Laksh's words left everyone shocked to hell.

All were looking at him and then at Ragini who was standing at the door like a statue.

Aryan: what are you saying bro?

Sanskar: bhai, how could you say like this?

Arjun: she's our bhabhi.

Ryan: your wife!!

Laksh: she's not my wife.

All four: are you mad?

Laksh (gritting his teeth): I can kill you all for calling me mad. I'm saying na she's not my wife.

Ragini holds her hand and stops her from saying anything.

Laksh: my wife used to look beautiful, she used to be all pink and happy always but the one standing there is so yellow and a cry baby. She's not my chatter box.

He says cutely.

All looks at him with wide eyes and takes a breath of relief realising that he didn't forget her.

Ragini was analysing his each and every word.

"Did he just fooled her and played a prank on her?"

Ragini's temper increased once she understood everything. She looks at him angrily.

Ragini: you bucky, monkey, donkey Maheshwari. How dare you played such a prank on me? You took away my breath. I'll kill you.

She makes a fist and was moving towards him angrily in order to hit him.

All including Laksh looks at her shocked.

All: no diii/bhaaabhiii...

Laksh closes his eyes.

Laksh (fakely shouts holding his head): aaahhhh...

Hearing it Ragini looks at him concerned.

Ragini: are you okay? Is it paining? Should I call the doctor in?

Her anger flew away😜. Laksh opens his eyes slowly.

Laksh: ya, I'm fine.

Ragini's eyes started welling up again.

Laksh: now don't start crying again yaar otherwise I'll again start doubting whether you are my wife or not.

He says chuckling.

Everyone laughs. Ragini looks at them angrily.

And Ragini's smile widens at his words.

The sisters smiles at him happily.

All rolls their eyes at him.

Everyone takes position for the selfie near Laksh.

Laksh looks at Ragini who was standing a little away. He holds her wrist and lightly pulls her towards himself.

Ragini looks at him. She was now standing right next to his bed.

All smiles at the camera.

Everyone looks at Raglak who were looking at each other. They signs each other and heads out of the room.

Ragini: how are you feeling now?

Laksh stretches his hand towards her.

She was surprised by it but happily keeps her hand in his and moves a little closer to him.

Laksh signs her to the sit on the stool that was placed near the bed. Ragini does the same.

Laksh: I'm happy that I'm back to my family now.

He says with watery eyes.

Ragini: sshh... don't.

Laksh: at that moment I completely lost the hope of meeting my brothers, my family and you ever again. I felt like those were the last moments of my life. That it was the end of....

Ragini keeps her palm on his mouth and stops him from saying anything further. She glares him.

Ragini: shut up!! Dare you ever say anything like this. I'll kill you.

She looks at him angrily but her eyes were filled with tears.

Laksh was trying hard to control his emotions but fails miserably.

Ragini shakes her head in no. She was feeling helpless by the fact that she can't hug him to console him. She keeps her other hand over his.

Ragini: don't say like this please. You're the strongest man in the world for us. You fought for your life and got a second birth. Now, don't think about what is gone, just think about what is on the way. Your family is always with you. I'm with you.

Laksh smiles at her words.

Ragini (frowning): why you did that worst of the worst prank on me?

She asks to divert his mind.

Laksh chuckles.

Laksh: I was feeling like doing something like that. Your face was worth watching.

He says laughing.

Ragini looks at him angrily but with a cute pout on her face.

Ragini: by the way, do you have any idea from how many days you're lying unconscious in the hospital?

Laksh shakes his head.

Ragini: six days!!

She says showing all the fingers of her one hand and one finger of the other hand.

Laksh's eyes literally pops out listening to her.

Laksh: what? Seriously?

Ragini nods.

Laksh: that means Ryan and Arjun's exams must have started and what about office?

Ragini hit's her palm on her forehead.

Ragini: god, my husband is not a normal human being.

She says shaking her head in disbelief.

Laksh looks at her angrily.

Laksh: what do you mean😒?

Ragini: are you seriously thinking about their exams and your office in this situation also?

Laksh nods casually.

Ragini: you're just impossible Mr Maheshwari.

Laksh: you're also not less Mrs Maheshwari.

Ragini was looking at him blinking her eyes continuously.
He was giving her one after the other surprises. He just called her "Mrs Maheshwari". Her heart was jumping with joy. She was feeling so happy.

Just then the door gets open and everyone enters in.

Arjun: if your personal husband wife talks are over then give some time to us also.

Ragini glares him. All chuckles.

Laksh: can we talk later? I'm feeling a little pain.

All looks at him worried.

Sanskar: I'll call the doctor.

Laksh: there's no need for it.

But Sanskar didn't listen to him.

The doctor comes and checks on him.

Doctor: he's feeling the pain because of talking much. Please let him take rest for sometime.

All nods and leaves. Ragini turns back to look at Laksh.

Ragini: if you need anything or feel any kind of pain then call us. We're outside only.

Laksh nods. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

Laksh: I'm not a fool to forget the person who has become one of the most important persons of my life in just a few weeks. No, not actually in a week but in just few minutes when I was lying on that death bed feeling helpless seeing you crying. At that time only I realised what I have missed. You have proved that you're the best choice for me and my family. You have accepted my brothers with all your heart. You even accepted me without any complaints. In those moments when I was feeling like I can die any second I was feeling guilty for spoiling your life by marrying you but now I'll not leave any guilt to regret ever. You accepted me the way I am and that's the thing in you which is making me feel blessed that I got you as my life partner. I once did a mistake by not noticing you or by not giving any heed to you but not now. Now, I have realized that life is very short. It can end any moment. So, try to keep everyone happy. From now onwards I'll try my best to keep you happy and safe until I'm with you. I'm not saying that I'll not get angry on you or I'll change myself. I can never do it because that's me. But I'll try to give you all the happiness, attention and care you deserve. Get ready to see the another side of your husband Mrs Ragini Laksh Maheshwari.

He says smiling, still with closed eyes.

All hugs each other happily.

All: everything is fine now.

They wanted to talk many things to Laksh but they decided to wait for him to heal and get a little stronger.

They looks at Ragini who was smiling lost in the moments that she just spent with Laksh after complete six days. And his behavior towards her was making her feel bliss. Her happiness was reaching her eyes. Her eyes were sparkling.

They too smiles seeing her happy face. Her sisters hugs her. She too hugs them back.

Night:

All were sleeping on the chairs outside the ICU. Aryan left for his house in the evening. Ragini get's up and goes in to check on Laksh.

Ragini enters in the ICU and finds him sleeping. She goes towards him and sits on the chair beside his bed. She takes his right hand in her hand.

Laksh opens his eyes feeling her touch.

Ragini: sorry, I spoiled your sleep.

Laksh slightly shakes his head and clutches her hand more tightly.

Laksh: I was not sleeping.

Ragini: I just wanted to check whether you're fine or not.

Laksh smiles.

Laksh: I'm fine. Don't worry!!

Ragini: I'm not worrying.

She tells him a white lie😛.

Laksh (raising his eyebrow): oh really???

He knows better😁.

Ragini: yes...

Laksh shakes his head in disbelief.

Laksh: you were not sleeping?

Ragini shakes her head.

Ragini: I was not getting any sleep due to happiness.

Laksh: happiness about what?

Ragini: that you are back to us now.

Laksh smiles.

Laksh: come here.

He signs her to come closer to him. She looks at him surprised.

Laksh: come...

Ragini goes towards him.

Laksh keeps her head on his chest and starts caressing her hair.

Ragini was shocked beyond words but was also happy beyond words😚. She was feeling overwhelmed. All her worries were gone. She was feeling safe and tension free near him.

Laksh didn't say anything but kept caressing her hair slowly. Soon she falls asleep, tired.

He was feeling some pain because of the wounds of the glasses on his body and Ragini's head was there only but he says nothing.

He too closes his eyes and slowly drifts into sleep.

Next day:

All get's up and were shocked not finding Ragini.

All: where's di/bhabhi?

Aryan too comes there in his police uniform.

Aryan: good morning. How's Laksh?

Ryan: we were just going to check on him.

All nods.

Sanskar opens the door of the ICU and all looks at Ragini who was sleeping on Laksh's chest. After so many days they saw her sleeping this much peacefully with no worries. While Laksh's hand was still in her hair.

They goes aww at both of Raglak and smiles genuinely at them.

All: ahem ahem...

Both Raglak get's up listening to their voices. Ragini immediately sit's properly.

All: good morning di jiju/ bhai bhabhi

Raglak: good morning

Laksh: come in. Rey and Aru you didn't tell me how was your exam?

All including Ragini shakes their heads in disbelief.

Ryan and Arjun: it was good.

Laksh: hmm, good for you.

All chuckles.

Laksh: when is the next?

Naina: after three days.

Laksh nods.

Laksh: waise, you all didn't take care of my wife well. That's why she's looking so pale.

He said glaring them fakely.

All shakes their heads while Ragini was again left surprised due to his words.

Arjun: your wife is looking tired and pale because she gave you blood and also she was tensed for you.

Laksh looks at him shocked. He looks at Ragini and others to confirm if he was saying right.

All nods their heads.

Laksh: now it makes sense.

All (confused): what?

Laksh: why I'm talking this much from the time I have got up?

He says chuckling.

It takes the others a few seconds to understand it's meaning and they too joins him in laughing after getting his point.

Ragini looks at Laksh with an open mouth.

Ragini: how mean?

Laksh: from the time I have got up I was wondering why I'm talking non stop? Now I got the reason behind it because the blood of a chatter box is running in my veins.

He says laughing hard accompanied by the others.

Ragini: you all are very bad. I'll not talk to any of you.

She makes a pout and turns her face away.

All: arre, sorry di/bhabhi

Laksh: look they're saying sorry.

Ragini: but you didn't say.

Laksh: because Laksh Maheshwari never says sorry to anyone.

He says with attitude.

All shakes their heads in utter disbelief. Ragini makes faces.
