Your waiting outside your school for your boyfriend and his older brother to pick you, his brother Pony and his friend Steve up from school. It seems to you as if the only person in the world who can stand Steve is your boyfriend, SodaPop Curtis. So, you go and talk to Pony. Pony is the only guy that you talk to in the whole school. SodaPop dropped out last year. You have a few gal friends, but your surprised they aren't standing there with you. Raven, one of your friends is Ponys girlfriend. Chloe is Steve's girlfriend. Amanda, even though she is a student teacher she is still your friend, and Darrys girlfriend. Crystal, is Johnny's girlfriend. Cherry is a soc, and is Dallys girlfriend, she ain't that bad. Marcia, is Two-Bits girlfriend she is Cherry's best friend, she's a soc too. You all hang out at school all the time, soc or greaser. You start talking to Pony about schoolwork and the pop quiz in your Social Studies class. Soda pulls up in his large truck.
"Hey babe!" Soda yells. You walk up to him and he kisses you. After the kiss you jump in the car and buckle your seat belt. Safety first! Thats something Soda taught you. "Hey, wanna come over for a 'date' its Friday, it ll just be at my house.
"Sounds cool! How about 6:30 I'll have time to finish my homework." You reply. You see Soda smile, quickly frown, and then smile again. You realize that the only thing Soda knows how to cook is cake. And he would never ask for help nor order something. Soda drops you off at your house and you get right to your homework. You need to do well on tomorrows quiz.

You get into a nicer pair of black jeans. You put on a cute T-shirt and you grab your leather jacket, given to you from Two-Bit. You go to the mirror and put on bolder makeup. You put your hair up into a ballerina bun and grab for your best pair of boots. You put on some of the jewelry that Soda gave you. A black cat choker, a love+peace+hair grease bracelet (yes, people actually said that, my dad says that) dripping blood earings and a broken heart ring. You decide your ready to go. You walk outside and breathe the cool spring air on your face as you walk to the oh, so, familiar Curtis house. You walk to the door and politely knock.
Soda opens the door "Yes, malady!" He says bowing. You blush Soda is so cute. You walk in and where the coffee talks usually is there is a dining table for two set up with candles. There are two bowls on the table. You walk over and peer into one. You are surprised at what you see. Ramen Noodles. You blush again, its spicy shrimp, your favorite kind. But more expensive and really hard to find. Soda is so cute. You walk over to him and wrap your arms around him
"Thank you. This is perfect!" You whisper in his ear. He kisses you. This is the best night ever
