Natsu pov

"I'm fine. Natsu I-" I'm placed a finger on her lips to stop her from talking, her body tensed from my touch. I'm leaned in closer to her ear so that the rest would not be able to hear what I'm was about to say to her.

"Stay away from Lucy do you understand?" I whispered, my every word was serious and she knew it. She gulped bit nodded her head slightly. "Good."

I stood up from there chair next to her bed and started to walk back to Lucy.

"Take care of yourself Lisana." I'm said to her without looking back. I smiled there moment I'm was by my girlfriend side again.

"What did you say to her?" Gray asked, everyone expect me turned to look at her.

"Nothing." I replied. They all went silent, they knew me well enough not to continue asking.

"Tell us about the mission. " Lucy said, breaking the silence.

"Someone had a good time." Erza commented, rasing an eyebrow at Gray and Juvia's direction causing them to blush and Wendy, Lucy to snicker.

"Enough of us. I want to know what happened." Gray eyeing the two girls lying in bed. Lucy then launch into her side of her story and I added in some of my parts of when we were separated. I knew that Lisana was watching us as we laugh and talk from across the room but I refuse to turn to look her her.

"Lucy! Want to go on a mission?" Its been a week since the incident. Happy and I was at the edge of her room's window about to climb in to look for Lucy. It has also been a week since we went on a mission and I was tired of sitting around and doing nothing.

"Where is Lu-shee?" Happy wondered out liud as he floated into her room, I followed behind. She looked around her room but she wasn't there, I started to worry a little.

"Natsu." Happy whispered, pointing towards the direction of the bathroom. It was then I heard the sound of running water.

"Ahhhh!" Lucy screamed and wrapped herself in the nearest towel which was hanging a few feet away. It was only a few feet but it allowed me to get a look of her beatiful body. It made me realsied how much I wanted to explore every inch of her. "What are yoy two doing here?" She finally caught her breath anf stop panting just enough to say that.

"We want to go on a mission." I repiled with a big smile on my face.

"Aye sir!" Happy backed me up. Lucy lokked in between us and sighed before nodding.

"Let me go get changed and we can go." She said as she headed out of the bathroom.

"I thought you were going to tell her?" Happy questioned as soon as Lucy was out of earshot.

"Not yet Happy." I sighed. "Not yet...." I asid to no one is particular.

"Natsu! Happy! Im ready!" Happy looked at me once more with worry in his eyes, I gave his head a little reassuring rub before bouncing off to Lucy.

"Natsu watch out!" Lucy screamed, I turned and gave the monster a fist full of fire. Lucy was already panting. She has already summoned three spirts, her magic level must be low right now. She reached for her keys and summoned Aries.

Aries formed a cloud of fluff around the monsyer causing him to get confused. I took the opportunity and attacked him with all my might. With one last blow the monster stumbled and fell to the ground. Lucy walked over to me, she was still panting madly.

"Lucy are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine."

"Lucy....."

"Yes Natsu?"

"I...I have something to tell you." She titled her head to the side, confused. Happy was surprisingly silent during our exchange. I pulled her under a tree and sat her down. I smoothed down my clothes, took a deep breath and combed my hair before I dropped my hands and looked down at Lucy. She was staring up at me, waiting for me. I loomed over at Happy for some encouragement before I open my mouth and let the words fall out.

"Lucy, I'm leaving town." Her eyes widen and her mouth dropped. "Gildarts asked me to go on a mission with him and I just couldn't turn him down. I'm sorry." Her mouth opened and closed but no sound came out.

"What about everyone? Have you told them? Why am I the last to know?" I kept silent, I know she was hurting and it was hurting me too but couldn't say anything. What hurts the most was what she said next, I was waiting for her to say those three words but I never imagine that it will hurt this bad.

"What about me?" Tears escaped her eyes, she got up, pushed me away and ran.
