The carriage pulled by flying horses streaked across the clear, blue sky. Earnest sat in an apartment, alone. Apparently, nobody wants to sit with him. Chattering filled his ears. Suddenly the sliding door of his apartment opened a crack. A golden eye peered in. Earnest recognized the kind of dragon immediately. It is a Gravity Dragon, the one and only kind of dragon that has golden eyes. The purple (with a bit of black) dragon stepped into the room. "Hi...? There aren't any rooms left available for me. Do you mind?" he said. Earnest was surprised and pleased at the same time. He gave a warm smile and pointed to the seat opposite to him. "Of course not." Then, when the dragon had settled down, Earnest grabbed a handful of Dragon Snacks from his backpack. "Help yourself." Earnest hoped to make a good relationship with all the ones that would at least talk to him. The Gravity Dragon looked astounded. "Why, all those dragons saying you are dangerous, but I think you are quite friendly," he gasped. Then he seemed to notice the distraught expression on Earnest's face and said quietly, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that. I just want to say I believe you are kind." "It's alright, thank you," said Earnest. The Gravity Dragon looked enormously relieved and Earnest smiled, flicking a piece of Beanie Huk's cake towards him. The Gravity Dragon caught it easily(because of the gravity's pulling force surrounding him). "My name's Demules Wesleton, but my friends call me Dem," he mumbled through a mouthful of cake. "Oh! I've heard about your family name. Your father works in the Dragon Ministry, doesn't he?" "Yeah, he does. I have two brothers and two sisters. They're a pain in my neck," Demules sighed. Earnest sighed, "I wish I have siblings. Then at least I'll have someone who's in the same boat." Demules looked sympathetic. "We can be friends," he said. "I don't mind being friends with dragons as kind as you." "And speaking of me, I want to ask do you recognize what kind of dragon am I?" Earnest asked, thinking about his level (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Epic). Dem shrugged and shook his head.  "I don't know. Maybe I'll ask Dad." "Or we'll ask the headmaster." "Yeah." Then minutes passed in silence until the door of their room opened again and a Pixie Dragon entered. She waved her hand cheerfully as if she hadn't seen the son of the most horrible dark dragon ever lived, but a gentle, innocent rabbit. "Hi! I'm Canadrina Joshen, and I'm new here." "We're new here too," the boys chorused. "Oh well," said the Pixie Dragon hurriedly. "I guess I'll just sit down." She sat beside Earnest and smiled at him. Earnest felt he could at least survive the twelve years in the Dragon Academy with two friends. He, Earnest Libratic had made two friends, Earnest realised, smiling to himself contently and listened quietly to the conversation of the other two.
