"Sunoo." Saebyeol reached her hand to his sleeve and pulled it causing Sunoo to lower his chin and fix his eyes on Saebyeol who was sitting on the bed in half asleep. He put his books down, bent his body lower to her height, and wait for her to continue speaking.

"I have a wish."She continued.

"Can we go out today? Only this time."

"Saebyeol, you're sick--"

Saebyeol held his hand tighter and shook her head, "Please..." She replied in a whispering tone before tucking her body closer to his embrace and hugging him. Sunoo was speechless and all he could do was hug her back as a way to comfort her who was crying in his embrace.

Sunoo realized that Saebyeol was at her lowest right now. She was exhausted and became so weak affect a few times of having the treatment ever since she got hospitalized. The doctor told her about her condition making her feel more pressured and weak than she used to be. She kept thinking negatives of herself, slowly giving up on her living.

So, she wants to go out with him, in case she will never get this opportunity again.

Sunoo patted her back gently,
"Alright. I will talk about this to the doctor."

Saebyeol nodded and titled her head to look at Sunoo. He was smiling, gently wiping off her tears and stroking her cheeks.
"It's okay, Saebyeol. Everything will be alright. Just being positive."

"Thank you, Sunoo."

"Be careful, Saebyeol." Sunoo held her wrist and pulled her closer to him when people kept bumping into her shoulder while walking through the hallway. Saebyeol was about to take his hand off from her but he suddenly interlocked his finger with her causing her heart to beat faster.

The memories when they were dating crossed her mind again. She might didn't realize this, but she misses the moment so much. Seeing Sunoo by her side, she remember the moment she fell in love with him. She still remembers the moment he confessed his feeling to her and asked her to be his girlfriend. It was a beautiful day for Saebyeol, she has been waiting for the time to happen for a long time and gladly, her love got returned.

Sunoo often does this when they were hanging out together. He will keep her safe when they went to the crowded place and protect her like he was her mother. Sunoo was so protective and caring, that's why a lot of people fell in love with him.

Saebyeol smiled at Sunoo as their eyes met and looked around the stalls to buy some food. The festival was so fun especially at night, so it was a great decision to spend her time here.

"What do you want to eat?" Sunoo broke the silence. "Anything you like." She chuckled and they continue walking.

After a few minutes of buying some food and drinks, they finally arrived at the park where people often spent their time to. Even though it was almost midnight here, there were still a lot of people who were spending their time here. They were talking to their friends, playing around the park, and laying on the mat while looking at the sky.

Sunoo prepared the mat for Saebyeol and helped her to serve the food. When they have done, they enjoyed the food while talking to each other about random things.

Suno stared at Saebyeol and chuckled,
"You look so happy."

"Thanks to you," Saebyeol replied, smiling sweetly. She then took a sit closer to him until their shoulder touched making Sunoo look at her in confusion. "Why?" He asked her softly.

"I want to enjoy the moment I have now, Sunoo."

"Before it's too late." She continued.

"Saebyeol, don't say that--"

"Sunoo, nothing will be alright at this point. you don't need to give me comforts anymore. What if I say that I'm giving up...?"

Sunoo quickly held her shoulder,
"Saebyeol, back to your sense."

"Sunoo, I'm giving up. I don't want to have the treatment anymore. I will never get cured. I'm going to die, Sunoo." Tears dropped on her cheeks. "So, don't do anything anymore. I don't want to attend the appointment. I just want to wait and slowly leave."

"Lee Saebyeol, please. This is not funny. You get the chance to have the treatment. You can get cured."

Saebyeol smiled, "Please let me leave."

"No, Saebyeol. Why do you need to do this to me? I don't want to lose anyone in my life."

"Sunoo, do you love me?"

Saebyeol stroke his cheeks,
"Believe your heart."

"What are you talking about?"

She shook her head and chuckled,
"Don't give me the answer yet. Let's wait first."

Sunoo was about to speak up again but someone suddenly interrupted him.

"Nam Jeho?"

"Kim Sunoo, I didn't expect we will meet here." Jeho laughed and greet Saebyeol.

"Is she your girlfriend?"

Sunoo looked at Saebyeol and changed the topic, "What are you doing here, Jeho? Are you coming with your girlfriend, Horang?"

Jeho nodded, "There will be a fireworks show later. So, we decide to watch it together. It will be so romantic."

Sunoo raised his eyebrows, "Fireworks...?"

"Will there be a fireworks show tonight?" He repeated and Jeho nodded.

"Why?"

Sunoo sighed when Chaewol crossed his mind. He shook his head and greet Horang who was a girlfriend to Jeho. "I will go first," Jeho said and they left, preparing the mat and sitting not that far from Saebyeol and Sunoo.

"Do you know that there will be a fireworks show tonight? Is that why you want to be here?"

Saebyeol nodded, "I love watching fireworks."

"I thought you already know about this." She asked him and he shook his head.

"Why...? What's wrong with watching fireworks? are you scared?" Saebyeol asked him curiously.

"Nothing. I'm just thinking of someone." He replied calmly and took out his phone.

His eyes got widened when he received a lot of texts from Chaewol. As he was about to read her texts, the fireworks show started.

He looked at the fireworks that were sparking in the sky without saying anything and took a glance at Saebyeol who was resting her head on his shoulder.

"Fireworks, it's so beautiful and romantic."

Saebyeol tilted her head to look at him and her eyes widened when they were too close. They didn't even move from each other and just shut their mouth silent.

Saebyeol let out a deep breath and gently stroke his cheeks with her eyes fixed on him.

after a split of seconds,

their lips collided.
