Something I didn't expect
was to start out with a skateboard
impressed with the tricks
something i really adored

But then you, in your beauty
showed me your longboard
i was so impressed
by the flow i started to lean toward

I thought it was too modest
all ride and no tricks
i wasnt as simple-minded
it was easy for you to get your kicks

I looked into why longboards are popular
and realized how sick
you looked while you were
ripping that wooden deck

Falling in love isnt easy
i realized as skating was a sport
and boarding was a pasttime
also used for transport

The adventure of a lifetime
comes from the cruise
and i just remembered that
accelerating is my favorite thing to do

You opened my eyes
as bicycles are too big to ride
and cars are boring
when i said i liked skateboards...
