3 years later

Lucy Pov

"We are back form the mission." Erza shouted, walking through the double wooden doors of the guild. Mirajane welcome us back. Juvia,Gray, Erza and I just came back from a S-class quest with the permission from the master. We settle down on one of the tables. The rest of the guild hasn't changed, it was still as noisy as ever. I smiled thinking about the first day I arrived here.

"Lucy?" Erza asked waving her hand in front of me. I snapped out of my day dream and realised that they were all looking at me like they were expecting something.

"Did you say something?"

"We asked if you wanted to go on a date?"

"Date?" I stared at Gray, this was unlike him to mention something like that.

"Yeah, a blind one." Juvia added. Around me they all nodded their heads, I sighed.

"No. I promised Nastu." All their eyes dropped to the table top. I opened my mouth to say something in rebuttal but decided against it. It's silly I guess waiting for something like this. It makes no sense. I sighed. I'm pathetic. Then the guild started to shake. I haven't felt this in a long time. I looked outside the windows and sure enough the walls were rising.

He's back.

I jumped out of my seat and rushed to the front doors. I saw them. Even from a distance, I recognise his hair, the way he walked and who could have missing the little flying buddy. I stood there, my mouth pulled into a huge smile and my eyes welled up with tears. He is getting closer. I felt like a little girl about to get her toy from the mall. Halfway there, he started running.

Nastu Pov

I saw her. She was in front of the guild. Watching. Waiting. I need to get to her faster. I want to feel her in my arms so I run towards her. Her eyes were wet but she was wearing a huge smile. I threw my backpack onto the fall and dashed to her.

Lucy Pov

It all happened so fast. He was coming closer and closer. Then I was lifted of the ground into the air. A pair of strong, warm arms warped around my waist. He gently lowered me till we were at eye level. We were both breathing hard. The tears has started to fall but I was laughing.

Nastu Pov

She was laughing and crying at the same time. I wiped her cheeks and leaned my for head on hers. My mouth pulled into a crazy happy grin. I can't remember when was the last time I felt this way.

"Lucy." I breathed.

"Nastu." She cried.

"I live you." I reply before planting my lips onto her sweet ones. She wrapped her arms around my neck to pull me closer. I held her by the waist.

"Welcome home." She said when we released.

"Good to be home."
