Victory is in your veins

You know it, you know it

And you will not negotiate

Just fight it, just fight it

And be transformed

(Y/n) glared at Chamille from the other side of the glass, while the Master of Form had a smirk on her face.

''Can't hear me?'' Her purple-haired sister asked. ''Good.''

''Don't.'' Ronin warned.

''Clear out red-hat, I'm trying to talk to my sister here,'' Chamille retorted, narrowing her eyes at the thief.

Remo looked at (Y/n), who shrugged.

''Why won't you tell us how to remove the necklace?'' Ronin asked, crossing his arms.

''Because you're here, now go.'' The Master of Form told him. The thief sighed, before leaving the two alone.

Her sister beckoned her towards the phone, and (Y/n) picked it up. Almost immediately she began speaking in a different and mysterious language:

''Inari, hoc monile removere soror mea est circumdatio.''

There was a click as the clasp popped off, making the necklace fall onto the ground. (Y/n) quickly grabbed it, and put it into a bag at her feet.

She then looked at Chamille, who raised an eyebrow at her vulpine sister.

''Come back to me when the necklace comes back. It always does.'' Chamille told her. She then glanced around, to see if anyone on the other side were listening in.

'Can we go now?' Morro asked.

''I should tell you, something sister,'' The Master of Form said. ''We don't share the same father.''

''But we share the same mother?'' (Y/n) questioned. ''How am I a kitsune and you're fully human?''

''There are things in life that cannot be explained,'' Chamille replied. ''Or it could be something I won't tell you.''

''Tell me.'' The Master of Illusion demanded, making her laugh.

''You can't make me.'' Her sister taunted, leaning back in her chair.

''I will.'' (Y/n) threatened, clenching her fists.

''If you do, you'll become the biggest disappointment in our family's history, with me in second place.''

''Okay, I won't, and you'll stay a disappointment, with no one in our family second to yours.'' (Y/n) retorted, and Remo appeared on her shoulders. She then walked away, with the little snake blowing a raspberry at the purple-haired girl.

Ronin came into the room soon after and found the Master of Illusion gone. Chamille pointed to the way he came in, and he followed, not sparing Grape girl a glance.

The Brown Ninja stood in front of the remaining ninja who sat on chairs in his studio.

''I wish I could tell you the mission is gonna be simple. It's not.'' Kiwi Ninja told them.

''Uh, yeah, it is. In case no one told you, we got what we need to stop Nadakhan on the island. After we go up there to save Jay, we take care of business. Simple.'' Cole replied.

''And when you fly your fancy Elemental Dragons up there, just how long do you think the three of you are gonna last against an entire crew of Sky Pirates?'' The Brown Ninja inquired.

''Then we get all the help we need and hit them with brute force. The Commissioner said we'd have his department at our disposal.'' Nya told him.

''You have my department at your disposal. Just say the word.'' The Commissioner replied, walking into the room.

''Then the word is "Goodbye." As in, we say goodbye to Jay when they see us all coming. No, this mission is not simple, but it's not impossible. Not without the help of a little magic. Movie magic. Kevin, Dan, the floor is yours.'' Dareth said, and two people walked in.

''Who are they? Retrieval experts?'' The Green Bean asked.

''Better. Screenwriters.'' The Brown Ninja answered.

'You did say ''thank you'' to them once.' Morro recalled.

'Yes, I did, thanks for reminding me.' (Y/n) replied.

''So we got the message in the bottle from Jay that reads: "Don't worry about me, worry about stopping Nadakhan." '' Kevin Hageman informed them.

''That's nice and straightforward, but very unhelpful. What's more interesting is the message behind the message.'' Dan replied, uncorking the bottle.

''Uh, you've lost me.'' Cake Devourer told them.

''Well, he wrote the message on the blueprints of one of their vehicles, a Raid Zeppelin,'' Kevin replied.

''So we suggest we use a little movie magic to recreate one of their ships so you can blend into their fleet,'' Dan added.

''Then, after our costumer disguises you as Sky Pirates and an acting coach teaches you their dialect to pass undetected—'' Kevin said.

''Arr, ye matey. We be becoming pirates.'' Lloyd interrupted with a bad pirate accent, making (Y/n) facepalm.

''Okay, um, thinking on the fly. The green one can't do dialects.'' Kevin noted.

''The mute Sky Pirate,'' Dan added.

''Yeah, that's it. Next, after we get you close enough...'' Kevin replied.

''Cole, the ghost Ninja, sneaks aboard the Misfortune's Keep, to poison Nadakhan with the Tiger Widow venom and trap,'' Dan said.

'It'd be a good idea to turn into a bird so you don't have to speak pirate.' Morro said.

'Nice idea, Weather Boy.'

''Wait a minute, I thought the venom could only slow him down. How do we trap him?'' The Water Ninja asked.

''Uh, okay, uh, just spit-balling here. Maybe it's an incantation. Something ancient.'' Kevin pondered.

''With a lot of hard consonants,'' Dan replied.

''Yeah. Like, uh...'' Kevin said and went on to speak gibberish.

''Great idea. Then, when Nadakhan gets trapped in the Djinn Blade, their friends are finally freed.'' Dan replied.

''Great idea,'' Kevin told him.

''Terrific, this is the plan? You're sending them up there without any real idea of what they may find or what they are up against, and your only answer is movie magic??'' Ronin spoke and walked towards the gathered group.

''So maybe we haven't figured everything out. We're all under deadlines, you know. I know it's a stretch, but this is by far the best bad idea we have. For every hour we waste, another piece of Ninjago goes missing.'' Dareth told them.

''If we wait any longer, I don't know how much more of a home we'll have left to save. This is the plan, people. Unless any of you have any better ideas, I suggest we get working. All right, let's make some magic, people.'' He finished.

---

''No, to the right.'' Said a cop, and the one holding the wooden board turned around, knocking down a policeman behind him. ''No, the other right.'' He said, and he was knocked down as well.

''Okay, people, let's do this one more time. Ahoy. Aye. Landlubber.'' The Acting Coach told the ninja.

''Ahoy. Aye. Landlubber.'' Nya, Cole, (Y/n) and Remo repeated.

Kevin measured Lloyd. ''What be a pirate's favourite letter?'' The Green Bean asked with a bad pirate accent.

''Uh, j-j-just don't. Mute pirates don't speak.'' Kevin replied.

Patty Keys guided her tour group to Yang's Haunted Temple.

''And here we have Yang's Haunted Temple.'' She told them, before turning around to see a crater where it used to be. ''Scratch that. I meant, used to have.''

''Look!'' A girl exclaimed and pointed to where the haunted temple was rising towards the clouds.

The tour group began to take photos, amazed by this strange event.

''On the bright side, at least the rest of the real estate should go up.'' Patty Keys told herself.

Yang's Haunted Temple reached New Djinnjago, now one of the many chunks of land that existed above the clouds.

''Should I junk the temple for scrap?'' Dogshank asked Dorito Genie.

''No, keep it. I rather like the look of it. I could always use a temple. But clean it up. It's filthy.'' Nadakhan replied, and the hulking woman sprayed water on it.

''This is my temple. I hold power over it.'' Yang declared, stepping outside.

Bootleg Will Smith sighed. ''And take care of those pesky ghosts while you're at it. They are so last season.''

Yang screamed and ran inside before he could be poofed by the water. While they cleaned the temple, the ghost master motioned his students out. ''Quick, hurry. This way.''

Nadakhan was in the middle of evilly laughing when Flintlocke interrupted him. ''Sorry to bother you, Captain, but we've seemed to have recruited some landlubbers. They want to help you in your endeavours.''

''So you want to be pirates, do you? What is your name?'' Cantaloupe questioned the pair.

''Colin, Captain. And might I add—'' The dude named Colin answered.

''What sort of a pirate name is that? From here on out, you'll be Landon. And what say your name be?'' Nadakhan asked the other dude.

''It's, uh, Landon, Captain,'' Landon answered.

''Ugh! Fine. Whatever. You're Squiffy and you're, I don't know, Bucko.'' Carrot Top replied, annoyed. ''Get these two clowns out of here. I'm trying to build a world.'' He whispered to Flintlocke.

''Aye, aye. And don't worry, Captain. With more help, we'll have Djinjago up and running soon enough.'' The Sharpshooter replied, signalling the pair to leave. He soon followed.

''Yes, it will be. And when the last Ninja is mine and I marry the girl, I'll have all the wishes I want, and nothing will be able to stop me.'' Nadakhan told himself.

''Uh, were you talking to me, Ca-Captain?'' Clancee asked.

''No, Clancee, I was talking to myself. Now get back to work!'' Peanut Butter replied.

Nearby, the ninja flew in their Raid Zepplin. ''All right, we're getting close. You have the venom, Cole. I mean, Black Blood.''

On the Earth Ninja's shoulder, was a parakeet, or Sybil/(Y/n). (If you don't like the name, use a pirate name generator to get another one you'd rather.)

''I sure do, but aren't you supposed to keep quiet Mutt the Mute?'' Cole asked.

''Don't waste an ounce of that stuff. We may only have one shot here. Oh, I don't like this. I don't like this at all.'' Nya replied.

''Me too, why do I feel like something bad is going to happen?'' Remo/Renford questioned. (Y/n) looked at him, and gave the little pirate-dressed snake a nod.

''What's wrong? I've never seen you so afraid.'' The Earth Ninja told Water Lily.

''I just hope Jay's all right. It's been so long, we don't even know if he's—'' Nya replied.

''Don't say it.'' Cole interrupted. ''He'll be okay. We've already lost too many. We're not gonna lose him.''

''All right. It's showtime. I'll bring her in close.'' The Water Ninja told the two.

''Go!'' Lloyd/Mutt the Mute shouted, and Cole made his way over to Nadakhan's room, and to the table with the bottles.

''Cole? Is that you?'' Jay asked, crawling towards the two, wearing an eyepatch.

''Jay! You're okay! What happened to your eye?'' The Earth Ninja questioned.

''Why-Why are you dressed like a pirate? And why do you have a parakeet on your shoulder?'' The Lightning Ninja asked.

''Don't worry about that. Our friends are nearby. We're gonna get you out of here.'' Cole answered, and (Y/n) turned back into her normal form, surprising the Lightning Ninja.

The Cake Devourer quickly unlocked Jay's ball and chain with the keys he took from Doubloon.

''Boy, am I glad to see you two,'' Jay replied. ''Cole, I'm sorry about keeping stuff from you. I should've told you that—''

(Y/n) stood somewhere near the door, ready to alert the two if the Pirate Captain were to come.

''And I should've been a better friend. Don't worry about it. Save your strength. We can laugh about this when it's all behind us.'' The Earth Ninja told him.

''Behind you.'' Jay and (Y/n) said at the same time.

''Quick, hide in there,'' Cole said and pushed the Lightning Ninja inside a closet. He arranged the ball and chain so it appeared Jay was still in bed and hid behind the bed with (Y/n). Nadakhan floated in and went over to the bottles.

''Ugh! I forgot to pour the venom.'' The Earth Ninja whispered. (Y/n) looked at him, and sighed softly.

''We're out of Fiddlehead cider. Make sure someone plunders a new case for me!'' Floating Dorito Man ordered.

''Aye, aye, Captain. You may need a new cloak. It may be cold and really windy outside this fine evening.'' Flintlocke replied, poking his head into the room.

''Good idea,'' Nadakhan said and went over to the closet, but the ship leaned to the side. He then caught sight of the ball and chain rolling across the floor. ''Our prisoner's escaped! Search the ship!''

''Aye, aye, Captain. We won't let him get away.'' The Sharpshooter told him, and both of them left the room.

''We better get out of here, and fast.'' The Master of Earth told Jay, escaping and forgetting about the venom.

---

''What's taking them so long?'' Nya/Scallywag asked Lloyd/Mutt and Remo/Renford.

''Don't ask me. I'm not supposed to talk.'' Mutt replied.

''That's where the other Zeppelin is?'' Clancee asked, and climbed down. ''Oh, hiding away so the new b-blood could steal a break, eh? Don't worry, I won't tell. What be your names?'' He asked.

''Uh, the name's...uh.'' Nya cleared her throat. ''The name's Scallywag. And this here is Mutt the Mute, and Renford.'' She spoke in her disguised voice.

''I speak fer this lad.'' Renford/Remo told the Serpentine Pirate, nodding towards Lloyd in his best pirate accent, which wasn't the best, but it could be considered a little bit better than the Green Ninja's.

''Well, listen here, Mutt, Scallywag and Renford, because I'm only gonna tell you once how things g-g-go around here. At the top of the ladder, you get Nadakhan.'' Clancee informed them.

''After him, it's Flintlocke. Then Doubloon. Oh, no, no, wait. It's, uh, D-D-Dogshank. Then Doubloon, Monkey Wretch, me, and way down at the bottom of the ladder is you three.''

''So if you ever want to rise up that ladder, you got to first step on me. Oh, no, wait a minute, that does not sound right.'' Lloyd then noticed Nya's fake moustache starting to fall off. ''Only everyone higher-ranked steps all over me, so why would they?'' He asked.

''Ahem, maybe I got it all upside down. Either way, careful using the word "wish" around the captain. It's tempting, but w-w-wishes aren't free. I never used mine. But why would I? A pirate's life is great!'' He exclaimed.

The Green Ninja tried to get Nya to fix her sideways moustache. ''Ahem. Moustache.'' Lloyd spoke, and the Water Ninja fixed it.

''Hey! Y-Y-You talked. I thought you were mute.'' Clancee replied, turning around to the three.

''Aye. It be a miracle. Arr!'' Lloyd said in a disguised voice.

''They say you were born with no tongue, but look at that. There it is.'' Nya/Scallywag told him in her disguised voice.

''All hands, keep an eye out for anything suspicious. The prisoner has escaped.'' Flintlocke told the crew over a loudspeaker.

''Hey...what are you waiting for?'' Clancee questioned. ''You heard your orders. Be on the lookout. And we'll be needing a new name for you, Mutt the Mute. How about, uh, Mutt the Miracle?''

''Uh, sounds great. Love the idea.'' Lloyd replied in his disguised voice. Clancee left, and the three sighed in relief.

''That was close. We have to be ready when they get here.'' Nya said.

''Tell me about it.'' Green Bean replied.

---

The three continued running, stopping when Cole realised he forgot something. ''Ah! The venom!''

''You left it? But we can't go back.'' Jay replied.

(Y/n) sighed in frustration and looked in the direction in which they came.

''And we can't go on without it. It's too important. I'll tell you where Lloyd and Nya are. You can fly to them—'' The Earth Ninja told him.

Sparky sighed. ''I can't spark up my Dragon. I've been scrubbing the ship every waking moment.''

''They didn't give you any rest?'' (Y/n) asked. Jay shook his head.

''There they are. Follow me.'' Cole said. The three did Airjitzu, going to the Raid Zepplin, but they saw Sky Pirates instead of Lloyd, Nya and Remo.

''Uh-oh. I think we may have jumped on the wrong ship.'' The Earth Ninja stated. They looked to see the others also captured.

---

Later, while in their cell, Cole tried to escape his cuffs, while (Y/n) and Remo watched, Jay and Lloyd stood together.

Nya was somewhere that the others weren't, meaning she was with Bootleg Will Smith.

''It's Vengestone, remember?'' Ginja asked. ''You can't ghost through it, and your super-duper strength won't work anymore.''

''Cole, you said you left the venom in his quarters?'' Lloyd questioned.

''Yeah. Well, hopefully, Nya can get to it.'' The Master of Cake replied.

''How? She doesn't even know it's there. Oh, I don't like her being alone with the silky-voiced seducer. If he lays one hand on her, I—'' Jay said.

''Don't worry, we won't let that happen.'' (Y/n) interrupted.

''We better not, because if he takes her hand in marriage, he'll reach his True Potential, and we'll all be hooped when he has infinite wishes,'' Sparky replied.

''Infinite wishes?'' Cole asked. ''He'll be unstoppable.''

''But then his crew will be expendable. Maybe we can convince them to—'' Lloyd spoke.

''Already tried. They wouldn't believe me.'' Jay interrupted, before sighing. ''Thanks for trying to save me, but maybe it would've been better if you never came.''

''Hey, we may not have our Elemental Powers, but we're not without hope. Between the four of us and Nya, we have thirteen wishes that—'' The Green Ninja replied.

''Wishes? You wanna think that through?'' Jay Gordon/Walker asked. ''Making wishes is why we're up here.''

''Yeah. And when he turns them around on you, you'll beg for him to wish it away. And that only makes him more powerful.'' Cole told them.

''No wishes, Lloyd. Things may be bad, but they can still get worse.'' The Lightning Ninja said.

''Okay, okay, no wishes. Only as a last resort.'' Lloyd said, putting his hands up in defence. He sighed. ''I just hope Nya's faring better than we are.''

While the others talked to each other, (Y/n) sat alone while having a conversation in her head with Morro.

'You haven't used any of your wishes.' The Master of Wind said.

'Yeah, I know, I don't have any ideas for what I could wish for.' (Y/n) replied.

'Well, you could try to think of at least one.'

'Wish for the realm crystal?'

'It's been shattered to pieces thanks to Flintlocke.'

'How about wishing to no longer be a ghost? I would no longer poof when I touch the water-'

'I have a better idea.'

---

''Take them out of the hole. Prepare the plank.'' Nadakhan ordered, and the pirates took them out of the hole, with Clancee shaking as he held his sword threateningly towards the ninja.

''You wouldn't dare!'' Nya exclaimed, held back by Dogshank.

''I make the orders around here. The sooner you learn that, the smoother it will go.'' Floating Carrot replied.

''You hurt them and you can forget about any deal.'' The Water Ninja threatened.

''Then agree to marry me right now and it'll all be over,'' Nadakhan told her.

''Nya, don't do it. It'll make him all powerful and—'' Cole replied.

''The black one goes first.'' Cream Cheese said, pushing him towards the plank, with Clancee and Flintlocke helping. ''I won't ask you again, Nya. Give me your hand, and they live. I remind you, below us is nothing but ocean. And just what does water do?''

Cole looked down at the water below, his ball and chain bending the plank. (Y/n) watched with worry, fearing for his life.

''Nya, you can't,'' Lloyd told her, being held by Flintlocke.

''I don't get it. We should be pushing her over. You said that all that matters is Djinjago, not her.'' The Sharpshooter told his captain.

''Quiet, you hairy-lipped fool. Or should there be one more walking that plank?'' Nadakhan asked. ''Push him over.''

''Wait! Don't I get any last words?'' The Earth Ninja questioned.

''Humor me,'' Cheez-wiz answered.

''I wish...'' Cole started.

''Cole! Don't do it!'' Ginja warned.

''You wish?'' Nadakhan questioned.

''I wish Vengestone didn't stop our powers but made them stronger.'' The Earth Ninja replied, and his wish was granted, making him laugh. ''I can't believe it worked!''

''If he's within earshot, he has to grant the wish,'' Lloyd told the others.

(Y/n) couldn't control her powers, and began floating, like an astronaut in space. Her ball and chain was the only thing keeping her grounded, with Remo watching her.

''Get them!'' Nadakhan ordered, and the Sky Pirates attacked the ninja. (Y/n) stopped floating and grabbed her ball and chain, joining the others as they stood shoulder to shoulder in a sort of circle.

''I wish someone told me we were gonna use wishes!'' Nya said.

''Your wish is yours to keep.'' Bootleg Will Smith replied.

''Careful not to waste wishes. That's two down, with eleven left.'' The Green Ninja warned.

''Remember the rules: you can't wish for love, death, or more wishes.'' Cole reminded them.

''Cole's wish has made our powers too strong. I can't control it. No, I knew this was a bad idea but nobody listens.'' Ginja told the others.

''We have to break off the ball and chains,'' Lloyd said, and they used their powers to free themselves.

''I ain't afraid to shoot you where you stand.'' The Sharpshooter threatened, pointing his gun at the Green Bean.

''I wish you were a lousy shot!'' The Green Ninja replied.

''I never miss.'' Flintlocke boasted and fired. The bullet slowed to a stop near Lloyd's feet, not even harming the Green Ninja.

''Huh?'' The pirates said, confused.

''I said I never miss!'' The ''Sharpshooter'' said, and looked at Nadakhan, who shrugged with all four arms. He then fired another bullet, this time shooting a hole in a Raid Zepplin.

''Stop firing, or else you're going to put a hole in all of us,'' Cheez-wiz told him.

''And would everyone stop wishing!?'' Jay yelled. ''Nothing good is going to come of this.''

A sky pirate ran towards Nya, who simply elbowed them, knocking them to the ground. Flintlocke then fired at the ground, ''argggh'' ing in pain as he put a bullet in his foot.

The boys did spinjitzu, before Nadakhan plunged the sword into the ground, creating a thin layer of slippery ice.

''That's not fair. He's fighting us with our friend's power.'' The Earth Ninja complained. ''I got it! I wish he didn't have that sword.'' He said, and the Soul of Souls flew out of Nadakhan's grasp and sailed high into the air, with Flintlocke catching it.

''Your blade, Captain,'' Flintlocke told him, handing him the sword.

''Well, you got what you wished for, boulder brain. Words matter. We can't just fire off wishes from the hip like this.'' Ginja told him crossly.

''That's nine left. We have to be wiser what we wish for.'' Lloyd advised.

''No, not wiser! Quieter! No. More. Wishes!'' Jay shouted.

''How about this: I wish I was wise like Wu.'' The Green Ninja wished and started skating on the ice.

''Oh, clever boy,'' Nadakhan replied.

''Yeah, maybe we're overthinking this. Why hasn't anyone just said, "I wish us all out of here?" '' Cole asked.

(Y/n) sighed as the ship began to tilt.

''Oh, you fool,'' Cheez-wiz said.

''We really need to start listening to me!'' Ginja shouted.

''Make it stop,'' Flintlocke told his captain.

''I can't. He's wished us all out of here.'' Nacho Man replied.

Jay gasped as he saw the Tiger Widow Venom slide down the ice. ''The venom!'' He exclaimed and caught it.

''I really wish you hadn't said that, Cole,'' Nya told Earth Ninja.

''I heard that. It's yours to keep.'' Nadakhan said, twirling in the air once. Nya gasped.

''And there's another one wasted. You really aren't very good at this.'' The Lightning Ninja replied.

''Hold on!'' The Green Bean warned, and looked at his reflection in the ice. ''Ugh. I'm not just getting wiser. I'm getting older.''

''He wants you to wish it away. You can't!'' Jay told him.

''Well, unless someone wishes something quick, we're all gonna fall. And don't look at me, I don't have any left.'' Cole replied, and Jay looked at (Y/n). The Water Ninja and the Earth Ninja then fell.

''Then I wish those clouds would stop us!'' Nya shouted. Everyone then fell on the clouds, bouncing a few times.

''Would you look at that,'' Jay said. The ninja then fought the pirates on the clouds, and Lloyd stopped bouncing, laying down on the cloud.

''Lloyd, what's happening to you?'' Water Lily questioned.

''Don't worry about me. Jay and I have one wish left, and I'm not gonna use it to save myself.'' The Aging Green Ninja answered.

''But you'll continue to get decrepit. And you already sound like an old person. Let me use my last wish to save you.'' Ginja replied.

While the others talked, (Y/n) thought of her wish she would make.

''You think you can use your wishes to stop me?'' Nadakhan asked.

''I wish for a sword! No, Nadakhan. I know our wishes will stop you. Just not today.'' Lloyd said and used the sword he wished for to poke the cloud, making Nya and Jay fall.

''Nya! Jay!'' Cole and (Y/n) shouted.

''Don't worry. Together, those two will save us all!'' The Green Bean replied.

''Why would you do that?'' The Earth Ninja asked. ''You wasted a wish.''

''No, I saved the last one: Jay's wish. We've made our three wishes, Nadakhan. You can't control us.'' Lloyd told him.

''Wait a moment.'' (Y/n) spoke. ''Nadakhan, I'll make a wish right now.''

The others looked at her.

''I wish Morro was no longer a ghost,'' she said, and a green spectre appeared, with his signature green streak in his short black hair, he was Lloyd's least favourite person.

''Take Remo.'' (Y/n) told him, handing the snake to him. Remo looked at her, eyes wide, while she turned her gaze to the ground.

Then, the ghost used his wind powers to make a getaway, agonising in pain as the transformation from ghost to mortal started.

''You never made your wishes, Clancee. Wish these two away for me. Do it!'' Nadakhan ordered the poor Serpentine Pirate.

''Oh, I don't know, c-cap—'' Clancee said, looking conflicted.

''Do it! Or I will cast you away.'' Cheez-wiz threatened.

''Oh! I w-w-w-wish...'' The pirate serpentine stuttered.

''Do. It. Now!'' Nadakhan ordered, tapping Clancee's shoulder with his hook.

''I-I wish them away!'' The Pirate Serpentine said, and buried his face in his hands.

''W-What's happening?'' The Earth Ninja asked.

''What is supposed to happen.'' The Green Ninja replied.

The three floated into the air and turned into small floating orbs, which went into the Sword of Souls

''You're not coming with me unless you get the girl back. Now go! And make sure no harm comes to her, or it'll come back to you tenfold!'' Nadakhan ordered.

---

Morro was currently hurtling towards the waters of Stiix, holding onto Remo tightly as the two approached the village on stilts.

He hit the water headfirst, plummeting to the bottom. He let go of Remo as soon as he hit the water, the little snake closest to the surface.

A hand grabbed Remo, pulling him out of the water while the ghost turned mortal watched, darkness edging his vision.

'Don't fight it, let it take you, go with the flow.' His conscience told him, and he stopped struggling, knowing it was no use.

Soon, a slimy leafy-like thing wrapped around his arm, awakening his senses. He looked at it and tried to pry it off.

He couldn't stay down here long, there was air above him, so close, yet so far, it seemed like he was doomed to sleep with the fishes.

His vision darkened, and before it fully did, there was an explosion of bubbles above him.

---

Remo coughed, throwing up the water he'd swallowed. He looked over at Morro, who was currently passed out in a puddle of water, with someone doing CPR humming ''another one bites the dust''.

He knew none of these people, but the surroundings were familiar, the village of Stiix.

The former ghost coughed and spluttered, opening his eyes. ''Where am I?'' He asked weakly.

''The village of Stiix.'' The person answered, standing up to give him some space.

''Are you okay, Morro?'' Remo asked, slithering over to him.

The two talked while the person watched, standing there awkwardly.

Morro shivered, still soaking. The person then searched their bag which they conveniently had beside them, and pulled out an indigo coloured traveller's cloak.

''Here.'' The person said, handing the Master of Wind it. Morro pulled it on, almost instantly feeling a sense of warmth.

There were no tears in the fabric but it had a nice scent of lavender, with a hood to keep his hair and its recognizable green streak hidden.

''Thank you.'' Morro thanked the stranger, who dipped their head in response.

Remo appeared on his shoulders, looking concerned. ''We have to save the others, and most importantly (Y/n).''

''They'll be looking for us as well as Jay and Nya,'' Morro replied.

''Let's get going.'' The little snake said, and the two started to walk off, with Remo looking back at the person and saying ''goodbye''.
