay, who swept the deck with a broom. ''Looks like you missed a spot.'' He said, spilling the Lightning Ninja's bucket of water.

Jay sighed. ''I'm not gonna say it.''

''Say what? That you can wish it all away? Well, you can. You've already made your first two wishes, you have one left.'' Nadakhan the (Dj)inn informed him.

''My friends will come for me,'' Ginja told him defiantly.

''I hope so. The more of you my Djinn Blade collects, the stronger I become. Creating a world from scratch takes a lot of hard work. Djinjago would get done a lot sooner if everyone pitches in, if you know what I mean.'' Peanut Butter replied, and threw the sword in the Lightning Ninja's direction, with its inhabitants screaming.

''Care to say hello to your friends? Wish it. Wish it all away and join them. Wish it and you'll never have to pick up another scrub brush again.''

''If I don't have this Vengestone ball and chain, I'd zap you clean off this ship,'' Jay told him.

''Hmm. I can see why she once liked you. You're stronger than you appear. But I know it's all an act. Deep down, you're scared. You know you're weak. You make jokes to mask that you're afraid. That's why you didn't do anything when she fell for your friend, why you can't do anything when she falls for me. Believe me, aboard my ship, you will break. I will make sure of it. And when that time comes, I will be there, so you can wish it away.''

''Still not gonna say it,'' Gingerhead replied.

''When he's done swabbing the deck, make sure he swabs the entire hull.'' Carrot Top told Flintlocke.

''The bottom of the ship, Captain?'' The sharpshooter asked.

Jay cleaned the hull, almost falling from the weight at the end of his chain.

''You're not afraid, are you, funny man?'' The Pirate Genie asked him.

''Ha! I love it!'' The Lightning Ninja replied.

Lloyd was on his dragon, flying back to the others after flying over the Endless Sea. (Y/n) caught him before he could fall onto the sand, and helped him up.

''You okay? Did you see any land?'' Cole questioned.

''Just water. I tried to reach the mainland, but it's too far. We won't be able to get off this island on our own.'' The Green Ninja replied.

(Y/n) sighed. ''Well, that's unfortunate.''

Suddenly, Cole laughed, confusing the others. ''What's so funny about our predicament?'' Nya asked.

''Oh, I was just thinking about what Jay might say to that.'' The Earth Ninja answered. He then raised his voice.

"You're telling me we went through all that trouble to get the venom to stop Nadakhan, and now we have no way to get off this island!?" He asked, before using his normal voice. ''Heh, gone one day and I already miss him spazzing out.''

''Me too. After he lied to us, I was so hard on him. And now he's captured and all alone. Some friends we are.'' Nya replied.

''Hey, Jay's strong. We'll get him back. It's like what Wu once told me, if you want something bad enough, you find a way to make it happen.'' Lloyd told the others.

''He's right. If we can't fly off this island, we'll build our way. I've seen enough movies to know it's possible.'' Cake Devourer said.

''And if we've build a rocket off an asteroid, what's one raft a little—'' The Green Bean replied.

''Across an endless sea filled with unknown creatures that wanna eat us? Uh, that was my Jay impression. Well, what are we waiting for?'' The Water Ninja asked. ''Let's get building.''

They then ran off into the jungle, to gather resources.

Sharpshooter Flintlocke showed Doubloon a blueprint.

''The Raid Zeppelin ain't made for speed. It's made for power, you understand?'' Flintlocke asked, and the two-faced pirate nodded.

''And before we each met Nadakhan, we were castaways. In one way or another, he brought us together and made us whole.'' Clancee told Jay, who scrubbed the deck with a brush.

''Take D-Dogshank for instance. It's not easy being the second prettiest girl at the b-ball. She wished to stand out. Heh. Inevitably she did, but it ain't for being pretty.''

''Oh, then there's Doubloon. A two-faced thief caught trying to steal N-Nadakhan's gold. He tried wishing his way out of his sentence, but cap was so impressed with his agility, he went ahead and actually made him two-faced.''

''Oh, then Monkey Wretch wasn't always a monkey, but always a headache. Wished to be the greatest mechanic of his kind. T-t-too bad for him that kind was the mechanized primate variety.''

The Lightning Ninja looked over at Doubloon and Flintlocke, who were poring over the blueprint. 'If only I could get a message out to my friends.' He thought.

''But I never made a wish. No, no, no. Not I, heh. Couldn't think of anything to w-wish for, even if I tried. Got everything I need right here.'' The pirate serpentine explained, and Jay watched as Flintlocke and the two-faced pirate left. ''Never fit in with the rest of the Serpentine, so I'm happy enough to have a family.''

''Ow! Oh, my back! Ugh! Oh, that's it. If only I could wish this pain away.'' The Lightning ninja said, clutching his back and acting as if he were in pain.

''Huh? What did you say?'' Clancee asked, turning to him.

''I've finally reached my breaking point,'' Ginja answered, falling to his knees.

''J-Just hold on.'' The Pirate Serpentine replied, and started to leave. ''Captain! Captain! You need to come here! We broke him! We finally broke him!'' He exclaimed.

He ran over to the blueprint and quill, picking up the weight at the end of his chain. He flipped the paper over, grabbing the quill to write. "Friends, if you find this, I am doing fine. Please"—''Ugh, stupid quill. How did anyone ever write with these things?'' He asked himself. "Don't worry about—me. Worry about stop—stopping Nadakhan. Your friend"—

''I told you not to take your eye off him!'' Peanut Butter spoke, and Jay uncorked the bottle, putting the message into it and running away. ''You let him escape? Find him!''

The Lightning Ninja jumped onto a Raid Zepplin. ''Haha! Bye-bye!''

''What are you staring at? Get him!'' Nadakhan ordered and used his sword to bat Clancee onto the flying vehicle. The Pirate Serpentine fought him with his mop, while Jay dodged.

Doubloon made it go faster, and then the Raid Zepplin crashed into a floating chunk, making the two fall off, and Jay caught the rope connecting the two islands.

Clancee held onto the ball and chain, and the Lightning Ninja looked up to see the two-faced pirate looking down at him. He looked down, before Doubloon jumped onto the rope, making Jay lose his grip and fall.

The Lightning Ninja slid down a rope, with Doubloon right behind him. Once he was at the end he untied the rope, causing the two-faced pirate to fall onto another rope below it. The two chased each other until there were no more ropes, and Ginja caught sight of a sky mine.

He jumped onto it, laughing at Doubloon as the pirate looked at him. The pirates laughed as they rose from beneath the clouds on their flying pirate ship.

''You seem to have landed on a sky mine. One shot from Flintlocke and kaboom.'' Nadakhan informed him.

Jay sighed. ''All right, I surrender.'' He then secretly dropped the message in a bottle into the sea.

The Lightning Ninja once again scrubbed the deck, held hostage again by the sky pirates.

''You hungry?'' Flintlocke asked.

''Does it matter?'' Ginja questioned.

''Captain would like to see you for dinner.'' The Sharpshooter told him, removing his ball and chain. ''Ain't a request. It's an order.'' Flintlocke said, bringing out his guns.

Jay was escorted into the dining room, where Nadakhan sat at a table filled with delicious food.

''Mm. Please, please, eat something. You must be famished. But I must warn you, don't try anything foolish. I aim to have manners around the dinner table.'' Buffalo Wings warned.

''Don't think you can butter me up like a bread roll and expect me to make my last wish.'' The Lightning Ninja replied, sitting down.

''Mm. No, no, no, I would never dream. Please, eat. I simply want your company.'' Nadakhan informed him. Jay looked at the food before digging in. ''Though we are from different worlds, we share something in common. Hmm? An affinity for a special someone.''

''Mm. Sorry, pal, but I don't know who this lost love of yours is, but she ain't Nya. She's too good for the both of us. And she makes up her own mind.'' Ginja told him.

''Maybe. Hmm. But I have made up my own mind. All my life, I've been blessed with the ability to grant wishes for others, but cursed to have none of my own. Though born unto a king, everything that is mine I've had to work for. This food, this ship, this crew.'' Bootleg Will Smith replied.

''That accent?'' Jay asked.

Nadakhan grunted, slightly annoyed. ''Truth be told, I don't care about a new world nor winning Nya's heart.''

''Then why are you doing all of this?'' Sparky questioned.

''Oh, I don't need her heart. I only need her hand...in marriage. Because when a Djinn prince becomes king on Djinn land, he is bestowed the greatest gift of all.'' Nadakhan replied.

''Love?'' Jay asked.

The Bootleg Will Smith chuckled. ''No. Infinite wishes.''

''You never loved Dilara. You only loved what she could give you.'' The Lightning Ninja said, disgusted.

''And after I take your friends, and take your home, Nya will be mine, and no one will be able to stop me. I will be more powerful than anyone can ever imagine.'' Sparky attempted to shock him, but the Djinn was too fast, quickly restraining him. ''Too slow, junkyard boy.'' He said, making Jay groan.

The ninja continued building their raft. Remo used a rock to carve ''Y.N Vulpine'' into one of the logs, with (Y/n) creating an okay quality paddle out of a branch and a few palm tree fronds.

''One more round of palm ties and I'd say she's secure enough for sea,'' Lloyd told the others.

''Why is it all sea vessels are shes?'' The Water Ninja asked.

''I don't know. Because it takes a lot of paint to make them look good?'' Cole questioned, and both of the boys laughed, stopping when the girls gave them dirty looks.

''Oh.'' The Green Bean said and coughed.

''I kid, I kid. Lighten up, Water Lily and Vitamin C.'' The Earth Ninja replied.

Nya scoffed. ''I get it. My personal mission to rid the world of its prejudices is wearing thin.'' She said.

''Hey, uh, did anyone take my ties?'' Lloyd asked, realising they were gone.

''Not me,'' Cole replied.

''I didn't touch them.'' The Water Ninja said.

(Y/n) shook her head, while Remo did the same.

''Huh. I could've sworn they were right here. All this sun must be baking my brain. I'm going back into the jungle to collect some more.'' Lloyd said and left to get some more.

''You know, I think the real reason sailors name ships after women is because we name them after the most important people in our lives. Mothers, wives, sisters, the people we trust to protect us when life gets choppy.'' Cole replied, making (Y/n) smile.

''But Jay didn't trust me. Why didn't he tell me he saw a future with me?'' Nya asked. ''Even if I never believed it, if he told me, all of this could've been avoided.''

''He was too afraid you'd reject him. Sure Jay made some bad choices, but it's like Lloyd said, if you want something bad enough, you find a way to make it happen.'' The Earth Ninja answered.

''After all we've been through, I never thought you'd be the one sticking up for him. You're a good friend.'' Water Lily replied.

''Wrong. I'm his best friend.'' Cake Devourer corrected.

''Huh. Where's my hammer?'' Nya asked ''It was right here.''

The sand moved as if there was a giant snake in the sand. ''Whoa! Did you see that?'' Cole asked.

''See what?'' Nya questioned.

''There's another. There's two of them. I think I know why things around here go missing. Get off the ground!'' The Earth Ninja replied, and (Y/n) grabbed Remo before he could go missing. They jumped onto the raft, looking around at the moving sand.

''I see them now.'' Katara 2.0 said. (Y/n) was panicking, her lack of hearing was her greatest fear.

''I think we need to be quiet. I think they're attracted to noise.'' Cole whispered.

''Hey, guys! Look at how many palm fronds I found!'' Lloyd shouted, holding a bunch of palm fronds as he walked towards them.

''Lloyd, get off the—'' Nya whispered.

A giant worm creature with small blue arms appeared, facing the Green Ninja.

''Are you kidding me?'' The Green Ninja asked, before Airjitzu'ing to a tree. Cole grabbed (Y/n) as the three jumped off the raft, the giant worms destroying their homemade raft.

''There goes our raft.'' Water Lily said.

''Just another day at the beach,'' Cole replied.

''This way! To higher ground!'' Lloyd yelled, and the three used Airjitzu, getting onto the palm trees.

''Hey, you just did Airjitzu for the first time.'' (Y/n) realised.

''You want something bad enough, you find a way to make it happen,'' Nya replied.

The worm-like creatures seemed to argue before they retreated into the sand.

''We need to get off this island.'' Green Bean told the others.

After getting beaten to a pulp in Scrap-N-Tap, Jay sat in his cell. The Serpentine Pirate Clancee, headed to his cell while the other Sky Pirates were asleep.

''Well, you have to eat,'' Clancee spoke, dropping the Lightning Ninja a tray of food.

''I'm not hungry,'' Jay told him.

''You f-fought really well. You held your own like a real pirate. You should have this to look the part.'' Clancee replied, and dropped something down to the Ginja.

''An eye patch? Just like what I saw in my future. It's all coming true.'' Jay realised.

''Psst. You always talk to yourself?'' Flintlocke asked.

''Only when I thought I was by myself. What do you want now?'' The Lightning Ninja questioned.

''Maybe you're right. Maybe he doesn't need us after all of this. But the only way we're gonna stage a mutiny is if we can get his sword away from him.'' The Sharpshooter replied. ''You think you can handle that?''

Jay scoffed. ''What am I supposed to do? I'm the one locked up down here.''

''Wait until he's asleep and make your move. We'll be right behind you.'' Flintlocke told him and dropped the keys and left.

''Flintlocke? Flintlocke?'' Ginja asked. ''Ha!'' he said, grabbing the keys.

Jay escaped his cell, quietly making his way over to Nadakhan's room. He grabbed what he thought was the Sword of Souls, but when he grabbed it, he realised it was just a fake, and the lights then turned on.

''I told you we'd be right behind you,'' Flintlocke said, and all of the Sky Pirates laughed.

''Well, I was wrong, he did fall for it.'' Nadakhan replied.

''Yeah. Even I'm not that pinheaded.'' Clancee said, Jay, sighed and groaned.

''If we're all up, I guess we have time for another round of Scrap-N-Tap. The Pirate Captain told his crew, making them cheer. ''That is unless you want to wish it all away. Huh? Go ahead, make your wish.'' Nadakhan said, using his one hook to lift Jay's chin up.

The remaining ninja finished the raft after Raft 1.0 ''Y.N Vulpine'' was destroyed.

''All right, we've finished the raft,'' Lloyd told the others.

''Now all we gotta do is get it to the water,'' Cole replied.

''Leave that to me. While you were working on that, I was working on this.'' Nya said, pulling a rope and a catapult fired coconuts, attracting the giant worm creatures with the small blue arms. ''They're distracted! Go!''

They carried the raft towards the water, while the worm creatures were distracted by the catapult yeeting coconuts. ''It's working!'' The Green Ninja exclaimed, and then the catapult malfunctioned.

''Aah. Coconuts? It stopped working.'' Cole said, and they used the raft as a shield. ''The raft isn't gonna protect us much longer! We can't get to the ocean!''

''Then I'll bring the ocean to us,'' Nya replied and summoned a wave. The ninja got on before Cole and (Y/n) could poof from the water, once they were away from the wave (Y/n) grabbed the paddle and started paddling the raft away from the island.

''You did it!'' Cole exclaimed.

''Yeah, but the raft is too damaged. It's falling apart.'' The Water Ninja said sea(ing) as leaks sprung up between the wood.

''Oh, no! (Y/n) and I can't touch water!'' The Earth Ninja said.

''We gotta go back,'' Lloyd replied.

''Oh, we're never gonna get off this island!'' Cole exclaimed. A helicopter appeared out of nowhere, almost blinding the five.

''Anyone need a lift?'' Ronin asked.

(Y/n) groaned and looked towards the island. ''I should've stayed on the island.''

''But ya didn't,'' Remo replied.

''Whoa! It's Ronin! Oh, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful sight.'' Lloyd said, looking at the thief.

The ninja hopped on, with (Y/n) having no choice but to do the same.

''Oh, by golly, we found you.'' The Commissioner told them.

''But how?'' Nya asked.

''We learned you chartered a boat. Following storm patterns, we looked—'' Simon said.

''Uh, detective work, ma'am. We're detectives. We detect things.'' Tommy interrupted.

''Wait. Did you come all this way to arrest us?'' Cole questioned.

''Arrest you? Oh, gosh no. We came to rescue you. After you saved our city from the Sky Pirates, we finally realized whose side you're fighting on. I was wrong to distrust you, Lloyd. That's on me.'' The Commissioner replied.

''But saving one more is on us. We got a message from Jay.'' The thief said and held up a message in a bottle. ''What say we get him back?'' Ronin asked.

(Y/n) stood as far away as she could from Ronin, which was not far as the space inside the helicopter wasn't much.

She then resorted to facing the wall, sitting down and telling Remo to not repeat the thief's words.

''What's up with her?'' Ronin asked the others.

''She's not happy, as you can see, plus she can't hear you, even if you shout,'' Nya replied.

''It's her necklace that's the problem,'' Cole said, looking at the girl. ''She can't hear.''

''Oh no,'' Ronin muttered, remembering something.

(Y/n)'s gonna wish for a certain someone to help next chapter, can you guess who?
