??? POV

???: Augh, what happened?

???: You took a lot of damage from that blast back there, as I'm sure you should remember.

I had woken up, in what appeared to be a hospital bed.

Oh yeah, last night, wait, who said that?!

???: Who said that?!

I couldn't help but worry, I couldnt see, but I could hear a woman that I didn't know. Wait, why can't I see?!?!

I began to panic a bit, seeing as I couldn't see, and there was an unknown person in the room with me, I could only assume the worst. I began to squirm, and felt my face, it felt odd, and covered in bandages, well, it always was, but these were fresh, and wrapped much more tightly than they were before.

Woman: Calm down. You aren't in any danger young man.

At her words, I began to slowly calm myself, I don't know why, but I feel as though I could trust her words.

Woman: So, young man, you took quite a fall, and sustained some serious injuries, could you tell me your name, my child?

I didn't know why, or how, but I felt as though I could truly trust her.

???: Y/n, Y/n Sca-

I caught myself before I could say anything more. Sure, I was part of the family, but I can't say that they were my family.

Y/n: It's Y/n, just Y/n.

It was then that I had collected my thoughts. If I was in an infirmary, then... Oh No!

I quickly began to try and hide myself, grabbing what I assume to be the bed sheets and covering the entirety of my body, quaking in fear that I was seen.

Woman: You have reason to hide, no one can get in here but myself, and I've already seen everything.

At that I began to tremble even more, if she's seen everything, then it's only a matter of time before it happens again.

Y/n thoughts: No no no no, no, not now, never again, I have to le-

As I was about to try and leave, she grabbed my hand, not firmly, like she was about to hurt me, but gently, as though she were a caring mother who would hold me dearly.

Woman: You have no need to run, you are not in any danger, I mean absolutely no harm.

I was taking in her words, I couldnt notice any ulterior motives, so I assume she was speaking the general truth.

Woman: I will leave now, and allow you to get changed, but please know, you have every right to leave on your own, after you are checked out, I will not restrain you, but I implore you to come with me, as a humble, solemn request.

After that, I heard the door open, and footsteps audibly exiting the room.

I had gotten out of bed, and began to unwrap the bandages around my face. Or in this case... lack there of.

I went and grabbed my "face", which had been on the bedside counter, and put it back in its place. I couldn't help but stare into the mirror, watching my reflection, as though something would change.

Y/n thoughts: There's no way around it, even with my own thoughts, she helped me. I have to do this.

Time Skip

I had accepted the woman's request, on behalf of the fact she had "saved" my life, it would be rude not to hear her out.

As we had left the room, I had begun to take notice of the absolute lack of other people in the vicinity, as we made our way to our final destination. And as we went on our way, I began to hear two very, familiar, voices.

Quiet Woman(Muffled through walls and door): Do you have any idea.... In the first place you... I cannot believe that... But in any case...

I couldn't exactly make out everything I had heard, but I could discern the majority of what was being said.

3rd POV

As the two were heading towards the room, there was quite the commotion occurring in said room.

Blonde: Do you have any idea of the trouble you're in young lady!? In the first place, why were you going after dangerous criminals on your own!? If I had not arrived when I had, you would of been seriously injured! I cannot believe you would be so irresponsible, because of you, an innocent had gotten seriously injured! But in any case, if I was one of your teachers at Signal, I would give you a pat on the back...

The girl in red in which she had been scolding had looked on in excitement at her words.

Blonde: And a slap on the wrist!

The blonde had said, lacing her words with intent while swinging her riding crop towards her hand, making her flinch and squeal.

Blonde: But, there is someone here who would like to meet you.

As the blonde had said that, with a slightly displeasured tone, she stood aside as the woman from before entered into the room, carrying with her a mug of coffee, and a plate of cookies.

Woman: Ruby Rose...

She had begun to approach the girl in red, supposedly Ruby, with an examining look.

Woman: You...have silver eyes.

The girl didn't know how to respond to that.

Ruby: Uh-Um

As she was trying to question, the blonde pulled out a scroll, which was showing a replay of the battle that had occurred.

Woman: Where did you learn to do this?

The girl in red began to seem worried, as though she was being interrogated, which, technically she was.

Ruby: Si-Signal Academy?

She couldn't help but sound as if though it was a question.

Woman: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

She didn't ask with hesitation, it was more along the lines of sounding as though she was expecting a specific response.

Ruby: Well, one teacher in particular.

Woman: I see...

She sounded a little bit condescending in her response, but she didn't exactly show much of a reaction to it, only placing the tray of cookies on the table in front of them.

Woman: The only other person I've ever seen wield a scythe with that level of skill was a dusty old crow.

Ruby: Shash ma anf!

She tried to speak, but it was impossible to make out with the food in her mouth.

Woman: What?

Ruby: That's my aunt. I was complete garbage before she took me under her wing.

Woman: I see.

The woman began looking at Ruby from top to bottom, as if inspecting her.

Woman: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: You're Professor Ozpin, Headmistress of Beacon Academy.

Ozpin: Would you like to go to Beacon?

Ruby: More than anything in the world. I only have two more years in Signal before I can graduate.

Ozpin only gave a condescending look to the blonde.

Ozpin: How would you like to go to Beacon?

Ruby began to squeal in excitement at the notion.

Ruby: I would lo-

But that excitement was put on hold by the blonde.

Blonde: You can't be serious Ozpin! She still needs to own up for her actions!

Ozpin only gave her a gentle gaze.

Ozpin: Glynda, the matter has already been taken care of.

The blonde on the other hand looked as though she would start pulling her own hair out.

Glynda: But, what about the civilian, what about all of the injuries that he sustained!? What happened to him?!

As Glynda began to show much more concern for the boy, a voice was heard from the corner of the room.

???: It's alright, I forgive her.

Glynda was startled, as she quickly turned heads towards the place the voice had came from, only to be met with a harrowing sight.

A/N-this is your "wheelchair" you wear what the outfits were in the bonnie arts in the last chapter, and you face is tightly wrapped in bandages.

???: It is alright miss Goodwitch, I forgive her. Besides, I have nobody to blame for my injuries besides myself. And I could hardly consider myself as an innocent civilian, since I decided to join the fight as well.

With out much word, glynda slowly walked over to the boy she saw, and slowly embraced him in a hug, while it went unnoticed, but the sensation felt from the hug caused the boy to madly blush.

Glynda: Thank goodness your okay.

Ozpin: Well, this is a surprising turn of events. So Y/n, miss Rose...

As she began, everyone in the room began to look at her expectantly.

Ozpin: How would you two like to go to Beacon?
