It's a beautiful day outside.
Birds are singing.
Flowers are blooming.

"Pests like you are better off staying in the corner glooming." I said as I try to push her away from me.

"Nuuuu... Chibi pat me more!" She pleaded as her grip on my leg gets tighter.

"I am not going to do that after so many times! Leave me alone for once!" I yelled.

"Hnng." She only remained in that position.

"... You aren't gonna let me go, are you?" I asked, my expression slowly turning into a deadpan face.

"Nu." She said.

"You asked for it. In the corner of shame you go." I told her as I began to walk towards the corner of the room.

;-;

"I don't wanna stay there, nuuu!" Her eyes began to water.

"If you don't want to then let go of me! I've got no time for pests like you." I clicked my tongue.

"Hello?! Is anybody in there?" We heard a voice coming from outside.

The both of us gazed towards the door and Nixium finally let go of me, I walked towards the door and slowly open it then peeked outside. To my surprise, it was Ron who is the visitor right now.

"Didn't expect you to visit. So what brings you here all of a sudden?" I asked him as I open the door wide, signaling him to enter.

"Nothing much, just wanted to drop by. Oh, and here, I bought these for the little girl." Ron smiles as he shows us a box of donuts.

Immediately, the moment she saw this her eyes sparkled. I grab the box and placed it on the coffee table.

"So how's summer vacation going for you today?" I asked him as I take a seat on my bed.

"Pretty mundane actually, I've only been staying at my dorm this whole time. Though I'm planning on visiting my cousins by next month. All I need is to get Von to come with me." Ron stated.

"Von? I think I've heard of that name before.." I mumbled but he was able to hear it.

"You know my brother?" He asked, looking at me curiously.

"You have a brother?" I said.

"Well, yeah. But we haven't got in touch lately. He's been staying with his friends for the past months." Ron sighed.

You wouldn't wanna know where he is right now, Ron. I think it's better if we leave it this way, for now.

"Donuts..!" The two of us watch the pest grab one donut from the box and nibble it.

Staring at that face of hers made my face go red a bit. I immediately covered my face with my hand in embarrassment. Ron noticed me and chuckled, which is not helpful at all.

"You're now her caretaker, I presume?" Ron asked.

"I guess you can say that.." I answered.

"That's good. It'll be a pain if we see her all alone outsid." He smiled.

"But she's a pest, no matter what. She's lucky that she's still able to stay here." I crossed my arms.

"Geez, being a tsundere is tough." Ron chuckled.

"Don't call me that." I gave him a deadpan face.

"I'll stop, but do you think you can stop a bunch of strangers calling you that everytime?" Ron chuckled.

"What?"

"Nothing, just blurting things out. I should get going now, I'll just head to the library to kill some time." Ron walks out of the room.

"You can stay here and hang out with us if you want." I offered.

"No thanks. I think it's better that the two of you spend more time with each other." Ron's smile has rather become disturbing.

"Fine. I'll see you later. Bye." I waved.

"Later!" He waves back and leaves, closing the door behind.

I sighed and looked down on the floor for a moment before turning towards Nixium, who was still eating the donuts Ron gave. You can say her expression was still as happy as ever.

"Chibi, want a donut?" Nixium offered me one with a bright smile.

Looking back and forth at her and the donut, I slowly took it and take a bite. My face reddened a bit as I eat it.

"Sweet.." I whispered.

"Hehe, Chibi a Tsun-tsun." She grinned.

"I am not. Where'd you even learned that word anyway?" I glared at her.

"Ron told Nixium!!" Her smile annoyed me more.

"... I will kill that guy when I see him again."

"Nuuuu, don't hurt Ron!!" She shouted.

"Don't tell me what to do! I'm gonna take a breather outside." I stood up from the bed and walked outside, leaving her inside to let her continue eating.

I lean my forearms on the railing and look at the buildings and houses from the distance. The weather is nice as usual, it's a bit hotter though.

"Meow." Cat approaches me and lays down on the railing beside me.

"Where have you been all this time?" I looked at it.

"Meow."

"At least you're not as annoying as that pest." I sighed.
