After Jade's conversation with her mom, we went upstairs to talk. "I hope my parents will let me battle the gym leaders," said Jade. "It would be so AWESOME!!" "I know!" I replied. "Alright," said Jade, "I'm tired. Goodnight."

The next day, we talked for hours about how fun it would be to challenge the gym leaders. At around 4:30 we heard the door open. We heard Jade's mom talking to someone who I presumed was Jade's father.
We couldn't hear what they were saying, but after about twenty minutes we heard them walk upstairs. They both walked into Jade's room. "Jade," the man said, "your mother and I have made a decision." I held my breath, awaiting his answer.

"We will let you go on a journey to capture pokemon and battle gym leaders. Professor Juniper has been trying to find someone to help her complete the pokedex. Tomorrow your mother will take you to Nuvema town. You'll meet Professor Juniper at her lab and she will give you a pokedex. You can battle gym leaders, catch pokemon, and even trade pokemon. Just don't get into trouble or do anything dangerous."

Jade smiled and thanked her parents. I was so happy! I could make new friends, battle against a bunch of different pokemon, and maybe even evolve!

Evovle. Evolution. Evolution stones. The evolution stones I got for my birthday! I still had them with me when the human made me leave the house. I hid them. I need to find them before we leave.

Once I was sure that Jade was asleep, I unlocked the window and snuck out. I remembered that I hid the stones in an alley by the Casteliacone stand on Mode Street. Luckily, Jade lived close to Mode Street, so it only took me a few minutes to reach the alley.
It didn't take much time to find the spot where I hid the box. It was behind some loose bricks in an old building that was never refurbished. I saw the dusty, smudged glass box, right where I left it. I could see the evolution stones in the box. As I gently lifted the box from its hiding spot, I saw a shadow cast upon the spot I was standing in. I turned around, but there was nothing behind me.

It was probably just my imagination. Not many pokemon would be out here this late. I started to walk back home, but I felt like someone was watching me. I looked behind me again, and I saw...

A Vanillite! I laughed at myself for being so scared. It was just a cute little Vanillite. "Hello," I said. "I'm guessing you live at the Casteliacone stand. My name is Amber. What's your name?" "My name is Krysta," the Vanillite replied. "Sorry for following you. I just wanted to know why you were in that alley."

"I was just looking for something I left there a while ago," I replied. "I need to get back home in case Jade wakes up. Bye!"
