You could say I'm fairly new still, even though I've had the job for a year now...

It's probably because I'm Mute.

"Hey, [Y/N]?" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned to see the girl of my dreams. Sombra. I waved shyly. "Reaper ordered us to invade Volskaya industries. We depart tomorrow. I wrote something on my hand.

"Just us...?"

"Yes, Just us." She laughed, as I rubbed the pen ink off of my hand. "I was wondering... Did you want to hang out later? Maybe... Hack some confidential files or something?" She asked, as I nodded. "Cool, meet me at 4. See you later, Amigo." She waved as she walked away.

I just got a date with her...?!

'HOW THE HECK?!' I thought, surprised... But happy, nonetheless. I got back to work.

"Aaaand.... Done." Sombra said, as the pressed a button on my keyboard. she decided to come over to my house, instead of me going to her. I applauded. She stood up, and bowed while laughing. "Don't worry, I got rid of the evidence so they won't go after you." She winked. "Hey, [Y/N]? You never told me about how you became mute. Do you mind if I ask?" She asked sitting down next to me on the couch. I sighed as thought about it... After a bit, I nodded, as I grabbed a piece of paper.

[Insert Tragic Backstory Here]

"Wow..." Sombra had a baffled look on her face, as she read it. I nodded. "You've been through... A lot... Haven't you?" She said, as I nodded again. "..." She looked down. "Sorry for making you talk about it." She said, laughing nervously.

"Don't worry about it, I didn't mind."

I wrote on my hand, and showed her. "..." She looked like she was thinking about something, before she spoke up. "Hey, uh..." She said. "...?" I raised an eyebrow. "I've been wanting to tell you something... But I don't know if now's the right time...." She said.

"What is it?" I wrote.

"I uh... I... I love you." She said, blushing like crazy.

I finally decided to break out of my shell, and speak.

"I love you too, Sombra."
