Reason why I picked the characters to match with the characters from Encanto.

Misty and Brock as Pepa and Félix  would be a decent young couple and I see them not talking about a person they would like to talk about.

Janine as Dolores since being a ninja with hard training of her senses she would hear secrets from anyone.

Will as Camilo since both have a mischief personality.

Townspeople would be Whitney, Chuck and Blaine due to the lines of the song and I can picture it in my head for it.

Erika as Isabella because both are well connected with flowers.

(I saw the movie and spoiler alert coming rn. Isabella was supposed to marry Mariano because Isabella was the golden child and deserved a perfect man to be with her so Mariano proposed to Isabella. Dolores loved Mariano so finding out that he was going to marry his cousin crushed her but she didn't choose to ruin her cousin's proposal. It was then revealed that Isabella didn't want to marry Mariano and being the perfect child for her grandma's sake and wanted to be herself. In the near end of the movie Mariano had a lot of love in his heart so Maribel introduces him to Dolores and Dolores got the person she loved.)

So overall in this version of pokemon it's Erika and Falkner being together and how Janine didn't like it one bit but chose to except it. So Jasmine helped Erika break free from being perfect despite not going to be wedded to Falkner and Janine to get with her long time crush as Falkner finally notices her.

Karen as Abeula Alma. Idk since Karen would strike as the type of person you don't want to disappoint.
