Reading the blurb and the extract, the title suits the storyline perfectly. Also, I really like the title because it isn't a cliché. I've read a few werewolf books so don't get me started on the ridiculous titles I've come across. So well done. Seriously, it describes the book in a nutshell.

Cover: 10 / 10

Beautiful. I love the wolf that you've used. It looks majestic. It shows what genre it is, so nobody is under a misconception. When I saw the cover I was excited to read it and that is what a cover is supposed to do right? It's beautiful and elegant and because of the werewolf, it is connected to the story. The font is also beautiful. I love the cover!

Blurb: 9 / 10

Your blurb is just the right length and gives just the right amount of information. There were no errors in your blurb, however separate your paragraphs, to make it look more appealing. Sorry if I'm short on words, it's just, there is nothing to correct. After seeing the cover and reading the blurb I just wanted to dive right into this book. Really, it's astounding. Also loved the extract that I read. Although, I'm not there yet. It intrigued me very much.

Opening: 10 / 10 (Highest ever given)

From the first sentence, it swayed me into the book. I love how she is standing in front of the asylum at first. That just griped me. Again, sorry for being short on words. It's just. There is nothing to correct. There were no grammatical errors. It wasn't too short or too long. It gave me enough information to want to read on. I really enjoyed it.

Grammar: 19 / 20 (Highest mark I've ever given)

This is the highest mark I've ever given in the section. I even learnt something. (You already know what it is.) Not going to go in detail, because I already corrected you along the way. Just write out you numbers in words and also, stay in the past tense. But, your grammar is immaculate love.

Character Development: 14 /15 (Highest ever given!)

I only review the first five chapters, so there isn't any development, but there is the potential. She has a goal, there is future conflict that I can see. The feelings are realistic. Love your diversity going on with the main character, and might I say, I relate to her. Especially with the cat. I could feel her parents love for her and I enjoyed the banter between the parents and oh my, the grandparents humour over the video call and Karl's weirdness. I don't know if I love or hate him. All of this shows excellent character development and talent.

Plot: 9 /10 (Highest ever given)

This is the first original plot that I've ever come across. I'll definitely keep reading this gem. Your flow is perfect and it's not rushed at all. I love how it starts slow, because it gives me time to know your

characters. The consistency is really great it doesn't falter at all. No evident plot-holes. I also just love the concept you have going on.

Writing Style: 8 /10

I love your writing style, it flows just right. But you are lacking in some areas, but don't we all? First, your paragraphs are lengthy. It doesn't bother me at all, but it might to some readers and I saw that people complained about it in the comments. You description is also lacking. It is the boring part of writing I know, but it's crucial. Describe what the scenery looks like and what it makes there character feel. Also add to your character description. But overall, excellent.

If I wasn't clear enough, I ENJOYED THIS! I really did. So thank you so much for letting me review this hidden gem. It's one of my favourites.

My advice is, take my suggestions, edit your work one more time and avoid the review shops, instead go to the awards my love because you are set to go. Captivated has the potential to reach millions of reads if you give it time and maybe, consider self-publishing. I'd buy the paper-back version.
