A series of doors opened at Kryptarium Prison as the Ninja were led past a series of prisoners in their cells by Warden Noble, handcuffed.

(Y/n)'s special (b/s) necklace had been taken as it contained a bit of her power, and Remo, who was quite happy to stay with the Master of Illusion, wore a prison outfit along with the others who had their hands and feet shackled.

Nya got frightened by the prisoners, grabbed Jay, who tripped over.

''Whoa, ugh...'' The Lightning Ninja said, and Cole helped him up.

''Don't look scared, look mean. You gotta look hard in a place like this.'' The Earth Ninja told him.

''Meat, fresh meat.'' The prisoners said.

''Ah!'' Lightning Bug said as he glanced around at the prisoners.

''Fresh meat!'' The prisoners chanted.

''Don't mind them, they all get a little grouchy when they don't get their meat,'' Noble told them.

A cafeteria woman came out ringing a triangle and pushing a cart loaded with meat, handing it to each of the prisoners.

''I'm hungry,'' Remo said as he realised, feeling his belly grumble.

''Fresh meat!'' The prisoners chanted. ''Mm, meat!''

The Ninja quickened their pace, speed-walking away from the previous section of inmates.

Jaybird laughed nervously. ''Hehehehe.''

Lloyd strained as he attempted to take off his shackles. ''Ergh!''

''Kryptarium Prison, we've been here before, but as guests, never inmates,'' Zane told the others.

They walked past a cell with Terry and what looked to be his father, looking at (Y/n) with a frown on their faces. The Master of Illusion looked at them as the group walked past, before turning her gaze ahead. ''We're not welcome here.''

'What makes you think that?' Morro asked. 'The grumpy faced prisoners or the fact that we're shackled?'

Lloyd tried taking off the shackles, but it was no use.

''You can try, but those shackles are made of Vengestone. Pretty good for shutting down your powers, and makin' sure you don't ghost out of here.'' Noble told them.

''Oh, yeah? But how good are they against my super strength?'' Cole asked, grunting and straining as he tried to break his shackles. ''Just wait, almost got them.'' He said, straining more before sighing.

''They aren't gonna break.'' Katara 2.0 replied.

''Hey, aren't those the Ninja? They're responsible for putting me in this place!'' Wyplash asked, before taking off one arm and started hitting it against the bars.

''And we're shuffling, we're shuffling,'' Cole said as they walked faster.

''Since you're celebrities, I took the liberty of taking you out of the general population...'' Noble started.

''Ha! Who doesn't love special treatment?'' Hothead asked the others.

Noble opened the door. ''...and placing you in the super mean and dangerous population,'' he said, making (Y/n) groan in annoyance.

''Don't worry, you can perform your Day of the Departed concert here, I'm sure the inmates will love it.'' He added.

''Oh goodness, I almost forgot I had to do that...'' (Y/n) mumbled under her breath.

''Real special, all right,'' Nya said, glancing at her brother.

''It's no problem, warden. We'll do our time until all of this is straightened out. Like I said before, we were framed.'' Lloyd told him.

''That's what they all say. Now get in your cell, inmates!'' The Warden replied, and checked his pockets for the keys. ''Gosh, darn it, I forgot my keys again. Well, stay here while I go find them.'' He then ran off, leaving the ninja.

The ninja looked around at the imprisoned criminals, with (Y/n) almost instantly catching sight of her sister, who glared at her through the bars of her cell.

''A-at least they're locked up. Hehehehe...'' Jay chuckled nervously, and then the Mechanic pressed his cyborg arm, making all the doors slide open. He and the other prisoners surrounded the ninja, and they didn't look happy.

''Nifty gadget. Did you make that?'' Green Bean asked the Mechanic.

''They call me The Mechanic. And I got a bone to pick with you.'' He replied, pointing at Lloyd.

''Yeah, yeah, yeah.'' The prisoners cheered.

''Well, that's one more bone than you've got in your entire arm. Let me guess, you don't have much of a spine either!'' The Green Ninja retorted, making (Y/n) stifle a laugh.

'' I used to repair noodle trucks for Master Chen in his underground organization. When you put him out of business, you put me out of business.'' The Mechanic told him.

''Then by my observations, that was your own error. Working for a crimes boss isn't a very reliable career choice.'' Zane informed him.

''By my observation, actions have consequences. And you have to pay! This Nindroid here, it's got spare parts. I could use a few in a place like this.'' Cyborg dude that used to work for Chen replied.

''And I could use a spare arm! These chains won't stop us.'' Lloyd told him.

''If you want him, you're going to have to go through me.'' (Y/n) spoke, narrowing her eyes at him.

''Got my keys! Oh, come on, knuckleheads. Shake hands and be friends.'' Noble said, holding the keys to the ninja's cell, making the two shake hands.

''Just wait until I get my hands on your Nindroid.'' The Mechanic warned in a low voice.

''Come on boys, back to your cells.'' Said a guard, and the criminals were shoved back into their cells.

''Let's hope Dareth gets us out of here soon. I don't know how much longer we can last in a place like this.'' Kai told the others.

Dareth visited the ninja.

''What are you doing to get us out of here!?'' Cole shouted into the phone from the other side of the glass.

''This is no place for a Nindroid!'' Zane yelled.

''I don't look good in stripes!'' Kai shouted.

''They're all so mean! Help us! You have to help us!'' Jay yelled.

''My sister's in here, help!'' (Y/n) shouted.

''Shh.'' Lloyd shushed the others. ''While we're stuck in here, the Djinn is out there.''

''I know, I'm doing everything I can. Borg wanted me to let you know that the Djinn broke into Hiroshi's Labyrinth Stronghold and took the Realm Crystal. The good news is everything else is accounted for. The bad news is the Djinn may now have his old crew back.'' Dareth informed them.

''You have to get us out of here, Dareth. You're our manager. What are you doing to manage this?'' The Hotheaded Porcupine asked.

Dareth lowered his voice to a whisper. ''Did you get the cake? I baked some tools in it for you to cut through the bars.''

''Cake? We didn't get any cake.'' Jay replied, confused.

''Uh, how was I supposed to know there was something in it? I just thought it was crunchy.'' The Great Cake Devourer told the others.

''You ate our only way out!?'' Motormouth asked, angry.

''Lesson learned: Don't give Cole the cake if it has something useful inside it. Only give it to him when you're finished with it.'' (Y/n) said, looking annoyed.

'I'll keep that in mind.' Morro replied.

''Well, sounds like you're on your own. Be strong, little Ninja.'' The Brown Ninja said, putting his hand on the glass.

''What do you mean on our own?'' Kai asked.

''You're not leaving us in here!'' Jaybird shouted as Dareth walked away, still holding the phone.

''Wait, Dareth!'' The Fire Ninja said.

Dareth walked over to the warden. ''If anything happens to them in here, you'll have to answer to the Brown Ninja.''

''If there's a Brown Ninja out there, maybe he belongs in here too,'' Noble told him.

''Uh, I'll give him the message. Gotta go.'' The Kiwi Ninja said, before running out of the room.

The cafeteria lady served the inmates food. She dumped the whole bucket of what looked to be mashed potato on Kai's tray.

''A little extra since you're my favourite.'' The Cafeteria Lady told the Fire Ninja.

''You said you wanted special treatment,'' Nya told her brother.

Remo pushed his tray along and stopped to look up at the Cafeteria Lady. ''Any ham sandwiches?'' He asked, tilting his head.

The lady bent down, looking for it, but only came back with a lettuce sandwich. The little snake looked in dismay at the food, before grabbing his tray and letting (Y/n) pick him up.

Once (Y/n) got her tray of food for her and Remo, she joined the others in sitting down at a table.

''So the bad guys are out there, while the good guys are in here. It's not fair.'' Jay complained.

''What was it your favourite movie character would say?'' Cole asked, "Fair isn't a word where I come from''."

''The word was "fear''.'' Ginja corrected him. ''And if intergalactic space hero Fritz Donnegan was here, we'd already be out.''

''Ugh. Is this a muffin or a fossilized rock?'' The Earth Ninja asked, after banging it against his tray, then his head.

''Earth Ninja, no one likes you. What's Earth anyway?'' A prisoner that looked like a chef asked.

''What's beneath your very feet you fool?'' (Y/n) muttered under her breath.

''He's a Jay fan.'' The Cafeteria Lady told the Earth Ninja.

''Hi, guys, care for some Ninja company?'' Lloyd asked, and the prisoners sitting on the table got up and left.

''Guess they can't all be fans.'' Frosty the Ice Ninja said as they watched them walk away, then sat down at the table.

''We may be out of the action, but that doesn't mean we can't take action. So what do we know about this Djinn?'' The Green Bean questioned the others.

''Did someone say Djinn?'' Soto asked, who now had a fork as a replacement for his peg leg. ''You best not be speaking about Nadakhan the Djinn.''

''His name is Nadakhan the Djinn?'' Kai questioned.

''Hey, it's Captain Soto. The first captain of the Destiny's Bounty.'' Jaybird pointed out.

''And it's Jay, the whiny snivelling blue pyjama man who says everything obvious.'' The Pirate Captain retorted.

''Why can't anyone here be nice?'' The Lightning Ninja asked, and (Y/n) patted his back to reassure him.

''But who be you? I don't know you.'' Soto said to Nya. ''Are you ...uh... pyjama women?'' He asked the girls, getting off the table.

''Yes, you can say that.'' The Water Ninja replied nonchalantly.

''No. You look really familiar for some reason.'' Soto told her.

''Let's cut the small talk. You know him?'' The Green Ninja asked.

''Know him? I was the one who caught him.'' The Pirate Captain answered, while (Y/n) watched the Giant Stone Warrior pick up the prisoner that looked like a chef behind Soto.

''So you were the one who trapped him in the teapot? But how?'' Hotheaded Porcupine questioned.

''Catching a Djinn is harder than steering a galleon upstream in a storm with a leaky hull. But let me try to articulate me words so that you can visualize it. Long ago, me crew aboard the Destiny's Bounty, the finest ship ever built.'' Soto explained.

''Save one other: Misfortune's Keep. Nadakhan the Djinn was the most feared pirate of the high seas. Since he was from another realm, his powers were unmatched. He and his crew were always a step ahead.''

''The trick to catching a Djinn ain't be getting him into the vessel. It's making sure he don't poof away when you try to do it.'' The Pirate Captain finished.

''Ha! Easy. Just wish him into it.'' Kai replied.

''Easy? Everyone knows you can't wish for more wishes, you can't wish for love, and you can't wish to harm others. Wishing a Djinn into a teapot would most certainly fall into that category.'' He informed the ninja.

''What do you mean you can't wish for love?'' Jay asked, making the others look at him. ''What? I'm asking for a friend. Heh.''

''Don't let us stop you. You were just about to tell us how to catch a Djinn.'' Cole urged.

''Certainly. To stop a Djinn, you must—''

''Well, well, well. Looks like you saved us some seats. Now let's talk about those spare parts.'' The Mechanic spoke, slamming his metal fist onto the table.

''Not now, Sprocket Arm. We're dealing with first-tier bad guys here. You're fifth tier. Maybe fourth tier, tops.'' The Great Cake Devourer told him.

''Fourth tier?'' The Mechanic asked, holding up what looked to be a spoon.

''Look at that, pyjama people, they have all the weapons. And you are chained.'' Soto said, and laughed.

''Yeah. Sounds like it's almost a fair fight.'' Cole replied.

The two guards on duty watched the fight, with one eating an apple and the other dodging the food projectiles that came his way.

The guard holding an apple gave it to the other one, about to walk over and break up the food fight. ''Wait, don't break them up yet. I love me a good fight scene. Popcorn?'' He offered, getting a box of popcorn out of nowhere.

''Oh, in that case...'' The other guard said.

(Y/n) leapt onto the Giant Stone Warrior's back, climbing onto its head and used it as a lookout to search for Zane.

''Where's Zane? I don't see Zane.'' Lloyd told the others.

''I see him!'' (Y/n) called out, jumping off the Giant Stone Warrior's head, and used a few fellow prisoner's heads as stepping stones as she descended.

The Mechanic and a few others pinned Zane down. ''I told them I'd get my hands on you. Oh. Look at all those spare parts.'' He said.

''For the glory of ham sandwiches!'' (Y/n) cried out, using her tray as a weapon to hit the Mechanic, knocking him down. Remo used his own tray to do the same, felling the person who helped pin Zane down.

''Thank you (Y/n), and Remo,'' Zane said with a warm smile, quickly fixing himself up.

''Finish what you were gonna say. You said you knew how to catch Nadakhan.'' Lloyd said to Soto, in the middle of the fighting.

''The only way to slow a Djinn long enough to catch one is with the venom of a Tiger Widow. One drop is strong enough to kill a man or tire a Djinn, so he don't be poofing around.'' The Pirate Captain informed him.

''Tiger Widow? I've never even heard of one of those. Where do I find one?'' The Green Bean asked, confused.

''You don't. They be the rarest of creatures, indigenous to only one island that's found on no map, but me own.'' Soto replied.

''Then where's your map?'' Spice Boy questioned.

''All right, lunch crew, serve them up!'' The Cafeteria Lady said, wheeling in a cart full of muffins. They started throwing muffins, with Chamille catching two and pelting (Y/n) with the muffins, while the Master of Illusion put her hands up in front of her face to block the attack.

''Uh, no more popcorn. I guess we should do our jobs.'' The guard said, finishing his box of popcorn and chucked it away.

''The fun is over! No dessert for you. Take them back to their cells.'' Said the other guard.

''Not the Ninja. They go to the hole for starting this mess.'' Noble told the guard.

''Wait! Tell us where the map is. Soto!'' Lloyd shouted after the pirate captain as they were led away to the hole.

''Break me out of this place and I'll tell you. You want the map? I want me freedom. Speaking of which, can anyone tell me where my leg is?'' Soto asked, realising his fork peg leg replacement was gone.

''I guess we could try to find this Tiger Widow on our own. In eight to ten years.'' Kai told the others.

''I cannot be in this prison with my sister for long or I'll go crazy...'' (Y/n) replied.

''Or we could bust out of here tonight and take Soto with us,'' Lloyd said, after sneakily putting a plastic fork in his pocket.

The ninja sat in the hole, chained to the walls.

Jay sighed. ''This has to literally be our lowest point. We're in a hole. Rock bottom.''

''On the bright side, if we were never arrested, we never would've talked to Captain Soto,'' Nya replied.

''If only we could use our powers again,'' Zane replied, looking up at the barred ceiling.

''First thing's first,'' Lloyd said, pulling out a plastic fork.

''A fork? What are we gonna do, eat our way out?'' The Earth Ninja asked.

The Green Ninja used the fork to pick his cuff's lock. ''I was thinking, something else.'' He then used his energy to break the others.

''Great, we got our powers back. Now, how do we get out of this hole?'' The Lightning Ninja asked the others.

''Cole will escape through the bars. Then he'll figure out a way to free the rest of us.'' Cole floated up going through the bars of the ceiling, and the Earth Ninja used his strength to break the lock and the others used Airjitzu get out of the hole.

''Once we escape the hole, we find Soto. Jay, make sure we're not seen.'' Lloyd told him, and the Lighting Ninja used his powers to break the security cameras.

Suddenly, Chamille appeared, holding something in her hands. The group stopped, unsure as to what to do next. Without a word, she handed it to (Y/n), and she looked at it to see her (b/s) necklace.

''Now don't lose it.'' Her sister told her, before turning and running back to her cell.

''That's unusual.'' The Master of Illusion said, and there was a moment of silence. ''Okay, let's continue.''

Kai used his Fire to melt the bars of Soto's cell. ''Come with me, quietly,'' Kai told the pirate captain in a whisper. Soto got up, his leg replaced with a honking horn. ''Are you kidding me?''

''Once we have Soto, Zane will make sure we're not followed,'' Lloyd said, and Zane used his ice on the ground, making the floor slippery.

''(Y/n) can use her illusions to hide the hole we made.'' The Green Bean said as (Y/n) made the hole in the wall seemingly disappear.

''Since they'll have the main doors well guarded, we'll need to make our exit through the sewer pipes.''

''Sewer pipes?'' Jay asked. ''Argh, gross.''

''If we're spotted, Nya, help us make a quick getaway.'' The Water Ninja used her powers to create a water slide.

''We made it!'' Jay said as they cheered.

Soto kissed the charcoal-coloured sands. ''Thank you, pyjama people.''

''All right, Soto. We held up our part of the bargain, now you hold up yours. Where's the map?'' Hotheaded Porcupine asked.

''The map's hidden within a lantern. Light its candle and it'll show you the way.'' The Pirate Captain replied.

''Then where's the lantern?'' Jay asked. ''Gosh, all you pirates are so long-winded.''

''Ah, it'd be our nature. We can't refuse a good treasure hunt.'' Soto told him.

''Where's the lantern, Soto?'' Lloyd questioned.

''That's the tricky part. It's aboard his ship, Misfortune's Keep.'' The Honking Horn peg leg Pirate Captain replied.

''Ugh, Nadakhan's ship?'' The Earth Ninja asked. ''I thought we said we were trying to avoid that guy.''

''I never said it was going to be easy. Good luck, and may the winds always be in your sails. Wait, I suddenly remember why you look so familiar.'' Soto said, laughing as he realised. ''Oh, my, that be a charm! By word, you're a spitting image of her.'' He told Nya.

''Of who?'' Nya questioned.

''Dilara, Nadakhan's first and only love.''

Oh look at that, I've finally finished a chapter in less than 2 weeks.
