Big Apple Arcade in Akihabara, Tokyo

You may have heard arcades mentioned in anime. They seem like the place to be if you're a guy with nothing better to do. They're nothing like arcades in the UK though. None of those penny push machines or claw machines stuffed with toys, or air hockey tables. This one was four storeys tall, deafening, flashing, and jam-packed even in the middle of the day. I managed to snap this row of empty seats after a few minutes of loitering around in pure sensory overload -- guess they must be the rigged ones.
