It was a couple of weeks before the present, both Chibi and Nixium are outside from their apartment. The two of them were bored and the little white haired girl decided to go out and spend time together.

Although Chibi hates it, he still went along because his brain told him to.

"Why do I kept hearing someone saying that lousy nickname the pest gave me." Chibi's expression changes from a casual one to an irritated one.

"Hey Chibi, can we go to the flowers?" The girl suddenly asked.

"What flowers? I don't see flowers anywhere." He responded.

"The flowers!!" She shouted.

"Go do whatever, I don't care." He sighs and looks to the side.

"Aye!" Nixium said.

In about three seconds later, the small girl instantly disappeared from his side. The face Chibi made when he had just realized it was priceless. Constantly looking around, he began to panic.

"Where'd you go? Hey? Oi pest!... Dammit!!" He proceeded to kick a nearby lamppost.

Nixium can be seen running around the streets with a smile on her face. She took a few turns in the alleys before her finally turn ending up with bumping into someone.

The two fell down on the ground on their butt and took the time to recover from it. After that, they both noticed one another and looked at each others eyes.

The outcome wasn't as expected though.

"Ahhhh!" The both immediately yelled from shock and hid themselves on the wall.

Breathing heavily, they wondered who could've been the other person from the other side.

So, the both of them slowly peeked out from the wall and happen to look at each other once again and the result is immediately hiding themselves back from the wall.

After a short amount of time, Nixium decided to show up to them first. Walking away from the wall and showing herself to the person, she spoke.

"Uh... hallu." She greeted.

"Wah-- Ah!!!" He fell down on his but, again.

"Are you okay?" Nixium asked the person.

"I'm okay... stay away from me!" He warned.

"But why? Nixium won't hurt you!" She protested.

"I can't trust you fully yet.." He said.

"My name's Nixium! What's your name?" She smiled.

"U-uh... Reo.." He hesitated to answer.

"That's cool! Hey, where were you going?" She asked him.

"I was uh, I was looking for someone." Reo said.

"Ooh.. Nixium was looking for flowers!" She smiled.

Reo looked at her for a moment before looking away with a reddened face. A shadow appeared behind him and the both of them noticed it. Looking behind, they spot another person.

"Reo! I found you!" The light blue haired boy runs towards him and tackles him to a hug.

"Rio.. Wha... How did you find me?" Reo asked.

"I was searching every where for you around here. Mao was so worried you know!" Rio told him.

"Sorry, I suddenly lost track on you two so I got lost." Reo explained.

"It's fine, let's go back to Mao now. He might be still looking for us." Rio said to him.

Rio pulls away from the hug and helped Reo stand up. A second later, Rio suddenly noticed Nixium was standing behind them.

"Huh? Who is she?" Rio pointed at her.

"My name is Nixium!"

"Hello Nixium." Rio waves at her and she waves back.

All of a sudden, the white haired girl was picked up by her clothes by Chibi, who was glaring daggers at her for an obvious reason.

"Don't go running away from me and going missing next time or else I'll leave you for good." He warned her.

"Hey, hey Chibi! I made new friends!" She ignored what he had said and pointed at the two.

"Huh?" He gazes at them.

"Uhh...." Reo awkwardly makes gestures.

"Not like I care. Come on now, I'm going to buy some donuts to eat." Chibi placed her back down and started walking away.

Nixium followed suit behind him but before they leave, she looks back and waves at Reo and Rio.

"Bye bye! See you again!" She gives them a heartwarming smile.

"Who are those two?" Chibi asked her as he looks in front.

"They're my friends!" She exclaimed.

"All right then..."

It was back to the present, and the two are currently visiting on what Chibi refers to as only an acquaintance.

"Want some tea?" Mao walks in with a tray of cups.

"Sure then." He grabs one cup and lightly blows the liquid.

"The day sure is nice, isn't it?" Mao smiles as he took a sip of his tea.

"I guess so. It's pretty normal for me." Chibi responded.

"Chibi!!" They heard a familiar voice.

The two of them turn to the left to see Nixium holding a few flowers. She stopped in front of him and hand him the flowers.

"Why are you giving me this?" He asked.

"It's Nixium's gift for you!" She smiles.

"... Okay then.." A tint of red can be seen appearing on his cheeks.

"Aww, how sweet of you two." Mao smiled.

"Please don't be like them too.." Chibi sighed.

"I brought the cookies." Rio comes in with a plate filled with cookies.

"Why thank you, Rio. Have a seat with us if you'd like." Mao told him.

"Okay, I'll join you three." Rio nods and sits along with them, taking a cookie and biting it.

"Where's your twin?" Chibi asked Rio.

"He's busy. Probably practicing again." Rio explained.

"Practicing? Practicing what exactly?" Chibi asked.

"Fighting, he said he wants to get strong." Rio smiled.

"Ain't my Rio got a special twin!!" Mao pulls and hugs him.

"M-Mao! Please let go.." Rio blushed.

"Woaah... Chibi! Hug me!" Nixium tries to wrap her arms around him.
