RECEPTION DAY-

It was the day of Shivaay and Anika's wedding reception.

Anika was so happy and excited for their reception party and Shivaay feeling happy after seeing her so excited.

She dressed up in her black and golden silk lehenga. Everyone was confused that how can black be the dress code for a reception party but after all it was oberoi family.

Anika was wearing her earrings in front of the mirror when Shivaay back hugged her.

Anika was shocked would be understatement.

A- Shivaay.

S- Hmm.

He said while hiding his face in the crook of her neck.

A- What are you doing?

She stammered in nervousness.

S- Admiring my wife.

Shivaay said while inhaling the scent of her hair. He closed his eyes with a smile. Her hair had a scent of strawberries.

A- Shivaay, I never thought that one day will come when you'll act so ... Ummm... Romantic.

Anika said with a tinge of blush on her cheeks. Shivaay rested his head on her shoulder and looked at her through the mirror.

S- We decided to give a chance to our marriage so I'm acting like all husband and wives do.

Shivaay said with a smile and Anika smiled at him shyly.

Suddenly Rudra barged into the room and looked at Shivika in compromising position. He immediately closed his eyes while Shivika were startled.

R- OH MY GOD! NOW I'VE TO WASH MY EYES WITH GANGAJAL TO MAINTAIN THEIR PURITY.

Shivaay went towards him and slapped his head.

S- Then why did you barge into a married couple's room without knocking?

Shivaay asked him while glaring at him.

R- But why is a married couple romancing without locking?

Rudra said with a smirk and Shivika's eyes widened in shock. Shivaay cleared his throat and looked at him.

S- Rudra, why did you come here?

R- Oh! I forgot. Dadi is calling you both as all the guests have arrived.

A- Okay Rudy. We'll be there.

Anika said with a smile.

R- Anyways, bhabhi you're looking beautiful. If it was not your reception party then I would have definitely eloped with you.

Rudra said with a grin and Shivaay glared at him.

He protectively wrapped his arms around Anita's waist.

S- Stop hitting on my wife and go find yourself a girl to marry. You're getting old.

Rudra looked at him with widened eyes. Anika hit him on his chest and glared at him.

A- Stop being so mean, Shivaay. He was just kidding. He was just praising me unlike you.

S- Haawwww.. Did I not praise you?

A- Did you say I was looking beautiful or any of it's synonyms?

Anika looked at him with narrowed eyes and Shivaay was speechless.

S- I.... I....

R- Okay. Time's up. Let's go guys.

Rudra left from there and Anika was about to Follow him when Shivaay pulled her towards him and she collided with his chest.

She looked into his eyes breathlessly. Shivaay tucked a hair strand behind her ear and pecked her forehead.

S- You look so ethereal that I can't take off my eyes from you. My heart is beating at a louder pace that I don't know how to control it.

Shivaay said while caressing her cheeks and Anika blushed to the deepest shade of red.

A- you're also looking not bad.

S- Seriously Anika, "not bad" Is what you got? Lets go down stairs and you'll see how every girl at the party will fall for my charms.

Anika looked at him with a frown.

A- And I'll strangle them if they laid their eyes on you.

Anika said with anger and Shivaay smirked at her.

S- Oooohhhhh! Someone is jealous.

Anika glared at him and Shivaay chuckled.

S- I'm only yours, Jaan.

A smile came on her lips and they headed down stairs.

Shivika reached the garden area and were surprised to see the beautiful decorations in the garden.

OmRiRu, Dadi and Sahil walked towards Shivika.

A- Wow! You all look so good.

They all smiled at her.

G- But you're looking the most beautiful.

Gauri praised her and Anika blushed.

Anika then looked at Sahil and cupped his face.

A- Sahil, are you fine? Did you eat? Are you feeling bored?

Sa- Yes didi. I'm fine and I ate also. And no, I'm not feeling bored as I found a new friend.

Sahil blushed a little and everyone looked at him in confusion. He then pointed at a girl around his age, who was sitting on one of the chairs.

Sahil blushed while looking at her.

S- Nice choice buddy.

Shivaay said and Sahil blushed more.

R- Let's go man. I'll teach you some tricks of how to impress a girl.

Rudra held his hand and took Sahil with him. Everyone rolled their eyes.

Shivaay and Anika sat on the stage on the swing where guests were congratulated them one by one.

The time started passing by and everyone had dinner.

Shivaay and Anika were sitting beside each other when Shivaay held her hand. Anika looked at him in confusion.

S- Thank you doing everything for me and my family, especially dadi. She's very happy to have you as a part of our family.

A- This is my family as well. And I'll do anything for you and this family, even if I've to die.

S- No. I'm the protector of this family and I'll always protect you and our family.

Anika smiled.

Now, Shivaay was introducing Anika to his business associates.

Suddenly Anika started feeling uneasy. Shivaay looked at her and noticed her changed demeanor.

S- What happened?

A- I don't know I just have a weird feeling that something wrong is about to happen.

S- Nothing is going to happen, Jaan. Maybe you're having jet lag. Go have some water.

Anika nodded her head.

In a shade, we can see Tia hiding while pointing the gun at Shivaay.

T-You did very wrong with me, Shivaay. You insulted me and my dad. Now you'll pay for your deeds. Goodbye Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

Anika was walking back to Shivaay with a glass of water. Suddenly, she heard rustling in the bushes of the garden. She looked that way and was shocked to see Tia standing there with a gun pointed at Shivaay. Anika was horrified. She looked at Shivaay who was talking to one of his business associate.

She dropped the glass of water and ran towards Shivaay.

As soon as Anika reached Shivaay, Tia fired the gun. A loud gunshot was heard and Shivika fell down on the floor.
