Shadepool sighs, her head drooping. No matter what she does, she always feels like a failure. She lost the Gravity Shift she has been dreaming of winning, and now she's staring at a pile of herbs that are the exact opposite of what she was supposed to get.

A rustling disturbs her inner-conflict. She laughs darkly. "What now? Am I being blessed with a murderer? All I ask is that you end it quickly."

"That's a fair request," a voice answers. Shadepool finds herself pinned against the forest ground.

"An experienced murderer? What did I do to deserve your magnificent attention?"

"You were heavily involved with cats whom I very much dislike. Let's say that." The cat rips into Shadepool's throat, following her request for a quick death. They then hop up and vanish into the night, mimicking an elusive creature of the wild.

Indigo flaps her pretty blue wings, landing on a tree branch. Singing a song that only a bird is intelligent enough to understand, she enjoys the feeling of warm sunlight against her feathers.

A cat sneaks through the forest, tired from previously exhausting activities. Unsheathing their claws, they jump and try to thwack the tree branch where the blue jay rests. They narrowly missing, agitating Indigo.

Squawking indignantly, she starts to get very loud. The cat panics and jumps again, claws missing their target by only a couple centimeters. She gets even louder, the noise resembling an alarm.

"Die! Die, you dumb bird!" The cat hisses.

"What in the name of all things not-holy-," Splashdeer angrily hollers. He then notices the peculiar scene in front of him. Aspencry, paws outstretched, is trying to massacre a bird. Dark blood sticks to their fur, a quite haunting apperancce.

"I just wanted to hunt," mumbles the disturbed Star, who launches themselves at the cat and swiftly apprehends them.
