Hello everybody! First art dump of the year! 2023 is going to be a big year for me in my life; graduating and finishing High School, getting into college and all that stuff!

I don't know how active I am going to be with posting giant art dumps like this since this year is going to be crazy sOOOOO yeah. If you just see ten pictures worth of content, I hope now of you mind qvq

Usually I start with stuff I did for people but let's start off with the first picture I finished in 2023!

It is a scene redraw but with my ocs! The scene is from Ouran HS Host Club! I quite reccomend the anime. It's very progressive for its time and all the characters are just ♥️👌

And here is my version with my ocs!

To explain the scene, I gotta explain the anime a little bit ... The main character (Haruchi) is mistaken for a boy when they are a girl (honestly give off nonbinary vibes) and are taken in as a delivery boy because they accidentally broke a vase and treated like a servant because they are a "poor commoner" as everybody that goes to this academy is rich.

The blond dood accidentally walks in on the main character and finds out they are actually a gURL and gets a massive crush on her and begins simping.

The show is very short with 26 episodes and one season... It deserves a second season but frankly, there will probably never be one 😭😭

I think my only gripe was that I didn't make Mitch closer to the camera buttttt I like it regardless.

I really enjoy this, I had so much fun and it was quite fun to draw Archie and his bois (+grandson)

Usually I place art trades, gifts and everything before my own content but I just wanted to share the first drawing of 2023!

So let's get onto the art trade between pastelchromist and I! T'was a custom trade, my dear friends!

Before you say they give off Stolas vibes,lemme explain their species as it was an old 2018ish species from the Mirerralia world! Now, it has been rEVAMPED quite a bit but regardless!

Eqyniox used to be half humans with bird legs and bird wings and bird tails but I decided to go full bird humanoid on this one! They are all bird but they cannot fly. They traded their flight for psychic abilities. They are powerful future tellers and their black eyes are always on the right side of their "mask" and are blind! It only lights up when they are reading the future. Also, they are 7'4" (which is the shortest for their species so uh, yeah) . Dood is inspired off of a snow owl.

They have two forms, their main form and a human form to blend in. They are still half blind in that form and their powers are weakened

They can't fit into pants so a lot often resort to shorts or skirts. Also, they are all unisex but majority prefer masculine terms!

Had a lot of fun designing this galaxy birb and I hope you have a lot of fun with them in your world!! 💛

I really love how soft it looks and how they are posed! I definently wanna get better at making more... Interesting drawings when it comes to dynamic poses and stuff like this so I thought it was good practice!

I definently love their faces and how they're having a good time... Oh, I also love Nacht so .D

Moving onto a redesign for lilspacebirb!

Lils asked me if I could do a redesign for Glitch and, here they are! Their real name is Rame and I gave this boi a makeover.

I kinda struggled with a theme but I think I prevailed over that challenge, deciding to come along with this cyberpunk-themed aesthetic that Jackie had suggested to me when I needed ideas!

I definently wanted to keep the reds since I wanted to stretch your abilities to draw characters in red since you have so few! I really like this design and I hope it finds a good home in your world

Let's take a detour and go back to Jan 31st and visit the last picture of the year

Wacky and out-of-order, I know.

A redesign of Miguel!

I needed a bit of help with ideas for Miguel because I was a bit burnt out when I was sketching so credit for the color blocking and checkered pattern goes to Lils!

Kept the iconic cape because him and Pablo wear it as a special tradition and sign of their brothership; kinda wholesome if you think about it!

Kept his iconic man ponytail. His red, yellow and green colors and had a giant blast! Originally, this wasn't meant to be a reference sheet; however, I was in the car and was going to be in the car for a long while so why the hell not??

Anyways, he looks great and very fresh and I adore that!

Since we are on the topic of redesigns, let's continue to talk about them!

I wanted to redesign and draw these guys for awhile now and finally got around to doing it! Admittedly, their designs were kinda ... Okay? I knew I could do better and since my lineart has grown, why the hell not draw these guys out?

Nebula is the primary protector and often fronts a LOT. He holds a lot of trauma and kinda just gives off "edgy" vibes as his way of coping with it so his design kind of inhabits a moon, "edgy" design!

His twin sister, Achyls, is a prosecutor. She and Nebula kind of have a similar theme of wearing a mask and coming off as "edgy." She often unintentionally takes out self deprecation on the system to make them "stronger" against the abuse. Later down the line, she becomes an ex-prosecutor when she is confronted by Nebula. She doesn't mean harm with her actions, she's just misguided.

Next, Ramona! I didn't change her up that much from when I adopted her from Jackie and she's still a fox humanoid. She's the gatekeeper and she keeps alters from fronting (like littles). She manages stress by reading and doing analytical work!

Unity is the sexual protector and judging by their name, you can probably tell what kind of trauma they experienced. Anyways, Unity is very sunshine and extroverted and often cope by expressing themselves and listening to music and having fun! Fun fact, Unity IS Unisex and helps Liane/Delilah with their sexual identity

Oriane is the soother/relaxer! They are in charge of calming down the system and they are a satyr! I accidentally messed up the eyes but I kinda like it! Brings a lot of personality

And last but not least, Carys! Carys used to be a separate entity but I felt like she'd be a perfect addition to the Comoros System! She is a caretaker and looks after the littles!

I had a lot of fun with this mini project and I cannot wait to redesign Delilah and work on the Yemen System! Always good to have two+ representations in your world !

Next one up was a redesign Jackie had done for me in the past that I have FINALLY drew in my style because I thought I already had finished 😭

In a nutshell: I really adore how she turned out! Reversed Spain looks 👌

I usually don't do anything with neon green so I am glad that Jackie created the color palate and made it so easy to follow since sometimes designs can just be all over the fucking place —

AHHHHHH SHE LOOKS PRETTY!!!

I decided to mash two themes together for her
1.) Sunset
2.) Purple-yellow theme she had going on for her and

To say I am in love is an understatement.

There was nothing wrong with her original design, don't get me wrong! It just didn't fit the feel I wanted it to when I designed her for Oceania and now her aesthetic and outfit ... Matches a bit better!

I have been enjoying these reference doodles, really helps add more to the character, huh?

Anyways. I love her. She is amazing.

Off the topic of redesigns and onto new ocs 👀

I adopted a wonderful custom from the kind pastelchromist because of how much I wanted a gummy shark themed character because it sounds cute, okay??

And volia!

SHE JUST LOOKS SO ADORABLEEEE!

She replaced Querly because there were a lot of things I didn't like about her design and I am glad that Jackie made this VERY aesthetically pleasing oceancore-gummy shark oc!

Just the blues, the shark themed, the shark plushie name Sir Finnegan and just everything radiates amazing energy... I loved it! I loved how geeky she looks and I couldn't help but draw and color her on the same day!

Moving away from adopts and towards updated character references!

First one is Fletcher! Nothing changed about this adorable bean! I kept the monochrome-bird theme since it was sUPER adorable and I still like it a lot!

And last one, I don't think I ever talked about this one bUUUUT I asked a custom from Jackie from awhile ago!

I didn't change a thing about this design Jackie made. It was REALLY adorable and I just?? She was just??

So god damn precious.

Now, she definently looks like she is REALLY young, huh? She is coded as being a young teen!

She babi, she adorable.

This character needs a little explaining before I present them.

Pastel and I were talking about a topic of ship kids and this child was born.

This child was an aCCIDENT and led to a small fight between Paris and Archie. A couple of months go by before Archie talks to Paris as she shuts herself away from the world and ... He gets invited to her birthday party where he first meets Cosette

His daughter.

I took the two parents and I mixed their color palates together and I think I did a pretty good job! The reds came from Archie while the hair color and eyes came from her Mom.

Usually shipkids don't last as they have problems and die prematurely but let's just say that Dione is a bIG SUCKER for depressed dads getting second chances

Here he is in his stripper glory!

If you didn't know, or simply forgot—, Roman is a very well known dancer in HOD. He ends up getting a side gig at a strip club and he.... He is stuck there because the boss doesn't wanna let him go, which feeds into his inferiority complex

I love the lighting! The pose he is in, he just looks extremely expressive and the lights and ... Gawd  ...

He is so pretty in that outfit LMAOO

INNOCENT PEOPLE, YOU CAN LOOK NOW

Another character redraw? This one came with a reference so I decided to place it away from the others because of it

And it is fitting to place it right after Roman since it's his bf Hristo

And here he is!! I updated his hair and gave him a man ponytail because... It just fit well. And also, it is BETTER than whatever that spiky hair I was trying to do in the old reference —

If any of you remembered, there was this ship art picture of Hristo holding coffee and that's kinda been his thing for dealing with Roman sO it had to make an appearance

His outfit remained well enough the same, just added plaid there to make it a lil less one dimensional and I put a reference to his old design in the bottom right corner! Yes, that is canon still.

Anyways, I really like this reference and did some amazing work on Hristo! I am going to be redrawing RomBul sometime in the future so be on the lookout =v=

This art dump has so much content other than redesigns and characters standing there, right?? It would be incomplete without ship art

This is a shared ship between Lils and I; however, this is what the ship looks like in EOTUF !

Aureolous is carrying Luz because A had gotten in trouble and has taken Luz as their "accessory to the 'crime'" even tho it was
1.) A prank
2.) Luz had nothing to do with it

I REALLY love the lighting and their dynamic in general, it's so cute and makes me wanna spam my keyboard of random keyssssssss!

The pose was difficult but I am glad that it turned out really good in the end! This is probably one of my favorite shipart I have done between my oc and someone else's

Next one is actually a redraw of a ship art ; however, I didn't have room to place it here so you're gonna have to take my word on it looking cringe —

After Blue had redesigned Araceli, I KNEW I had to redesign ship art of them and after a long time , I finally completed that said goal!

I love their dynamic, I love how pure they look and the lighting helps bring the softness out..  Adorable 😍

And the last shipart of this art dump was suggested by Jackie!

I wanted to do something a lil different so I went with a small stroll at night! I actually attempted to do a background and I think I nailed it?? They are behind a giant bush while their are mountains in the background and a night sky! The lighting rEALLY helps sell it that it's nighttime, I think I did good!

Now, let's talk about the characters.

As much as I loved Vincent's OG design, I wanted to change it up a bit and I really like this outfit! His OG outfit is going to be his second outfit.

Rose didn't change at all, she looks as adorable as always! I had a lot of fun drawing the two of them together and will totally do more with them in the future!

Last picture is a book cover!

I may change it to be red so it fits with the rainbow cover theme I have going on but I adore it! I referenced the pose and I decided to add a bookshelf to help the cover stick out a lil more

I may tweak it to add some more Archie "aesthetic," like a teacup or something of the sort but I'm happy with it so far!
