"Bella? Where are you?" I yelled. I was flying around the city in search of my daughter. I was worried sick. She was at daycare. When we came back to get her, she wasn't there. Poor girl must be scared to death. Chat and I were looking everywhere for the child. I wouldn't rest until she was in my arms again. Someone must have taken her! My first suspicion was Hawkmoth. I completely forget where his secret base is. When I get my hands on him, I will rip him to shreds! I called Chat on a new addition I got to my suit. "Chat come to my location."

"Be there in a jiff." He replied. I sat down of the building. That Hawkmoth will pay for taking my child. How dare he! "Hey, what's up?" Chat sat down next to me.

"Do you remember where Hawkmoth's lair is?" I asked. His eyes opened wide in realization.

"I have it bookmarked on my locator. He is going to pay for kidnapping our Bella!" His face turned red in anger.

I decided to call Ladybug. We need all the help we can get. At least Bella couldn't get akumatized. For that I was slightly at ease. "Hey ladybug! We desperately need your help."

"I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Oh Chat! What are we going to do?! Bella must be scared to death!" I tear came down my cheek. Chat caught it.

He embraced me. "Sh. It's going to be okay. I know you're worried and I am too. We have to stay strong for Bella, okay?" I nodded into his chest.

Ladybug landed in front of us. "What's the emergency?"

"Our daughter has been kidnapped! We think Hawkmoth did it. Can you help us?" I said. She nodded. I tackled her with a hug. "Thank you so much! Let's go!" Chat guided all three of us to his base. I flew up to the glass to see if I could find Bella or spot Hawkmoth. I saw Bella! I could see that see was crying. She was in the same place I was in when I was held a prisoner here. I didn't see Hawkmoth. I flew in the hole through the center.

"Mama! Watch out!" I heard a gurgling noise above me. Before I knew it something fell on top of me. A slimy being. It has claws, and it scratched my leg. I screamed in horror. I was fending off the monster as best I could. I kicked it off me and hit it with my powers. Chat and LB came in. We fought the monster.

Halfway through I ran up to the metal bars that separate Bella and I. I summoned vines to break the bars. I was concentrating so much that I didn't see the amphibious being come behind me. I felt a claw on my back. I collapsed from the pain. I felt blood coming down my back. I heard Chat yell my name then came over to protect me. I put my hands in fists, and the bars finally broke. Bella ran up to me. "Mommy! Are you alright?" I nodded. I tried to stand up but my back wouldn't support me. I fell back on the ground helplessly.

I shoot twice at the monster. I summoned more vines to constrain it. It ripped threw them. It hurt me. I breathed in sharply. Bella was still at my side. I examined the monster. Looking around to were the akuma could be. I spotted a brooch. "Ladybug! The brooch on the right!" I yelled.

She summoned her lucky charm, and a rag came out of the sky. She looked around with her Ladybug vision. Her eyes lit up indicating that she had a plan. "Chat, keep it distracted. Claire just try not to get hit." I nodded. I crawled to one of the corners with Bella behind me.

"Mommy? What's going to happen? I'm scared." Bella whimpered.

"I know sweetie. I'm sorry you had to come here. We are going to get you out of here. It's my fault actually." I stated.

"Why is it your fault?"

"I will tell you when you are older. I promise. I turned to smile at her. Chat was doing a great job distracting. Ladybug came up from behind and scooped up some of the goo off its back with the rag. She dropped it by its feet, and it slipped. Ladybug jumped and broke the brooch. She captured the akuma. She was about to throw the rag into the air when the door at the back to the dome opened.

"So glad to see you, Claire, Chat, Ladybug. I want all your miraculous especially yours," Hawkmoth said pointing at me.

"I would never." I said. I threw my magic at him. It hit him but barely phased him.

"I'm stronger than before, Claire. You are no match for me!" He laughed evilly. I kept Bella behind me and tried to scoot closer to the hole in the window. He came closer and closer to me. I grimaced trying to figure out what to do. I saw Chat who had a very worried look in his face. I looked at Hawkmoth.

"Whatever you do don't hurt Bella." I said.

"Give me your miraculous, and I will leave you and your family alone."

"You promise to stay away?"

"Yes, I promise." He was cowering above me. I grabbed his miraculous and threw it to ladybug. She stomped on it. Hawkmoth detransformed.

"Now you are powerless." I smirked. I threw my magic at him once more and he flew across the room. He groaned in pain. I took a better look at him. He was wearing all black and a mask over his face.

"How dare you! You will all pay!" He grabbed a staff and threw it at me. I couldn't move so all I could do was let it impale me. I was losing blood fast. I was already fading.

"You monster! You are going to pay for hurting her!" I heard Chat say. He started throwing punches at him beating him to a pulse.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" Lady bug cried. My wounds were healed but I still lost a lot of blood.

She ran up to me, and I fainted to the sound of Bella's voice.
