Ragini dropped herself in her bed after a long and tiring day. The heavy weight dress she wore made it worse and all those makeup and jewels increased her headache.

"Ragini, get fresh up and sleep well, tomorrow you should look beautiful for that you need some good rest, no bride want to look stressed in her wedding day" Parvati said exiting form that room but not before locking the door from outside.

Ragini stood under the shower and let the cold water run through her skin. But they didn't even made her flinch. When she felt like her skin becoming numb because of cold water she came out and wore a simple yet beautiful chudithar

There was a smile in her face yet there is no happiness in her in her face. An unknown fear of doing something wrong kept bothering her. Opening the balcony door she went out and stood near the railing looking at the starts.

"Do you know Ragini, what is the brightest star I have ever seen? " he asked winking at her. "Don't know, Sirius A? That's the brightest one na?" she said and he smiled at her cute expression.

"No" he said and she pouted. "it's your eyes" he said tugging her hair strands behind her ears and she blushed hard.

Her phone beeped dragging her away from her thoughts. She took her mobile and read that message form a very known, unknown number.

'Want to talk with you, one last time' that message startled her for a second yet without thinking for a second time she typed 'okay' and pressed the send button

She made up her mind for this marriage after a long time and she didn't want to regret her decision later. For that she has to convince her heart too. And this meet is needed for that.

Suddenly he jumped into balcony she startled but relaxed when she saw his face. He looked different that day, that unshaven beard made him look more handsome to be presice. And she kept looking at his face without blinking her eyes.

"Hi Ragini" Laksh said with a fake smile. He tried but can't maintain that smile for that long. "hi Laksh" she said with same rection and again silence occupied that place.

"so, why are we silent now? We didn't have time Laksh, tell me why you asked to meet me?" Ragini asked turning her head to the other side. But Laksh stood silent. He wanted to memorize her features as such as possible. May be he can't she her as same anymore.

The fairy lights used for Decoration made the atmosphere more romantic. But who's heart is in the mood to enjoy that night's beauty?

"Ragini.. Ragu.. Can I call you as Ragu?"  He asked and she nodded.

"I just want to spend a quality of time with you, just to talk like before" he said and she clutched her dupatta to control her emotions.

"we can never talk like before, you know that we are not same anymore, nothing is. Everything is going to change tomorrow. New life, new responsiblities waits for me there with next sunrise. Yet i agreed to meet you, do you know why? I just want to know what we did to undergo all these pain and all? "she asked and he nodded his head for every question.

"yeah Ragini! We can never be the same again. Nothing can. But the memories, they will live forever, isn't it? The stolen glances, long drives and of course those cutes fights, they will remain in our memories forever" Laksh said and a lone tear escaped his eyes.

"yeah Laksh, we shared a unique relationship, but it broke. Broke like a fragile GLASS. And you did  it" Ragini said and Laksh maintained silence. What else he can do when it was him who did everything. It was him who broke that relationship. He was the one who broke her heart.

"Your words that day killed me alive Laksh" she siad and both of their minds travelled to that painful day.

"Laksh, why are you not lifting my calls all night" Ragini asked with a bit irritation and anger

"I have other things to think about Ragini I can't always spend my time talking useless things to you" Laksh shouted and Ragini shocked with his response.

"why are you shouting now Laksh, i just asked?" she held his hands but he pushed her hands away.

"I'm not shouting Ragini, I'm telling you the reality. I'm really frustrated because of you. You behave like I'm your slave and do what you want me to do. You try to control me Ragini and I hate it" Laksh said before thinking and Ragini took a step back.

tears started tolling down form her eyes. "What are you saying now Laksh?" Ragini asked wiping her tears.

"let's brake up Ragini, we are not made for each other" he siad and left without caring about the girl whose heart he just broke.

Both of them wiped the tears. "I was mad that time Ragini, I was frustrated about business, family and all and ended up in showing my whole anger on you, I didn't deserve you Ragini. I was a stupid a senseless and useless person" Laksh said.

"Leave it Laksh, it's meant to happen like that and happened. Even I behaved like that then But now I forgot them as a dream" Ragini said and Laksh looked at her.

"can you forget everything easily as a dream Ragini?" he asked as the pain clearly evident in his voice. "may be you can but I can't Ragini. I can't even forgot a second I spent with you, they are the things that keeps my heart beating" Laksh Said and held the railing for support as he felt like he will fall down with the pain, he is feeling in his  heart.

As she Saw his pain a tear escaped her eyelids and she didn't bothered to wipe them out. For a second a near fear crept her mind. What if she had a change of heart? It's her wedding tomorrow, she can't let her heart melt once again, not at least for him.

"can I ask you something Laksh?" she asked and he nodded his head. "why are you not looking at my eyes while taking, why are you looking down" Ragini asked and he smiled.

"I'm afraid Ragini, I'm afraid that I will forgot everything and will down on your brown orbs. I'm afraid that I will ran towards you and embrace you if I saw the pain in your eyes. I'm afraid that I can't breath anymore if I saw unbearable pain in your face " he said and she left a bitter cry which made him look at her face.

"Then why Laksh?" she paused and wiped her over flowing tears before it could touch her cheeks. "Then why did you went behind that swara Laksh?" Ragini asked and Laksh froze at his place.

"why did you went behind her, when I thought that you are my whole world" Ragini almost shouted.

"I didn't know Ragu, maybe I was attracted to her, or you can say a mare infatuation, but not love Ragini, it is not love at all. I'm sure about it" he said.

"and that was the biggest mistake of my life Ragini, of only I can travel back in time that is the one thing I want to change. I want to stop myself from considering that infatuation as something else" Laksh siad and Ragini can feel the pain in her voice.

"okay Ragini, the only thing I hated in your face is your tears, yet I became the reaosn for your tears. I made you cry uncountable times and I don't want you to cry anymore in your life. The life you choose will be the best, and all I can give you is my wishes Ragini "Laksh said and his red eyes filled with tears melted her heart.

"It's cold out here Ragu, go and sleep, I have to leave before someone saw us" he said and turned to leave but she held his hand and stopped him.

"at this instant, what do you feel about Laksh, look at my eyes and say" Ragini asked and Laksh locked his eyes with hers.

"I feel like I'm a stupid to miss a girl like you Ragini" he said and left without waiting for her word and she fell down and cried. After few minutes she stood up and saw a gift box laying there. She took a that and a note is fixed with that saying 'not every love stories end in marriages ❤️' wiping her tears she went inside and slept this time with a light heart and clear mind.

The next day Ragini woke up with a smile and few girls came and drresed her up for her wedding. Ragini who attend every other rituals mindlessly looked so happy and clear that day. Taking a last glance of herself in the mirror, she left with a smile to the mandap. After all she was ready to forgot her past completely

Sitting before the holy fire, she turned to her side and saw her better half and gave him a beautiful smile when he adored her neck with the holy thread making her his wife for the next seven births uniting them in a never ending bond.

"You look gorgeous love" he said and she blushed. "dad found me sneeking out and meeting you last night, he is going to take a big lecture for meeting the bride before marriage" Laksh said after Their marriage as they found Durgaprasad glaring them often.

"we will manage Laksh" Ragini said smiled but her smile turned into a frown when she found Swara walking towards a gift.

"happy married life Ragini and Laksh" she said and Ragini gave a fake smile to her. "okay Laksh, let's meet someday" She said. "of course Swara" Laksh said and Ragini stamped his foot. "along with my wife" he completed with a smile.

"okay" she said and left.

"every love stories are meant to end in marriages Ragu, but ours is" Laksh siad and she side hugged him.
