It was a dark night in the land of Arendelle and the king and queen were going as fast as they could to the docks. "Are we sure we should do this" the king asked his wife as he and the queen walked along to the docks to a empty space. "I'm sure you've seen what Elsa can already do I can not go threw this again" she said.

"But he's only a baby" he said. "I know and it pains me to do this but there's no choice we have to do this" she said looking at the sleeping baby in her arms. She placed him down on the ground and took out a white bean. "I'm sorry my child but this is the only way I know one day you Elsa and Anna will be reunited and I hope you get the family you deserve even if that's not from us" she said feeling a tear role down her cheek.

She tossed the bean onto the ground and a giant green portal open. "Goodbye winter" she said. The king picked the baby up and put him into the portal and quickly walked back. They stayed there and watched as the portal carrying there only son closed. "It's for the best" the king said.

"I know now we need to go to the rock trolls and wipe every memory of him from Elsa and Anna's minds" she said to her husband. He nodded and they left the docks.

The next day in the Enchanted Forrest while she was out hunting Red riding hood she heard crying in a field.

She ran over to it and saw a crying baby wrapped in a pale blue blanket in a pile of pale pink snow. "Hey there babe are you lost" she asked. The rubbed a finger against the baby's cheek. "Don't worry I'll take you home" she said.

She picked up the baby and wrapped him closely in the blanket. she saw a tag on the blanket that read Winter on it. "So your names winter don't worry I know what it's like without a mother or a father" she said smiling at the baby in her arms.

She walked from the field never taking her eyes off of Winter. when she got home she went inside and said "Granny we're home" she said smiling. She knew that her life would be changed forever and this was the day she gained a son
