My mom told me this one a while ago, as in like 6 months, so I only remember like half of this. Based off of a true story?

A young girl walked down the narrow road from her neighbor's house. She had gone over to hopefully make some friends with the people there for the next year before she moved again, like always. 

The air was chilly and a few leaves scattered the ground. The girl had been told to avoid a certain path to her house, on an account of strange sightings there. 

However, the girl decided to go that route anyway because it was the shortest route to her house. 

She felt a chill go down her spine and she looked up to see a woman standing next to the fence on the corner of the street. 

She said nothing, and had no color anywhere in or on her. The girl could partly see the fence she was standing behind. 

The woman watched her intently, dangerously. 

The girl stiffled a scream and continued on her way back to her house terrified.
