I had to find the end, but where was it? Where could the exit be? I had no idea. I just have to keep running from whatever is chasing me from behind. I try to look behind me, but I find that I can't. It's like I am stuck looking forward and going forward. It seems to be my only option.

I jumped over the small brick wall in my way. Then, there was a small crack in the ground. I didn't want to find what was at the bottom of it, so I jumped over it. I jumped and hit my head against a yellow box by accident. I felt a little bit of pain from it, but not much. I didnt have achoice.
A weird thing popped out of it. It was a red mushroom. Not just any mushroom, but a mushrrom that looked like it had eyes. I didn't like the look of it. Before I could reject or deny it, my body suddenly absorbed it.

That's when I grew several inches bigger. I felt some much taller, even though I didnt know my height before. I kept running. I always kept running. I jumped on an angry brown mushroom thing with legs. I was propelled several feet into the air.

It felt nice to get some air. It felt almost relaxing in this stressful situation.  The moment was short, and I was pushed back into the world of running. I was stuck running forever over the same obstacles. A brick wall here. A deep dark raving here. A few times there was green pipes sticking out of the ground.

I didn't really know how to use them. I didn't really care either. I had heard some were used as pathways to worlds underneath, but I hadn't learned about them yet. I simply ignored them, and hurdled over them.

I could feel I was starting to get tired. Especially trying to no hit these turtle guys or brown mushroom people. I kept hitting my head against those stupid yellow boxes. Not much would come out except the same mushroom or some coins.

That's when I saw it. It was coming to the end. I could feel that it was. I didn't have to run anymore. I kept running, but this time there was hope as a fuel, not fear. I reached the last green pipe, pushed myself off, and grabbed the pole. I slid down it, and took the black flag down. I replaced it with my own.

I jumped off the little platform the flagpole was on, and landed on the grass. That's when I looked up and saw a castle. Well, not a very big one. But it was average and made out of the same red bricks everything else seemed to be made of.

That's when I knew there was more than just this. There was a lot more to this than my original thought. But then, I was stuck. I couldn't move.

"Dinner!" My mom yelled. I jumped at the sound of her voice.

"Coming!" I responded. I saved my game of Mario, and ran downstairs. I had just gotten it, and couldn't wait to play more.

It's not the best but I had the idea to write it down.
