ODESSA landed on the ground with a thud, her bow slung across her shoulder and her dagger in hand. She moved across the forest floor in a crouched position, in front of her was a solider in a large metal suit with a large gun in hand. The gunner was looking for Neytiri who had pressed herself behind a tree to hide.

It was quiet in that moment.

Odessa moved slowly. When she stood behind the large metal suit she was quick to send her dagger into the window of the machine, allowing the toxic air into the lungs of the person controlling the suit. She could hear him gasp for air, and she took that as a chance to move to the front of the suit and reach in through the broken glass, plunging her dagger into the chest of the solider.

"Neytiri?" Odessa called out, aware of the fact that many more soldiers were heading towards her and would be there in only a minute or two. "Neytiri!"

"Ma Dessa?" Neytiri called out, poking her head around the tree she had been hiding behind. She saw the machine against the ground, and the bloody dagger that rested in her mates hand. "Here."

Odessa collided with Neytiri, arms wrapped around each others bodies. "You are okay? No injuries?"

"I am okay. Are you?" Neytiri asked, peaking around the tree and seeing many more people approach. They were stalking forward with the mission to kill. "Are you okay, my Dessa."

Odessa nodded. "I am. I'm okay."

"Odessa? Neytiri?" Jake spoke, his voice coming through the ear pieces both woman had. "Do you copy?"

"Jake." Odessa sighed, pressing her fingers to the com button on her necklace. "There's so many of them."

"Fall back. Do not attack. Do you read me? Fall back! That's an order." Jake hurriedly told them, worried that one of the two would do something that would give away the place they were hiding in. "Do you copy?"

Odessa didn't answer as she shared a look with Neytiri who nodded back to her. The two of them stood on separate sides of the tree, bows in front of themselves. They pulled the string back, an arrow loaded and rested on their fingers. If this was how the two would go out, they would go out fighting for the forest and the people.

The two prepared to shoot, and then the ground beneath them rumbled. The soldiers stilled, looking side to side fit whatever was coming. Odessa could feel the thudding underneath her feet before she saw what was heading towards them.

An oncoming herd of Hammerhead Titanotheres came bursting through the trees, stealing clear of the one Odessa and Neytiri were hiding behind. They went head first, disregarding the bullets that did very little but tickle them, and they charged angrily at the group of men with guns and weapons.

Odessa watched as a hammerhead charged at one of the soldiers she knew as Lyle. His large metal suit broke, toxic air filling his lungs as the hammerhead heaved him into the air before smashing him back down. The person inside the suit screamed as the creature stood on its back legs and came crashing down on his own front legs, crushing them in seconds.

"Eywa has heard you." Neytiri turned towards Odessa who had asked Eywa to help them save the forest. She was stunned and excited. Neytiri cheered. "The Eywa has heard you!"

Jake flew around on Toruk, watching from where he was in the sky. He gazed at all the many aircrafts that still hovered in the air. He couldn't take them down himself, but now that Eywa has heard the pleads for help, he could take them down with the many flying creatures that flew through the air and towards the aircrafts.

"Come on!" Jake yelled out and led Toruk back down towards one of the aircrafts.

Odessa and Neytiri ran with the Viperwolves that had come running through the forest, that had started attacking the humans. The two women fired their arrows at as many of the people they could. They helped the Viperwolves, taking down the enemy.

Odessa stopped suddenly, looking over to her side after hearing an all too familiar snarl. A large Palulukan had approached the two of them, they are the dry mouth bringer of fear. Only neither of the two felt any fear, instead they felt safe in the presence of the Palulukan. It lowered its head downwards, a sign of submission or even respect. Odessa nudged Neytiri forward, who attached her own queue to the Palulukan and formed the bond to become one.

Odessa climbed on behind Neytiri, her arms wrapping around her waist to help keep her steady on the Palulukan. The two rode trough the forest as fast as the creature could carry them. Odessa steered Neytiri towards their small camp where her human form laid. She knew that that's here Quaritch would go if he managed to survive any of the explosions; its where he could kill both her and Jake.

The Palulukan leapt towards the amp suits back and roared out. Quaritch turned as we jumped and lifted his hands, pushing the creatures away. Odessa slid off, moving to where she could climb onto the container and ready herself to shoot Quaritch with the arrows she had.

The Palulukan and Neytiri roared as it moved up on its feet and began attacking the suit. Its jaw snapped ahold of one of the metal arms and pulled him towards the ground with a thud, the window cracking but not breaking. The two moved back to get another attack in and he got up to his feet, starting to shoot at the two. The Palulukan and Neytiri let out their own battle cries, pinning the machine to the ground and beginning to attack the arm with the gun, ripping it away and breaking it into pieces.

Odessa watched as Quaritch there punches towards the Palulukan, who hissed out as the metal collided with its skin. The two (and neytiri who was one with the Palulukan ) to fight. Quaritch received the upper hand by stabbing a dagger into the side of the creature, making both the Palulukan and Neytiri cry out in pain. The blade stabbed into the Palulukan many more times before he plunged the dagger into the heart of the creature, killing it.

"Hey!" Odessa called out, an arrow lodging itself into the suit that Quaritch was in. It landed near in his upper stomach, doing damage but nothing that would kill him that exact moment but slowly over time. Odessa hissed, loading another arrow. "Give it up. It's all over."

"Nothing's over while I'm breathing." Quaritch hissed. The knife he held was flipped into the air and caught in a different position.

Odessa smirked. "I kinda hoped you'd say that."

They charged forward at each other. Odessa held her bow, and as she ran forward she crouched and picked up one of the sharp pieces of the broken gun that Quaritch had used. They both dodged attacks thrown at each other, circling then lunging.

Odessa let out a cry as she collided with the suit, stabbing a piece of metal through the glass and into his chest and shattering the window that kept the toxic air out of the amp suit. Quaritch gasped and Odessa smirked wildly.

Only Odessa was too focused on attacking Quaritch that she had failed to notice that he had thrown something against the container where her and Jakes human bodies laid. It had shattered the glass, allowing air they couldn't breath into the container.
