The Stratosphere, Las Vegas

Oh, just casually walked off this building while I was on holiday there. You know, as you do.

It's over 800 feet high, and you can just about see the blue speck on the very top of it. That, my friends, is the platform you hold onto before you walk off the edge and free fall to the ground 240 metres below you.

So yeah, that happened. I love heights and thrills, but the most apprehensive part is standing on the edge of that tiny platform and knowing you have to take a step forward into nothingness.

But once you're falling it's so tranquil. Shame it only lasts a couple of seconds!

It's not every city you can find an illuminated castle...

An indoor Venetian waterway...

A pirate ship...

And the Eiffel Tower...

All within walking distance. xD
