"Puddlesunset!" A cat calls out. She turns around to a cat beckoning with their tail. "Want to join me for a stroll around the territory?"

Puddlesunset nods. "Of course!" The duo leaves the camp, side by side. It's quiet as the cat takes Puddlesunset around the territory. As they walked, the cat stumbled. The russet she-cat ran over. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine..." They look over their shoulder at a large ditch. "Has that always been there?"

Curious, Puddlesunset looks over the edge. "No idea, I don't recall ever seeing-"

Before she could finish her sentence, the cat shoved her into the ditch. Desperately, Puddlesunset tried jumping out of the hole. The cat, however, was prepared and caught her mid air by the hind leg. Their tail covered their mouth as they swiftly broke her leg and threw her into the ditch. 

Puddlesunset looked up as the cat coldly stared at them, swiping dirt over the hole. "Sweet dreams!"

Nightwhisker pounced, pinning a mouse down. The tom proudly digs a small hole to put the catch in, when someone calls out his name. "Nightwhisker?"

He glanced over, then blinked at the cat in greeting. He drops the prey and covers it before turning around "Hello!" The cat dips their head, looking at the prey.

"That's a good catch." They mutter.

"Thanks." Nightwhisker mews, scenting for more prey.

The cat lifts their tail. "Did you hear that?" They ask, looking past a clump of bushes. The black tom stopped, not hearing anything. He shakes his head. "C'mon, I think it's this way."

The duo makes their way to the bush, where there is the smell of prey. Nightwhisker padded into the bushes, trying to stay as silent as possible. As the smell gets stronger, he notices that there is prey, but it was already killed. Suddenly, the cat pounces on Nightwhisker, clawing at him. The tom throws them off, immediately running somewhere more open.

The cat comes out of the bush, their green eyes burning with hatred. "Why are you doing this?" Nightwhisker calls.They hiss, seemingly getting ready to pounce, yet the cat seems to stop themselves. With one last hiss, they stalk away without answering.

"Sanddragonpaw, do you wanna train?" A cat asks, and the apprentice nods excitedly. It would only be a few more moons until they could rank up. He needed all the training he could get. "Good, let's go."

The cat pads through the forest, Sanddragonpaw following right behind. The cat leading stopped after a while, turning around to face the apprentice. They looked tired, yet their eyes where burning with determination. "Let's practice... battling!"

Before the black tom could react, the cat pounced at him. Sanddragonpaw quickly moved out of the way, striking their side with their claws sheathed. The cat ran at him again, striking his face and flank. Claws ripped at his skin, and he yelped, backing away. "I thought we were just training?"

The cat purred in amusement. "As if." They jumped again, and the apprentice dodged. They stopped, exhausted, to catch their breath.

"Sanddragonpaw!" Both cats turned to see Spicypaw and a few other cats running over. "Behind you!" The ginger she-cat shouted. Looking behind himself, he saw a large hole. Large enough to put a cat in. The attacker attempted to get away, but was surrounded. Quietly, Sanddragonpaw was taken to the medicine den while the accused cat was brought to Madeline.
