I wish I could be violent...

I'd slap you around the head,

to punish you for all the nasty

things that you have ever said.

I wish I could be violent...

I'd kick you on the bum,

to pay you back for all the nasty

things that you have done.

I wish I could be violent...

I'd slap you on the wrist.

Turn you arm right up your back

and give it one long hard twist!

But, No, I can't be violent

And this, it is my plight.

I know I can't be violent

'cos I know it isn't right.

You know I can't be violent

I am too mild and meek.

I am the kind of person

who turns the other cheek.

I am the kind of person

who walks the extra mile

AND all of this, I tell you,

wearing a happy smile!

NO, I won't be violent

I know it's not the way.

Please, please just excuse me...

I'm having a truly bad day!
