Lillian grabbed a hold of Klaire's arm and dragged her through the mall as the young boy chased after them laughing. Klaire fumbled for her phone and sent a single text to the Fighters of the pack for help.

The girls were close to the escalater when an arm stretched out, out of no where, wrapping its self around Klaire's body and pulled her away from Lillian. A scream escaped her lips but before her friend could even react, the attacker was on the first floor with her flung over his shoulder.

He sent a single glance up to see the she-wolf's eyes. The color of them were shocking to him. He'd never seen a female alpha's eyes when they were angry. He could see the fire dancing in the molten gold. With a smirk he sent a whistle to the boy and then darted into the streets ignoring the screams of the girl on his shoulder.

A black SUV pulled to a screeching stop, the doors swinging open quick enough for the man to slide in. The moment he was in and had Klaire buckled in the vehicle took off. Klaire's eyes darted around her small environment and filled with fear as she counted four men smirking at her.

"Don't you look different Amberley."

"That's not who I-" Her words cut off the moment the man pointed a small hand gun at her head.

"I'm going to have fun seeing you bleed!"

"Enough Isaiah!" Glancing at the man next to Klaire, the guy put his gun away with a grunt.

"He's right, besides you know Leon wants her first."

"Yeah, yeah..." Isaiah shifted his body so his gaze was focused on the outside world.

"Look I am not this Juliette girl. You have the wrong person."

"I will cut off your tongue if you continue with your lies." Klaire stared at the man man next to her through blurry eyes and pulled her knees up to her chest. The hazel eyed man beside her sighed in annoyance and commanded the car to stop. In another language, he began barking out commands to his men and sent the door flying open. One by one his followers exited, the last one closing the door behind himself. Seconds later the vehicle was on the move.

"Where are we going?"

"It doesn't matter."

"I think it does. I am being a good girl considering the fact that I've been kidnapped. The least you could do is tell me where I am being taken."

"Where you are going does not matter, what matters is what happens at the-" Klaire felt the vehicle jerk slightly and then she heard a blood filled scream from outside. The driver pulled over and locked the doors as he exited the SUV. Klaire shoved her nose against the window to look outside but saw nothing. She turned around to ask what was going on but was interupted before she could even get her first word out. "Don't move." The man growled before leaving her alone. She waited in silence, tears streaming down her face as she heard screams and low growls all around her.

Looking again through her window, she fell back with a high pitched screech as a bloody face smashed through the glass and was pulled back with such force that his bones cracked as his body collided with the brick wall to the left of the vehicle. A low growl vibrated from within the shadows and Klaire began watching her life flash before her eyes. Suddenly she was falling as the door behind her flung open. A hand wrapped around her wrist and next thing she knew, her kidnapper was dragging her through a small alley.

When they were far enough in, he shoved her against the wall and forced himself against her. His lips smashed against hers causing her stomach shriveled up at the feeling at disgust. Fighting against her attacker, Klaire froze when she felt two sharp points graze against the tender skin of her neck. Time slowed down as the man breathed in her scent waiting to tare her apart. With a smirk he bit down hard forcing a deathly scream from Klaire's lips. Fire shot through her veins as the venom from her attacker carved it's way towards her heart. She used all her strength to push up but the longer his canines remained in her neck, the weaker she grew.

"I'm going to kill you!" Her attacker froze as presence appeared behind him. Darting his eyes to the side, fierce gold eyes glowed bright with anger. He swung hard but his efforts were worthless as the man caught his arm with ease. Klaire took that moment and shoved him one more time, finally gaining her freedom.

Her legs gave out on her and she collapsed to the ground as her attacker was thrown against the wall. The new man grabbed his head and smashed it into the wall multiple times before grabbing it with both hands and twisted hard enough for Klaire to hear. When the man turned around she froze. Slowly he stalked up and paused before her. She opened her mouth the scream but had no chance to as he grabbed her arm and pulled her against him. His scent wrapped around her like a blanket allowing her body to relax and her heart beat to calm down. "Damien..."

"This is going to hurt."

"What?" Damien opened his mouth, his canines piercing her view, and bite down hard over the previous wolf's mark. He felt her body go limp as his own poisonous saliva raged through her veins tearing everything in its path to shreds. The glee exploding through him was crazy, his wolf had never been so happy.

Crying out, Klaire's body shook as a crushing feeling took over her heart and sucked out all the air from her lungs. Klaire pushed weakly at her mate but her arms fell from the pain. Darkness reached out for her, and took her away from the violence of the world in a matter of seconds.

Damien slid the covers over his mates body and left the room before his wolf could cause more problems. He moved to his office, not surprised in the slightest bit to see his younger sister pacing back and forth. She looked up and swung at him. Pulling back slightly he missed the swing and darted underneith her heading towards his desk.

"How dare you!"

"Go away, I have business to attend to."

"You marked her! You didn't let even let her have her say in the matter!"

"I was not about to let another wolf have her. Marking her was the only way to save her from the venom of that omega."

"Rayce could have done it medically."

"It was going to happen eventually. I need her to keep reign, so in the end I would have had to force the mark on her, especially if she continued to avoid me."

"That's why you want her? Just to have power over a pack that doesn't you?" She shouted out in rage.

"My reasons are none of your concern. What you should be focused on is why those men went after her in the first place."

"That doesn't matter!"

"Your best friend was kidnapped right in front of you and then bit by another wolf and you say it doesn't matter?"

"It was a mistake, they confused her for another girl, but it's over with and now we are on the subject of you marking her."

"Lillian, you shouldn't be angry about this. The mark will keep her more safe then before, I will be alerted the moment something goes wrong and I can save her. But it doesn't matter because it is clear you do not have the power to keep her safe so now she is never leaving this place."

"You can't just make her a prisoner!"

"Watch me." He challenged.

"Damien..." Lillian growled as her wolf forced itself to the surface. Loosing all her control, gold eyes faced the alpha and she lunged foward. Damien pushed himself out of the way and swung. Lillian's reflex's clicked on and she dodged with ease. She waited for a second and kicked at his side making the connection for a slight moment before he slid past her and shifted. She smirked with a mouth full of canines and followed his actions. A low growl radiated from Damiens large frame in warning but Lillian ignored it and jumped at him. He rolled away swiping at the bare belly, but missed as she twisted her body and slid towards the back of the room. Damien stood up and stalked forward as he licked his lips with a snarl.

He was about to pounce on her when the door flung open revealing two men on the other side. Lillian took the opertunity of the distraction and swatted at her brother. The hit sent blood flying from his cheek and onto the carpet. Damien froze trying to control his anger before he did something he would regret.

Walking in slowly, the guys eyed the she-wolf with suspicion and sat down on the chairs switching their sights to the black wolf behind them. Damien sent a link to his sister and watched with caution as she left the room leaving the men alone. Shifting back quickly, the alpha changed into the extra clothes in the small closet by the doors and then took his seat behind his desk.

"I apologize for the little scene you guys walked in on, my little sister can be stubborn some times."

"It is no problem," the taller of the two brunnet wolves said, "But we have come with the information you requested."

"Good, what did you discover?"

"What are you so happy about?" Rayce asked as Lillian marched into her brothers room with a grin on her face.

"I taught my brother a lesson, that's what I'm happy about!"

"What did you do Lillian?" Victoria sighed as she removed the beeping thermometer from Klaire's lips. She handed it over to her mate, and he began jotting down the numbers on a piece of paper.

"I challenged my brother and got the upper hand. That's me one and him zero! I gave him a good sized gash too, right in the face!"

"Lillian!"

"I ain't scared! He won't kill me."

"How do you know that?"

"Klaire already hates him, do you really think he wants her to despise him?"

"Lillian, you do realize that now that she's been marked, she won't be able to deny your brother for to much longer. Her body is going to want to finish the mating process, and the longer she resists the worst it's gonna get. And I'm telling you she is only going to want one person, and every time it happens she only going to want more afterwards. Klaire will eventually give in."

"You two apparently don't know her like I do."

"You cannot deny the mark Lill," Victoria whispered as Klaire began to stir, "Trust me on this."

"Klaire can and she will!"

"Lillian..."

"Enough, Klaire needs some silence if she is going to recover from her fever." Rayce packed up his medical tools and exited the room with his mate next to him. Smiling softly, Lillian locked the door, and then waddled under the covers so she was next to her friend.

"You know what you need," she whispered as she tucked a stand of hair behind Klaire's ear, "You need some drama. I know deep down inside you love the juicieness of it, and your just in luck because I got something for you. So you remember how at my party I was dancing with that British guy, well I had actually enjoyed it.

"I learned some things about him, like his name is Alexander and in his free time he loves to read and paint. He told me his role model was and still is Van Gough, and that he hopes he will be able to paint as good as him one day. He told me Britain is quiet beautfiul, especially the country side where he and his pack thrive. I know he's not my mate, but there is something about him you know.

"Anyways a few days ago I received a call from an international number and I was so happy to hear his voice on the other end. He wants me to come visit him. You know I've never even been outside this state, so leaving the country would be huge.

"You and I could go together. Once you wake up we can pack our bags and head out, just you and me! I bet you'd like that. I would. Oh and hey, Felix got back last night. His mate is really pretty. Long strawberry blonde hair that goes down to her waist. She has really pretty eyes to. Their hazel with some blue in them. She just needs to be a little taller. With Felix being a solid six three and her being shorter then me is sorta funny. But I can already tell the guy is smitten with her. I've never seen that man acting like such a gentleman. He doesn't even act that way with you, though I know your guy's relationship is a while different story.

"Don't worry though, I talked to her about you. Told her that she will see you guys together a lot but that there will be no reason to worry. He's your best guy friend after all. Look I'm really sorry. I promised years ago that I would always keep you safe and now look. Your stuck in bed, marked by a man that doesn't deserve you. Can I tell you something? No one knows this, so you have to promise not to tell. In all reality, I think that your situation is-" The door nob began to rattle interrupting Lillian in the middle of her speech. She turned slowly and waited till the person began to pound on the door before she got up. "What?" She snapped as the opened.

"I was told to check up on our Luna." Lillian profiled the older man in front of her before moving a step in order for the guy to enter. She watched from a distance as the wolf began examining her friend. He jotted down some notes on his hand and then left with a smile on his face. When he was out of sight, Lillian slammed the door shut and went back to her friend.

She was about to start her speech over when Klaire began mumbling words in her sleep.

"White...Blood...So much...Eric...Save...NO!" Klaire shot up from the bed, her eyes as blue as ice. She looked around in desperation but found the person she was looking for was no where to be seen. Her eyes eventually spotted the girl next to her. Both of them remained quiet, until the door at the front of the room was swung open.

Klaire directed her eyes to the mountain of a man walking in and cringed back. With a sob she jumped out of her bed and began throwing punches, "WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HIM!" She shrieked. Damien stared at her in shock with no clue about who she was talking about. "Where is he? Where is Eric? What do to him and the rest of them? Tell me! Tell me now-" Her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she collapsed, her consciousness fading away as quick as it came. With a sigh, Damien picked her up and carried her body back to his bed.

"What was that?" Lillian whispered.

"You're the one who has been in here, not me."

"I...I don't know. I was talking to her, then Mark's father came in, and the moment I got back on bed she began mumbling in her sleep about a guy named Eric with white blood who needed to be saved."

"You should leave. "

"After that shit? Hell no!"

"I am tired and want to take a nap, you are in my spot, and with the human's condition, I really don't want to leave her alone."

"The humans name is Klaire."

"What ever... now leave, if she wakes I will have you called so you can deal with her."

"Don't bother, I'll be checking in!" Lillian growled as she removed herself off the bed. Once the door clicked in place, Damien say down next to his mate and being taking her in. She really was beautiful for a human. He loved the darkness of her blue eyes, the way they would flare when she grew lost control of her anger. Or the way her nose would twitch when a smell she didn't like would be present. She really was something.

"Enough Damien." He growled to himself as he began pulling off his grey T. She was a human, and humans are monsters, Damien knew he couldn't fall for her. He made that promise a long time ago, he would never let a human near his pack. Mate or not, he needed a way to separate her from everyone else.

With cautious movements, Damien crawled into his bed and laid on his side of the bed leaving space between himself and Klaire. With one last glance at his mate, Damien closed his eyes and fell asleep with her scent consuming his inner beast.

A/N: So any guesses to who Amberley Juliette is or why the little boy wanted her dead? What about Eric? Do you think this guy is out there and needs to be saved? We will see...

Also I would say it's about time for Damien to start being a little nice, wouldn't you? I guess you will have to continue reading to see if he does have a change of heart or not!
