I followed suit to the kitchen. "Havock we've got a ungrateful git" I sneered from the doorway.  Drawing my dagger ; Marcus and Gen let go of him. "Oh really?" Havock spoke lowly then took a big chop in a fish he was preparing . He slowly turned to Arthur a scowl painted on his lips. Havock took pride in his food you could tell just by looking at his belly, he would try every meal before serving it to make sure it was great and to his standard and hated when others took his hard work for granted. "What about putting him to work, he's a waste rotting in that cell " I looked across my dagger smirking as I felt a cold glare. I rose my eyes to meet his emerald ones, he looked pissed. "What's wrong sour puss? " I qouestioned pionting my knife towards him. He let out a small growl his eyes narrowing. A knife barely missed his face, the shock that sprung to his face was close to sending me in a fit of giggles. "Speak when you're spoken to laddie!" Havock warned readying another knife. "ugh F##king a###hole" he turned his head mumbling curses under his breath he was lucky Havock only had one auditable ear or he'd be a dead man "What was that lad?" Havock asked grinning manically. "Nothing" the brit huffed. "Marcus, Gen go up top and help Matthias" I ordered "I'll be watching over this twit" I pointed my knife lazily at Arthur his face became even more sour if it even was possible. I sat on a stool and watched as Havock set the sod to work. I kept a keen eye on him knowing a captain would always have a few tricks up their selves and it's better to find them out sooner rather then later. "No knifes Havock" I warned him as he was about to give him a chopping job "Ok you can peel potatoes then" he sighed passing him a peeler and a sack of potatoes. Kirk grumbled, so he wanted a knife huh? I watched him intently. His eyes rose to mine in a stare as if to challenge me; his glare sent shivers down my spine. I looked away only to hear a flurry of footsteps and feel a thin blade on my throat. He held me by the back of the neck and held the potato peeler to my air pipe. I let out a gasp at his sudden actions. His eyes bored into mine even when he threaten me with an injury I couldn't stop but too stare into those deep bottomless seas of green. Before I could even let out a breath Havock had dragged him away from me. I could feel the blood trickling down my neck "Fu#k" I breathed wiping at it with my fingers. Havock had a knife to the lads throat ready for me to give the order to kill him. "Good move unluckily for you only minor damage was caused" I hissed bringing back up my defensive. He was still staring, he could have done way more damage so why just a little cut. "One more action like that and I kill ye" I warned placing my daggers point on his stomach, he watched my actions intently was that a smuge smirk? "Havock I'm going to my quarters I'll send Gen and Marcus back to assist ye, teach this Bas###d a thing or two" I ordered leaving "Aye Cap" I heard him call. I sent the two back and bumped into Mathias on the way to my quarters "is that blood?" he asked trying to peer at the small wound. I tried to duck past him clutching at my Neck, he didn't budge. "Show me" his voice edged on serious; Grudgingly I lowered my hands.
He lifted my chin to have a better look and ran his finger along the wound causing me to cringe at the small stinging pain "Who did this?" his eyes burnt with anger. Ever since I've know him, he's always became enraged when anyone dared to hurt people close to him, he'd always refer to me and farther as family. I remember when farther got slash by another pirate in a battle and Mathias charged in carelessly and killed them with on hit heavy hit to the noggin. "It doesn't matter " I sighed trying to make him drop it. "(F/N) you might be captain now but that doesn't mean ye don't tell me things" he raised his voice slightly looking me dead in the eye. "Kirkland bloke...." I anwsered quietly withdrawing my eyes. "Thank you" he said softly give me a hug then storming down the corridor. Well Kirk's dead meat now. Soon I reached my quarters and washed at my neck and put a thin bandage round it. I left a note on my desk for Matthias asking him to take night shift as it felt like I haven't slept properly in days; then crawled into bed and fell into a dark cold slumber.
