A/N: I know this wasn't requested. But I felt this should be written. I strongly dislike Akainu, but I still think he's hot as fuck. So here's to my Akainu haters out there. If you like him I'll CONSIDER writing one. (Squints) maybe..... oh. Silly me, Dead girl walking (reprise) that's why the... you get it.

(Akainu x Reader) x Kuzan (slight)

You dropped to your knees. Eyes watering, as you clutched to the paper. You bit your lip as you stifled to cry. Your eyes scanned the paper, 'Portgas D. Ace Dead after the War with Whitebeard.' You wailed dropping to the floor hunching over the paper and sobbing. You should of been there, you should of. An aching feeling dwelled in your stomach. He promised he wouldn't. You perked up, you looked out to the horizon.

"You promised." You muttered.

Tears still ran down your cheeks, your heart broken, and your mind angered. You were Portgas D. (Y/N). Ace's sister. Well not really. He adopted you and you followed him everywhere when you were kids. Luffy and Sabo accepted you but. You became a marine. Making Garp be proud of at least one of his grandkids. So. When you all reached the age of seventeen. You all headed down your own paths. You ran into Luffy and Ace along the way. But. You fell in love. Or, so you thought. We're married in fact. You earned his attention since you were as scary and bossy as he was. But. You were still delicate and kind. He sent you away to a mission two months ago. Since he knew about the war and never told you. Knowing, you would try to stop him.

You glanced to the paper once more. Noticing, He, had become fleet admiral. You glanced back to the horizon, your talons ripped into the paper as your form grew. The crew cried out for everyone to back away. You cried out to the sea, having an eagle cry ring throughout the seas. The crew grew worried seeing the griffin, their captain so angered by this point. That you had to resort to your devil fruit. You growled as a lion roar broke out.

"Akainu!" You cried.

The ship docked to Marine ford. You stepped off swinging your wedding ring around on a chain. It spun around your finger as your eyes were dark and terrifying. You had feathers and your hair was taller and longer the usual. You were riled up. And pissed. They saw. The marines that watched you step up on the deck.

"I wanted someone strong who could protect me." You muttered to yourself, "I let his anger fester and infect me. His solution is a lie, no one should of died. Expect for me and the monster I have married."

You walked into the building, your eyes changed into the lions golden eyes.

"Heads up Kuzan, I'm a dead girl walking." You cried.

You made your way up to the office. Each of the marines that came across you scattered and scrambled away. Your heels tapped up the stairs before you got to a set of double doors. Two marines stood outside they glanced to each other before back to you.

"Let me see, my husband." You hissed.

They didn't hesitate opening the doors to a hallway. Your eyes narrowed to his office door as you walked down to the door. Your hair going back to its normal length, feathers retreating back into your skin and eyes back to there normal (E/C) color. You took a breath before opening the doors.

"Why'd you do it?" You asked.

He perked up to you, "(Y/N)."

"Answer me Akainu."

Your voice was soft, but. Your words were sharp and venomous. He knew, when you were upset. His real name wouldn't escape your lips.

"It had to be done." He said.

"You killed my brother. That's all you can say to me? Your WIFE!"

He sighed, "What else was I supposed to do? Kill you too?"

"Yes, I deserve to die next to my brother. I'm Roger's kid too."

"I have DNA proof you are not."

"Why?! You promised if anything happened in that war you wouldn't of let anyone hurt my brothers."

"I kept my promise!" He banged his hand on the table, "I didn't let anyone hurt them.  But you didn't say I had to-"

"Your a cruel man. For a while I thought you loved me. But now I see what Kuzan was really talking about. He warned me."

"Kuzan was a loon and a lazy man. And I do-"

"I wish Kuzan was a little stronger, I wish he stayed around a little longer. I wish Sengoku was good, I wish Marines understood. I wish we had met before they convinced you, life is war. I wish you'd listen to me." You cried.

The room was quiet before you reached up and grabbed your coat. You threw it onto the floor earning his attention. Then you tossed him the ring.

"I'm leaving, I hope your happy where you are. Sakazuki."

"If you step out that door I'll make sure your face is never seen here again!" He spat.

You smiled softly giving a breathless chuckle. Then you turned and left. Leaving the fleet admiral to himself glancing down to the large rock that fit on your dainty hand.

And that brings you to today. You sat outside your small cottage, rocking in your rocking chair. Smoking a cigarette, and wearing only a large v neck t shirt. Obviously wasn't yours. It was early morning, the sun shining through the trees, and a paper dropped down onto the porch. You perked up to it and got up. You walked over to it picking it up and unfolding it. You gasped with a large smile on your face.

"Kuzan!" You cried.

After a moment, the door had opened. Out stepped the dark skinned man. In his boxers and groaned to the morning light. He sighed a breath of cool air as you glanced up to him.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I just thought you should be the first to know." You hummed.

Handing over the paper to the man he grumbled. First he yawned as his eyes scanned the paper. His eyes widened slightly as a smirk spread across his face.

"Well I'll be damned."

'(Y/N) and Fleet Admiral Akainu has been officially divorced. What will he do now? Where is she now?' He dropped the paper as you two embraced giving soft kisses. He held you up on his hips as you pulled away giggling.

"What should we do to celebrate?" He hummed.

"Take this dead girl walking." You hummed back booping his nose.
