Annika was sitting leaning to a door, legs held to her chest with her hands circled around the legs and her head leaning back, resting on the wooden door frame. DROP. A tear drop fell down her right eye but she didn't wipe it off, but another set of tears started to volunteer after one another. She let them travel down her cheeks while she started to sob and whimper. She buried her head between her legs and cried hard until.... until what? Until her pain subsides away? Until her pains drew away from her? Until her heart and soul mend back? Until what? She didn't knew... she cried hard, and harder, and harder, and harder.... she shook her face up staring at the ceiling still letting her tears run down, like they were racing each to reach first. Sh cupped her mouth with her right hand to stop her sobs. She bit her palm to stop her cries and screams...her exterior screams and cries could be stopped but what about her internal pains that were caused to her heart, soul and dignity.... those pains couldn't finish. She leaned on the floor after she slowly locked her door, so that no one could enter in. She rested her head on the cold wooden floor as another tear drop fell from her eyes to the ground, letting it know how much pain she was in. She banged her fist on the floor, hard, as she cried and shouted loudly....

A: Aaaahhhhhhhh

She shouted and again banged her first on the floor, causing it to bleed a little. She banged her head on the hard floor a few times.... she cried as she recalled the past days happenings at her college. She cried more... and more... and more until her soul and heart were at peace. But unfortunately they couldn't after whatever they bore.

A: Whyyyyyyyyyy..... ugggghhhhhhhh...... why meee..... whyyyyyyyyy

She cried loudly speaking these words. She cried more as all the past came right in front of her eyes....

***FLASHBACK...***

Annika was standing in her college hallway with her bag and texting in her phone, laughing , when a gang of boys approached her. One of the boys, who was the leader of the group, Vicky, stood in front of her and smirked while Annika stood confused and clueless.

V: Look boys a new bomb in school. Hey sexy your name....

He said while touching her hand when Annika pulled his hand and twisted it behind his back, getting a moan in return.

A: What do you think that I'm that simple looking girl who you will call with shitty names and I will listen to you like a behenji and you will be privileged to do anything you fucking want. Listen to me you asshole, get out of my sight or else you won't be seen in this whole college... no no this whole world. Bloody arrogant jerk... fuck off you bastard.

Saying this she released his hand while Vicky immediately started to blow on it. His friends were gawking at her as if she was an alien. Annika glared the gang and left that place cursing those boys, especially Vicky. While Vicky on the other side, was taken aback by the bold gesture of a girl. But what instigated him was that a girl talked to him in that shitty language... him... Vicky Grewal... he looked at Annika's retreating figure with anger and embarrassment. He felt angry upon a girl back answering him, which surely hurt his big fat manly ego. He likes behind to see his gang of boys silently laughing at what just happen Ed few minutes ago. He felt insult. He turned back to face him gang, only to be glaring at them. Those boys stopped their acts scared by their leader's angry eyes. Vicky started walking, followed by his 'chamchas😂'.... while walking, the flashback of Annika and his conversation recently constantly came in front of his eyes. He started getting angry.

V(in mind): How dare that bloody loser insult me like that. What does she fucking think of herself. She is a girl and was showing me, Vicky Grewal attitude. This is the first time someone has insulted me. Even my parents never dare to say anything to me and this roadside trash decided to bash me. I will take my revenge from her. She will pay for the insult and embarrassment I faced in front of these losers because of her. Then only she will know that girls are just meant to dance on our tunes and pleasure us. They are not capable of anything more than this. Get ready Ms. Whoever. Your bad time starts now. In these 3 days I will ruin this bloody clean image of yours and you will come to me begging for your life and dignity. You will pay hard bitch.

He sulked while saying all this to himself. He entered his class when he saw the same girl sitting and laughing on a joke the person sitting beside her just cracked. He got angry seeing her sitting all cool after insulting him. Annika who was laughing accidentally moved her gaze from her friend to the boy and his gang standing at the door. She made a disgusting face seeing those same boys. She mumbled some bad words and the again shifted her sight from those boys to her friends, trying to distract herself. Vicky who noticed all this, walked up to the desk behind Annika's. He sat there when he saw a boy sitting beside her and intertwining their hands together. He immediately guessed that boy to be Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Of course who wouldn't know him. After all he is the son of a multimillionaire and has had his photos on the magazine with his family many times. He was free ling more jealousy and agony when he saw Annika smiling at Shivaay and giving him a cheek kiss.

'How dare she reject me and go to him. Bloody bitch now you will see who I really am'

He cursed her. The professor entered the class and later, the class ended. Annika and Shivaay walked out of the class and sat on a bench, outside in the garden.

If you guys are confused about them then let me inform you that Shivaay and Annika are a couple and are dating each other since 5 years. Their families; Oberoi's and Goenka's are family friends since ages and so are Shivika. Both got engaged last year which was a silent affair between the two families, and soon are getting married after their college gets over, exactly after 5 months.

Their family Shivaay knew something disturbed Annika. He asked Annika about the problem when she started explaining about the morning incident with Vicky. Upon hearing that, Shivaay got furious and clenched his hand in a fist. Annika rubbed his back to calm him down.

S: I'm proud of you my lady that you showed that bastard his true place. This is one of the main qualities I love you for.

Saying this Shivaay kissed Annikas cheek to which she responded him back with a double cheek kiss.

A: Well Shivaay leave him. Actually tonight I'm going to the club with Ragini.

S: What you are going with Ragini. Annika I told you I don't like her. She always steals yo u away from me. Whenever you both are together, you just forget me. She is like a third wheel in our love story.

Shivaay spoke all this with a pout. Annika smiles at her love's cuteness and pulled his cheeks to which Shivaay laughed.

A: Shiv she is my bestie. And you don't need to be jealous okay because she is my bestirs but you are my life. So no one can take your place in my heart. It is forever reserved only for you. Ok let's leave for our class or else we will be late.

Shivaay nodded and they both left for their net class, not noticing a pair of eyes who WTA he's and Laurent's their conversation and was smirking Emily. The person came out from his binding spot and was revealed to be Vicky.

V: Wow... this bitch made my plan easier. Now get ready for your destruction Ms Annika. You will be ruined tonight and will never be able to show your fucking face to the world.

Vicky said all this laughing evilly you himself.

9:00 pm, Dream-night Club...

Annika and her bestie Ragini were gulping some shots and laughing together. They were discussing about Shivika marriage and being all excited about it. Ragini who wanted to use the restroom excused herself and left from there. Annika asked the bartender for another shot. She was scrolling through her phone and then gulped the shot kept in front of her. She kept her phone on the table feeling some intoxication and weird sensations throughout her body. She got up holding her head to got the washroom and was about to enter when suddenly a hand pulled her away, keeping a hand on her mouth and took her to some corner. The person turned Annika to himself and the face was shown to be Vicky's. He smirked as Annika was all numb due to the drug he put in Annika's drink. (Guys the drug used here are often called 'rape drugs' as they make a person who consumed it unconscious of their surroundings and can induce confusion, weakness and unconsciousness.)

Vicky smirked as part 1 of his plan was successful. He opened his phone and turned on the video recording on selfie mode. Annika on the other hand was unconscious about her surroundings, not able to restrain herself from Vicky's hold. She was numb. Vicky set the camera in his hand and smirked towards Annika. He pulled her face closer to his and then put his lips on her's, kissing her furiously, while recording it. He pinched Annika's arm when Annika slightly opened her mouth and he entered his tongue inside her mouth. After a few minutes, he left her and stopped the recording. He kept his phone in his pocket and made an unconscious Annika sit outside the girls washroom and quickly snuck out of there, laughing on the success of his plan. Ragini who came outside saw Annika unconsciously sitting on the floor and went up to her. She asked for some water from a person and gently sprinkled it on her face. Annika twitches her eyes and slowly opened them. She saw herself sitting on the floor and a scared Ragini beside her. Ragini slowly helped Annika get up and left form their to her apartment, not wanting Annika's family to stress unnecessarily.

Next day, at college...

Annika was sitting in the library, deep in her thoughts about what happened last night at the club. She didn't knew how she ended up fainting when she only drank a little. Still thinking, when she sensed someone sitting in front of her. She looked at the person to see a smirking Vicky. She got furious and was about to shout at him when he placed a phone recording in front of her.

V: Gake a look, it's some really interesting stuff you know. You will be shocked seeing it.

Annika who was confused picked up the phone and and the video in front of her shook her completely. Her hands trembled, her face was pale. Her feelings couldn't be described. She looked up to meet Vicky's face who was smirking constantly.

A(trembling voice): What is this?

V: You don't know. Don't worry I will tell you this is called a kiss.

A: How.... How did you.... I know I know this is fake.. you morphed it.

V: Do you think I'm such a weak player babe. No this footage is real and was taken last night when you u were at club. I intoxicated you by adding some drugs in your drink and then recorded this. Ya I just had to add some moaning sound effects. You know so that it would look kinda real. Isn't it some fun stuff.

He scooted closer to Annika.

V: You remember what you did with me yesterday. This is my revenge bitch. Now I will post this on social media and it will go viral like this *he snapped his fingers* and then your image will be ruined. Oh so sad. But... ummm. I think I have an option. Maybe I will not leak this but only if.....

A: Please Vicky Please dont viral this please. I beg you. Please.

V: Hmmmm.... ok I will not but only on one condition.

Annika was confused and scared. Vicky held her cheeks tightly and spoke.

V: You have to sleep with me for one night. You know like a one night stand. That's all little bitch. Just one night and you will be saved form humiliation. Now you choose what do you want; Public humiliation or a night with me.

Annika was shocked to hear this from his mouth. She felt her world crashing. Words couldn't come out of her mouth.

V: Ok don't worry. I will give you today evening's time. Tell me your decision in the evening and if it's a yes then we will straight away go to my house. Ok bitch. See ya.

Vicky said walking out of the library leaving a devastated Annika behind. While going out he looked back to see a broken Annika and smiled.

V(in mind): I know little kitten that you will choose saving ur self from humiliation. Get really little butch to be fucked by me.

Annika silently got up and left the college without informing anyone and went to Ragini's apartment as she had the keys with her. She went to a room and locked herself up.

***FLASHBACK ENDS...***

Somewhere in a mansion, a man was watching news when suddenly a news occupied his eyes.

News Reporter: Breaking News, a girl in her early 20's jumped off the 7th floor balcony in Skyheights Apartments. The ambulance has been called and the girl has been taken to the hospital. It looks like a case of suicide. The girl is suspected to be Annika Goenka, daughter of the business man; Anirudh Goenka and Kamya Goenka. The girl is a close friend of the owner of the apartment. Stay tuned for more updates.

The remote fell off the man's hand when a phone call interrupted him. He saw Ragini's number and picked it up.

R(crying): Uncle Uncle please come to City Hospital. Uncle Annika...... Annika she.... Uncle please come fast....

The man was shaken. A Walkman came from inside hearing some noise only to be confused by seeing her husband standing numb.

K: Anirudh what happened. And do you know why Annika is not picking up the call. I'm calling her since 20 minutes.

Seeing him not responding, she shakes him a little. Not getting any answers she moved her gaze to the news which were reaping whatever they just said a few minutes ago. Upon hearing it, the woman stood shocked.

K: Annika... no no this is fake news only for publicity.... Anirudh say something.

An: We has to leave for the hospital come fast...

Both parents were shocked. They spoke nothing but rushed to the hospital. This was also informed to the Oberoi's who also immediately rushed to the hospital.

City Hospital...

Annika's parents rushed inside running when they saw Ragini sitting numbly on the bench outside. They ran towards her. Ragini who saw them coming ran towards Anirudh and hugged him tightly, crying uncontrollably and loudly.

R: Uncle Annika.....

K: Ragini where is Annika. Is she fine? What was that in the news. Tell me it's all fake right.

Ragini was about to answer when Oberoi's entered, with Shivaay running and crying. He went to Ragini and started shouting and asking questions form her.

S: Ragini where is Annika? Is she fine? Tell m that news is fake? I know it's fake bcz yesterday she was fine.... I know it's all your and your friend's plan to disturb all of us but tell her that s this is a really bad prank. Why cant you say something dam it? I'm asking something...

R(crying): It's true Shivaay. Anni jumped from the balcony. I never knew she went to my apartment. When I came this afternoon, I saw some crowd near the ground right above my balcony and it was Annika.... I don't know what happened... but .... but.....

Pinky took Ragini into a hug while she herself was shocked. Shivaay stumbles back a bit only to be held by OmRu while Tej and Shakti supported Anirudh and Jahnvi gave her hand to Kamya who was standing their numb. Just then the doctor made its appearance.

D: Are you guys the patient's family?

All: Yes

D: Well it's a suicide case. I don't know what problem she was going through but she jumped from a very high point. It has affected her internally severely. Her left kidney has been damaged while her legs, right arm and neck is fractured very badly. But.....

S: But???

D: But we are scared if there is a brain injury. Because due to fall from such a height, the brain often gets damaged and this is why we are scared. Right now we can't do the CT Scan as she is critical and if we get late in doing it then her brain can be damaged more and it can cause her to fall in coma, most probably, if there is something. And we are 75% sure about a severe brain injury. Well, right now we have cleaned and done the stitches but still she needs time to heal and is still critical for 8 hours. If she gets stable then we will go for some scans and tests.

Hearing this, the family collapsed. Shivaay feel on the ground crying loudly. Annika's dad stumbled back and sat on the chair with a thud while the ladies were crying and the men were shocked. Anirudh opened his phone to call someone when he saw a notification. He opened it to only see some recording sent by Annika. He put it on speaker for everyone to listen.

A: Dada.... I'm sorry Dad for what I am doing right now. But I don't have a choice. I'm stuck dad. Your princess is stuck and I can't get out of this web. I failed Dad I failed. You princess failed DADDA... I'm sorry for what everything I did but it was not intentional. I don't want you to face any sort of humiliation because of me. I don't want my proud Dada's face to be hung low. So I'm leaving this world. I'm sorry for taking such a big step but this is all I can think off. Sorry Mom, I'm sorry. Ragini my sissy, I know you will be here too crying for me but please don't cry, I don't want my bestie to cry and give me a farewell. Don't cry please and I'm sorry. Shivaay... I'm sorry Shiv... I'm sorry for doing this to you and ruining your life but ai can't live with this guilt anymore. Guilt of unknowingly cheating on you. I am trapped Shiv. You said that I'm a fighter but you were wrong bcz your Ani is a coward and she is leaving this world like a coward person. I'm sorry Shiv. I'm sorry everyone. I'm so sorry.

The families were in tears hearing this but Shivaay was confused when he heard some 'cheating and trapped' part. He needed to find out the truth.

2 hours later.

D: She is out of danger.

The family who heard this was happy.

D: But only externally. We did the brain scan and it has affected her brain. It has formed a blood clot . It's not a big one but still this could affect her speech and maybe memory loss even after we remove it. I don't want to keep your hopes high but in this case, the most severe thing is that she may fall in coma. I'm sorry.

The doctor went. Everyone felt miserable. It was when suddenly Shivaay's phone rang. The person on the call said something which made him furious. He angry threw his phone and walked away from there while the family stood their confused admist their tears. Anirudh who knew something was wrong went behind Shivaay.

Two more hours passed when the doctor came out from the O.R..... He gave the good news about the clot being taken out successfully to which everyone rejoiced. But he said them to wait for her to get her consciousness back.

A few hours later, Annika opened her eyes and closed them back again as the light hit her eyes sharply. She opened them again only to see her mother sitting beside her, caressing her head.

A(faintly): Mom....

K: Anu baby... finally you are awake...

She said while kissing her forehead and hand while Annika was in tears.

K: What was this stupidity. Haan. Is this what you gave us after we nurtured you for 26 years. Is this what we get Ani. You scared us to hell. And I'm very angry for that.

A: Mom... Mom I'm very sorry... but I didn't have a choice... I ..... I....

Just then a voice interrupted her. She looked towards the door to see Shivaay and her dad.

S: You did had a choice of sharing it with us but sadly you didn't bcz you don't think us as your family.

A: No Shiv I....

An: No princess Shivaay is right. That bastard did so much to you and you didn't try to inform us... don't we deserve to know about it. Don't you trust us....

A: No Dad I trust you all... it's just that I was scared Dada... I was scared to face you all after it... I couldn't bear it Dada. I couldn't see you getting ashamed of me and your reputation getting spoiled because of me.

An: You care about reputation but you don't care about how your parents will live without you. You don't care whether we die out of pain. Right.....

A: Dad plz don't say this.... I really didn't want this. Plz dad. I'm sorry....

Hearing this Anirudh took Annika in a hug and they both cried. Shivaay who saw this smiled with tears in his eyes. He was also about to go hug her when Annika stopped him.

A: I'm sorry Shivaay but after this I don't think I deserve you. I'm ruined Shivaay. I'm ruined. Forever. It will be better if we just call off this alliance.

S: Annika what are you saying. Do you really think so low of me. Annika you are my life, my world, my love, my everything. It was not your mistake okay and stop thinking that you are ruined. You are not bcz you are still that same old fierce Annika whom I got engaged too. And stop overthinking and also stop thinking that that bastard will upload the video bcz he is behind he bars now and has got lifetime imprisonment. And for once imagine what if I was in your place and this happened with me, would you still say the same thing. No right. So how do you expect me to say this.

Hearing all this Annika smiled and started crying while Shivaay hugged her. They both parted when Shivaay spoke again.

S: Always remember Annika, SELF DESTRUCTION IS NOT A SOLUTION go end all these problems. Okay....

Annika nodded and soon they all shared a family hug.
