Imagine #21: Forever In A Day (Part 1)

Today's supposed to be a great and happy day since you'll be starting your vacation this day...but since you got that news last night, you've done nothing but to grief while listening to their music. Fall Out Boy just officialy announced that they're breaking up.

You've been a fan of that fan for years and you somehow feel this connection with the band, but now it's already going away. That really made you upset and you know you won't fully forget that even when you're in vacation.

You sighed, packed your bags and headed to the country side to enjoy your peaceful vacation there. Your earphones are booming with loud songs of the boys. The band might break up, but the culture they made will be remembered for centuries, you thought and smiled to yourself.

You're taking your time in your ride and you really know that this will take long, but you didn't mind, in fact, you enjoy this. You left the city and now you can enjoy the country vibe. Green grass, high beautiful mountains and mesmerizing sights. It's been a while from thw last time you got in here because of your work, but screw that all now. Also, you didn't mind that you're alone in this vacation.

You kept on driving and there weren't anymore car around the bumpy road. Suddenly, you saw someone waving from afar, it looks like someone's car broke down in the middle of the road. Of course, you stopped to help. After you parked you just climbed out of your car and you almost choked in there when you saw the person who needed help.

"Thank you for stopping! I've been here for an hour now." It was Patrick Stump, the vocalist of the band that you love that just broke up last night. He was adjusting his fedora hat and you can see that he's embarassed or something.

"M-Mr. Stump." You murmured stupidly. Of course you're star strucked! He's your idol and crush and you're just taken back right now.

"Please, just Patrick. Looks like you know me and somehow a fan?" He asked and cutely laughed. He might have heard the loud music coming from my earphones which is hanging on my shirt now.

"Oh." You giggled. "A big fan! A big enough fan that cried tears you'll never see last night." You sadly joked and Patrick sadly smiled at you. "No hard feelings though, I mean there must be a legit reason for it. We, the overcast kids, fully respect that decision." You added.

"I'm...we're really sorry." Patrick said and you felt bad for bringing up the topic.

"So! What seems to be the problem?" You asked to change the topic.

"The battery died, I already called for help but they said it'll arrive two to three hours later." He answered.

"Well, there's only one place that we'll arrive to if we keep on driving this road and I think it's your lucky day, Patrick, since I'm going that way too." You cheerfully told him. "I'll give you a ride and let help arrive to your car later, it's in the middle of the afternoon, your pale white skin doesn't belong under the sun." You said with a giggle and he laughed too.

"You're an amazing girl." He said which made you blush.

Patrick took his belongings in his car and went straight to your car. He sat at the passenger's seat.

"I'm {Y/N}, by the way." You introduced yourself. "Are you also having a vacation?" You asked and started to drive.

"No...just...I just need to do a lot of things in there." He said while smiling to himself. "And I think fate has already given me my companion." He added and smiled at you.

Well, you could get use to that...besides, two is always better than one.
