That weekend was hosting the weddings of Apollo and Aphrodite. They had been planning for six months and were very excited. The plan was for Vincent and Aphrodite to get married first, and the directly after would be the wedding of Apollo and Alice.
The day came for the Destler weddings, and both twins were extremely nervous. They were sitting in the same dressing room and found solace in each other's arms. They stood there for about five minutes or so embracing, when Catherine came in the room announcing that it was almost time for Aphrodite's ceremony to begin. Apollo had to quickly get to his place beside the groom.
You see, it was decided that Apollo would be Vincent's best man, Alice would be Aphrodite's maid of honor, and vice versa.

"How are you doing?" Catherine asked as soon as Apollo left the room.

Aphrodite embraced her sister. "Erika, I don't know what to do. I'm afraid. I can't do this. I can't marry Vincent," Aphrodite cried.

"Yes, you can. I panicked before my wedding too. This is normal. You can't back out. You love Vincent," Catherine remembered. "And don't let anyone hear you call me Erika."

"Sorry. I'm nervous. What am I supposed to do?"

Catherine moved over to a cabinet and pulled out a bottle and two glasses. "I figured you'd need this."

"Champagne? Why champagne?"

"How do you think I made it through my wedding?"

Aphrodite gave an expression of shock. "You were drunk?"

Catherine laughed. "Heavens, no! I had one glass. Who do you think I am?"

"Erika," Aphrodite replied with a smirk.

"Shut up. Here, drink this," the older sister commanded.

"This tastes terrible. I'll deal with my nerves on my own, thank you."

"Okay," Catherine laughed, taking the glass back from her sister. "Are you ready to do this?"

"I suppose so."

The two girls retrieved their bouquets and left the room hastily.
The opera house was decorated in gold and silver and white. Light flooded in through every window.
Erik walked Aphrodite down the aisle. Tears stung his eyes as he looked at his daughter. She was so grown up. "My little girl is getting married. After today, I will not have an unwed child," Erik thought.
The justice began the ceremony and after a few minutes, asked the couple to say their vows.

"Aphrodite Destler, I've known you for a long time. There was something about that first day that we met. I knew that you were the one as soon as we locked eyes. I can't imagine my life without you. I promise that I will always love and cherish you. I will never leave your side," Vincent vowed.

"Vincent Gaston, you snuck up on me. I never even saw it coming. Until the moment I found you, I didn't know what love was. You showed me, and now, all I want to do is love you," Aphrodite vowed.

"I now pronounce you: husband and wife. Vincent, you may kiss the bride," the justice concluded.

Vincent kissed Aphrodite as he never had before. The couple walked gleefully down the isle and into the changing rooms.
Now, Vincent, Aphrodite, Apollo, and Alice had to hurry. They had to change into the appropriate attire for Apollo and Alice's wedding.
Apollo stood in the dressing room with Gustave, who was smoothing out his suit. Apollo was very nervous. He had been panicking ever since his sister walked down the aisle. Now, it was his turn to get married. He expressed his feelings to his older brother. Gustave gave the boy brotherly advice, much as how Catherine had consoled Aphrodite.

"I don't know if I can do this," Apollo worried.

"Nonsense! You love Alice, and she loves you. Nothing could possibly go wrong at this point," Gustave comforted. "Now, we must make haste. We don't want to keep everyone waiting."

Once all were dressed and ready, the second ceremony began.
Erik walked his soon-to-be daughter-in-law down the aisle. This time, however, the tears that stung his eyes were directed toward the handsome, young man standing at the altar. He, like his twin sister, looked so grown up. It seemed like it was just yesterday that they were young children pestering their father with endless questions. Where had the time gone?
The justice began the second ceremony and once again, asked for the vows.

Apollo looked straight into Alice's eyes and vowed, "Alice Gaston, you are the most beautiful, sweet, and amazing woman I've ever known. You have brought indescribable happiness and light into my life. I will always be here with you, beside you, as I am now."

Alice blushed and vowed, "Apollo Destler, you are the most wonderful man I've ever met. You have been there for me through good times and bad. I love you and I promise that I always will."

The justice then repeated the phrase, "Now, I pronounce you: man and wife. Apollo, you may your bride."

Apollo kissed Alice long and full on the lips. It was by far the most romantic thing that Apollo had ever experienced.
The next few days were a blur. Apollo and Aphrodite were busied with moving their spouses into the catacombs. The fact that they were married adults was almost more than they could handle. After much back-breaking work, Vincent and Alice were moved into their new rooms.

"Welcome home, Vincent Destler," Aphrodite greeted as she kissed her husband.

Apollo also greeted his wife with a kiss and said, "Welcome to the catacombs, Ali."

Erik walked in on the two couples kissing. He quickly walked back down the hallway from which he came, exclaiming, "I didn't need to see that!"

The twins laughed in response. They had been through some tough things in their life, but despite it all, they still had their family, spouses, and most of all, they had each other. For these things, they were grateful. At this moment, nothing could happen to take away the happiness of the Destler twins and their spouses.
