After completing the practise during the zero hour ,the staffs responsible for the event decided to leave for shopping as they had to choose the costumes for the respective activities and place the orders with the required count. Annika thought of asking shivaay if he could also accompany them , she just couldn't be very clear but it's certain that she really likes his company , likes the unique feel which emerges in her when he's near ... true that she likes him too!

Since he had another commitment today he decided to leave earlier and was packing his bag when he saw her entering inside the room.

A- shivaay ?

S- haan angel,

A- uhh, actually we staffs are going to the shop. Vo costumes decide karni haina , I denied to go first...what will I do there .But Elakya mam ne muje force kiya tha, so we're planning to leave now . I thought if you're free ,you could come along ...

She insisted hesitantly, while the next second he knew all his other plans would vanish. He loves to spend time with his angel !

S- I'm all free today angel ,I'll come .

He said happily ,

A- your sure ? I mean sorry for disturbing you ,

S- not at all angel ,I'm ready!

The staffs split into groups and engaged themselves in selecting things for their respective events . While shivika went to the designer's boutique, to find an apt costume which suits the dance.

Shivaay was caught up with confusion for choosing the right colour, feeling his constant silence she spoke after nudging his shoulder,

A- what happened shivaay?

S- angel ,I'm confused with choosing the colours. Black and white or Red and black ,

A- you could have asked me right? I know , I'm blind but still...I remember how colours would look ... I ...know

She spoke with intervals within her words while he mentally slapped himself for not approaching her ,

S- nahi angel , I didn't mean (interrupted)

A- it's ok ,now let's select. Both are actually good combinations, but I feel that with the theme which we have chosen, black and white would do .

S- great!

Then shivaay was engrossed in discussion with the designer regarding the count and stuffs while annika sat on the nearby lounge. That's when she heard a voice ,

" hey ,yahan deko na iski ear stud ,ek white hai aur dusra pink . Is it a new fashion or what?" ( a sales girl who passed by annika said this to another one and both giggled)

Shivaay who just came towards her also heard this. He looked at her to find her to be removing her studs , she seemed hurt which he couldn't take .

She was about to put them inside her bag when she halted feeling his hand to have been holding her's .

A- vo kya haina , the sculpt design is the same in both ...it's a rose stud . I think I collapsed with the colours,

She spoke while tracing her thumb on the stud ,how much ever she tried to act normal he clearly made out her gloomy face . It might be a very normal thing , but for her, it was something which was registering that she was incapable to even carry out such casual things . If not she had hurried out from her house this morning , her mother would have noticed it, but unfortunately.

Shivaay silently took the studs from her hands and she remained confused .

A- what ?

S- ek minute,

He responded and instantly signalled a small girl who was roaming around the shop with her mommy ,to come near him.

" kyun bulaaya muje?,soon bathayiye "

Annika stayed quite ,still with no idea of what he was upto.

S- ye kaisi hai ?

He showed her the rose studs ,watching which the child smiled brightly.

" woooow! Bahut pretty hai"

S- aapko pasand hai ? Lijiye phir,

He extended it to her and she immediately shook her head in no,

" mommy kehthi hai ...strangers se kuch lena nahi"

She said with a pout ,and shivika chuckled listening to it.

S- very good , actually I wasn't going to give it to you anyhow . Ye iss didi ka hai, so will you do me a help?

"Hmm" she nodded obediently,

When annika was leastly expecting anything she suddenly felt him piercing the studs in her ears ,and clutching it.

A- shivaay ? What are you doing ?

He just held her hand with a firm grip indicating her to wait before turning towards the child .

S- ab bathayiye , kaisi lag rahi hai ye ?

The girl neared annika and tried lifting her chin, feeling such tiny fingers on her skin, annika smiled innocently.

" bilkul vo princess jaisi, I've seen in cartoon too ...that queen also wore flower studs, aap bahut beautiful hai! "

She exclaimed cutely, while annika smiled.

S- haina...

He whispered slowly ,lost in his trance with his eyes completely landed on his angel .

" teek hai , mein chalthi hoon . Mommy will be searching .Bye!"

She ran ,waving her hand towards them .Annika just stayed quite with her lips covered in a confused smile when she felt his palm which he had placed on her hand hesitantly.

S- this is it angel , certain things imperfect hokkar bhi perfect ban jathe hain. You're very strong angel ,never let anyone hurt you.

His soft delicate voice just did something to her at that instant ,for a moment she did forget that she was defected . It was indeed a great feeling which brew inside ,a kind of confidence which increased. She gripped his hand tightly before passing a strong smile ,and nodded . He sensed his heart flourishing joyfully ,like it had achieved something big.

A- why do I feel this new year is kind of special for me ?

S- why ? New year is special for everyone, like everyone sees it as a new beginning!

He answered casually ,and she shook her head instantly.

A- not for me atleast, two years back I lost my eye sight on the new year night .

She said with a fine smile playing on her face ,she didn't seem to be hesitant in saying it . His face was trying to settle in some reaction on hearing her ,he didn't expect this .

S- I'm sorry ,

He muttered slowly ,

A- no ,no that's fine.

With a pause spanned for a minute she spoke,

A- it was the new year celebration event at our academy ,time 1.30 am tha.

Flashback

After the celebration , annika was leaving back home. Since the whole city was celebrating ,the road was jammed around. When she was approaching her car, she slipped suddenly and missed her car keys somewhere down . She bent down and searched for it ,there were numerous vehicles spread along the road making it more difficult for her to find the keys . And somehow she found it beneath an auto which was parked there. She leaned down and tried reaching it and failed to notice a car infront of her as she was completely facing the auto . Suddenly she felt a red light spot hitting her side, and that's when she looked back to find the car taking reverse . Before she could even shout ,she felt being hit on her back ,and immediately she banged on the headlight of the auto which was behind. At the time none noticed this, even the car left taking a U- turn towards the other side . In that congested road,people could merely notice that .

Ends

A- my face hit the light ,and the glass pieces (her shaking hands traced her eyes) I always believed in coincidence until ,... the last person whom I saw before (she gulped and blinked taking a pause ) was ...was him ,

The last few words from her just ended to be a slow whisper,

S- kaun ?

He asked being curious ,

A- you remember? The blue eyed man ...my crush ! (She exclaimed )I saw his image in the side mirror of that car which hit me .

The moment she concluded ,she felt his hands to have been pulled back from her's with a sudden jerk .

A- kya huwa?

S- uhh, just now I remembered. I've some important work ,I should go . The other staffs are in the next shop ,you can leave with them don't wait for me .

He stated hurriedly and left from there before she could even respond ,

Breaking everything which his hands could reach, he banged himself on the bed . How could life be this brutal with him? He doesn't remember anything which happened that night ,because he himself was not in his senses . Being forced by his friends ,he had taken alcohol and with all of them to have gone high, only he was stable enough to drive them home. That's all he knew about that night ,but ...because of him ...he is the reason for her...these thoughts were ready to kill him. How was he ever going to revert back from this guilt ? He will never be able to forgive himself . Punching his hand continuously on the wood board of the cot ,he facepalmed letting tear drops to soon make their way down from his eyes .He had no courage to face her ,suddenly he could feel everything falling apart . His tears remained unstoppable,

With him not appearing for the practise and remaining idle without attending her calls for the past two days ,she grew tensed and worried . She can feel herself struggling with his thoughts completely surrounded in her . She has been with him since just few days and now , did she  already got used to him ? It's true that she has somewhere started liking him!

She couldn't stop herself from reaching his residence. The closed door moved inwards with her knock indicating that it wasn't locked , and she slowly moved in . Hearing the barking sound ,she bent down and caressed Tom's skin near his ear . He didn't seem to stop his noise ,

A- arey ,kya huwa Tom?

Immediately he collected her shawl into his mouth and moved forward pulling her along . Following Tom , she reached shivaay's room . And again Tom started barking,

A- what happened and where did you bring me Tom? ...shivaay ? Where are you ?

She took small steps infront ,her knees hit the bed which she caught hold and sat on. Tracing her fingers , she was surprised to feel his skin . Why is he staying quiet? The wetness which his face held, depicted that he had been crying . Within no seconds her fingers were already wiping all over his face . Feeling a kind of extreme soothing ,he opened his eyes only to find her so close to him . He got up and sat facing her ,

S- angel ... ? You're here ?

A- tum teek ho ?

She asked being worried ,

S- yeah , I'm...Im ok.

He said in a low voice which clearly mentioned that he lied .

A- I know you're lying, kuch tho hai . It's ok shivaay, it's ok if you think I shouldn't know. Par tum mere friend ho, I want to be there for you in all your tough times ...bas ye yaadh rakhna .

She admitted frankly and tried getting up but halted feeling his grip .

S- I'm sorry angel ,I didn't want to hurt you .

Her face went deeply dull listening to his cracked voice .

A- hey , it's ok . You didn't hurt me , it's ok shivaay .

She insisted cupping his face ,and instantly he hugged her tightly as she felt an immediate push backwards for which she had to grip her hand on the bed to stop herself from hitting the bed . His face near her neck brought an unimaginable sensation in her as she didn't expect this suddenly. Her hands automatically reached his head and started ruffling his hair while the other was caressing his back soothingly. She definitely knew something was wrong ,but since he hesitated to open up she didn't want to force him .

He felt an immense peace delivering his own self entirely in her embrace . What if she leaves him if she knows the truth ? No, that's the most dangerous nightmare for him, because he has become dependent on her and he knew it . She ,as  Ms.A was already his only desire from his past adding to it ,his Angel was like his only family now. Being alone wasn't very easy for him , everyday he returns home to find none for him ... terrible. With her care and concern ,he has grown dependent on her which was unstoppable because it had just developed within him .His firm grip around her waist announced with an inner voice in him that 'he needs her'

S- don't leave me angel ,

She heard him whispering below his voice ,as she tilted his head to make him meet her eyes .

A- I'll be with you...always ,

She herself didn't realize how the last word just slipped out of her tongue ,watching him like that even she felt hurt. Listening to her assuring words ,his face presented a faint smile which she noticed and smiled back .

Soon he  realized his position and pulled back ,there  prevailed an awkward silence immediately.
