Spark/Pikachu's POV

It was cold!

Too cold.

But I love the NL region so much: this place has really good food, A very cool culture, like for example: they dress up in weird clothing and they put a ghost mask on every Christmas which sounds fun, but too bad is now illegal! But the best part about my trip to the NL region is that we reunited with our old buddy, Ace!!! But he wasn't the same as before.

Ever since his injury, Ace was acting pretty strange. I'm not saying he's psycho or gone mad but do you have a more of a......you know.......temper. Like for example, he always snaps at Zitz for saying that his prosthetic leg is cool, which is true and he cusses a bit more then usual. I know he used the word "hell" and "damn" A lot but now he says even more bad words like the B-word and the F-word, etc.

Last night was a really rough night for everyone, especially for Ace. He had a terrible nightmare about me, Ash and the rest of the team going against him for no reason and speak of the devil, everyone, including me and Ash (kinda), had the same dream as well, but instead we couldn't control our own body and we watch ourselves kill Ace with our own hands!!!

Anyways, I woke up the next morning, finding myself still snuggled with all of my teammates. Shade (Noivern), Hawkeye (Hawlucha), Ace and Ash we're still asleep and Flame (Talonflame) was watching "Hell's Kitchen" with Dusk (Lycanroc) and I could see Gabriel (Goodra) having a tackling competition with Charlie (Alain's Charizard).

My shoulder was still bugging me after the battle with the Americans but I was still concerned about everyone's injuries, like Shade sprained his ankle after getting bitten by a Houndoom, Hawk and Flame was left with only scratches, Gabe had tons of scars from the pack of Houndoom (he kind of remind me of the T-Rex from Jurassic Park/World), Ash still has a bit of a concussion after all the pain he went through after feeling a lot of Ace's pain and after that Jerk Shiny Greninja name Shadow kicked him in the face and Ace (of course) was still in a bit of pain from his gunshot wound and he passes out from time to time due to the pain (so I think Ace got the worst of it).

Anyways, I woke The other four up. Shade and Hawk woke up pretty easily but Ash and Ace were a bit more harder due to how bad their conditions were. As Ash begins to open his eyes, I tried to nuzzle Ace awake but he still stayed asleep with his head resting on Ash's chest.

Ash: *wakes and yawns* good morning, everyone!

Spade: Noi! (Morning Ash!)

Hawkeye: Hawlucha (good morning!)

Spark: Pika Pika! (say at first I thought we'll never get a "good morning" from you because, not to be rude, you're not a morning person!)

Ash: *giggles* I think you got the wrong man! XD

Spark: Pikachu? (what do you mean? I thought you're always the one oversleeping every single day!)

Ash: look even though I always fall on my head every single time someone scares the crap out of me when I'm sleeping doesn't mean I'm not a morning person!

Spark: Pika Pika (if you say so)

Ace: *wakes slightly*

Ash: *notices Ace waking up* morning sleepyhead! 😜

Ace: *yawns* Grenin (morning)

Spark: Pika Pi! (now that everyone's awake, what should we do today? Train? Go to Robin's and get a coffee? Anyone?)

Everyone shrugged. Ash laid back down and yawns.

Ash: you know what? I feel like having a laid-back day today.

Ace: Ninja (Me too)

Hawkeye: cha cha! (me also!)

Spade: Noi! Noi! (Are you kidding? I'm wide awake! Is there a training practice around?)

Spark: Pika Pika. (Just outside)

Without hesitation, Shade flew out the window and uses dragon claw at Gabriel and Charlie. We could all hear them both scream as Shade struck them.

Gabriel and Charlie: OW!!!!!! SHADE!!!!!!!!!!!

We all stare dumbfounded at the site. Hawkeye rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Hawkeye: *rolls eyes* Hawalucha (i'm gonna to watch "Hell's Kitchen")

Before I knew it, Hawk was out of the room. I smiled as I start to turn to Ace and Ash.

Spark: Pikachu Pika Pi—? (so I guess it's just you guys and me, rig—?)

Ash and Ace: *sleeps* 😴😴

I smile at both of them as I tuck them in. Of course: A concussion and a healing gunshot wound + A strong bond between Trainer and Pokémon = laziness.....and cuddles. Lol.

As I left the room and quietly close the door behind me, I could hear Dusk, Flame and Hawkeye laughing in the other room. I rolled my eyes in a "they are some stupid" moment as I went downstairs.

When I got downstairs, I saw the Albino Midnight Lycanroc, Frostbite, sleeping on Kalista's lap as she watches something called "The Masked Singer" on TV And speaking of Frostbite, he just woke up from his coma after the Battle with the Americans and we have a rocky relationship (just like Ace and Dusk), but I eventually got used to his annoying jokes.

I sat with Zitz and stole some of his popcorn. Zitz noticed me but he didn't really mind me stealing his popcorn. (Dang! He's like a Cuter and Sweeter version of Ace. XD)

Zitz: hey Sparky!

Spark: hey Z!

Zitz: how is your team feeling?

Spark: oh they're all OK. Ace and Ash are resting but other than that they're doing fine. Like seriously, Shade is having a battle with Gabriel and Charlie!!!

Zitz: *giggles* oh I dies at him!

Spark: yeah! me too!

As we both laugh, there was a knock on the door. Me and Zitz answered it and I stare in shock at a few faces that I never saw in six years......

Ash's POV

I didn't know why I feel asleep again but I was so exhausted and Greninja had his head resting on my chest......and it was really comfortable.

Speaking of Greninja, I'm really worried about him. Not because of his gunshot wound, it's because of his nightmares. I'm not saying that because after a nightmare he "cries like a Froakie" (that was actually HIS words, not mine) but last time he had a nightmare about the battle with the Americans and that came true. What if me and my Pokémon go against him later down the road. What if we hurt him due to anger. What if we kill him!

Anyways, when I started to open my eyes, The world around me was blurry but I saw a weird blob in front of me. As my site begins to straighten up the blob turns into figure that turns into........ oh boy.

Zitz: GRENINJA!!!! (GOOD MORNING!!!!)

Ash: WAHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I suddenly shut up and bumped my head on top of the roof. I place my hands on top of my head as Zitz just stares at me, completely not understanding what's going on.

Ash: OW! You son of a........DUDE! WHAT THE BLOODY HECK?!?!

Zitz: Greninja! Gren! Gren! (Sorry! that's a very bad habit that I got!)

I looked at Greninja, who was still asleep with his tongue/scarf in his mouth so he won't wet the bed with his saliva (very smart). I then looked at Zitz who also had his tongue/scarf in his mouth.

Ash: dude why do You have your tongue in your mouth?

Zitz: because I don't like it around my neck!

Ace: *wakes* .........ugh........then get used to it! 😑💢

Ash: 💢 (Greninja! Stop)

Zitz: i'm trying man! But It just bugs me so much!

Ace: then you may choke on it!

Zitz: say when you're the one saying that I might choke on it, why do you have your tongue in your mouth.

When Zitz said that, I could see Greninja's muzzle start the crinkle as he began an angry remark.

Ace: so I won't wet my bed, You idiot!

My eyes widen when he said that, Greninja had never called one of his friends an idiot before. Zitz just good there his face was filled with shock and I could see his eyes starting to tear up.

Greninja's angry blue eyed gaze immediately softened when he saw Zitz start to tear up. He lowers his head in regent.

Ace: I'm sorry, Zitz.

Zitz: it's ok, Ace. Really.

Ace: I mean it, Z! I'm sorry! I shouldn't have snapped at you like that.

Zitz: and I meant it as well! It's ok! A lot of Pokémon called me an idiot before.

Ace: so you're used to it? I don't mean that so I could call you an idiot again but—

Zitz: uhhhh hell yeah! They call me that I-word since I was a Froakie. So yeah, i'm used to it.

Ace: ok......

Ash: so.......you two cool?

The two greninja nod as my Greninja pushes Zitz playfully. Zitz did the same. Greninja flinches a bit but pulls Zitz in the bed with us and gave him a knuckle-in-the-head. I just giggled at the two large ninja frogs as they played with each other and laughed.

Suddenly, Kalista came running in the room and slams the door behind her.

Ash: hey Kalista! What's up?

Kalista: oh nothing! It's just—

Then The door literally flies open as A small blonde hair girl comes running into the room........and gets down on one knee.

Ace: (oh no)

The Girl: WILL YOU PLEASE TAKE CARE OF MY BROTHER?!?!

Her Denenne: DENENNE!!!!!! (PLEASE!!!!!)

Ace: 😑💧 *groans in embarrassment* (I hate when she does that)

Zitz: SAY WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!

Greninja than glares at Zitz when he said that.

Zitz: WHAT!?!?

Then A teenage boy with golden blonde hair and sky blue eyes appears, his face was red and his glasses were steamed up in embarrassment.

The Boy: BONNIE!!!!! I TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES—

Bonnie: Well, you're soon going to college, Clemont! So you need someone to take care of you and all that!

While Bonnie and Clemont argue, Kalista's Charizard, FireHeart, comes into the room.

FireHeart: Charizard?!?! (what the san hell is going on here?!?!)

Ace: *groans in embarrassment*

Zitz: GRENINJA!!! (well we just learned that Ace and Ash know these two!)

I could see Greninja facepalming in embarrassment when Zitz and FireHeart talked. I looked back at Clemont and Bonnie who were still arguing and tried to ease the problem by saying something.

Ash: Congratulations on the college, Clemont! I'm soon going to college in a week!

Then somehow, I could feel Greninja flinch in shock when I said that. I must've said it too loud for him to hear.

I did not tell my Pokémon that I was going to college soon, especially to Greninja because I promised him not to leave him. But the reason why I didn't tell my Pokémon is because there was no Pokémon allowed in college because.....you know......things have changed now.

Me and Greninja looked at each other once but he turned back to Zitz and FireHeart and let out a long sad sigh.

???: that's great, Ash!

I turned around and saw a brown haired girl with sky blue eyes at the entrance of the room. I remembered her immediately.

Serena. A girl I never saw in 6 years.

I suddenly felt Greninja flinch again when he saw Serena. To be honest I think he was more shocked to see her than me.

Ace: Gren? (Serena?)

He trys to get out of bed but due to his gunshot wound, he flinches in pain and almost collapses in bed again.

Serena then stairs at Greninja, she seemed worried about his condition yet surprised to see him. She then turns to me again with the same expression on her face.

Serena: I-Is that......G-Greninja? Is he OK?

I just cleared my throat as I opened my mouth to explain about how Greninja took a bullet to save his life from a crazy Midnight Lycanroc. But when I was to finish, Greninja shoves me to the side as he tries to "talk" to Serena.

Ace: Gren! Greninja! (I'm feeling much better now, Serena! Say, where is Braxin?)

Serena just looked at me confused.

Ash: he said that he's feeling a lot more better now and he is wondering where Braxin is to.

Serena: well just let him know that she's not really a Braxin anymore.

Serena throws a poke-ball in on the ground and out pops out a Delphox......

Ace's POV

I can't believe it's her. Braxin. The one I fell in love with 6 years ago.........way before Raven. We fell in love with each other ever since I cleaned her tail when we were younger. I still love Raven and all, but.....I don't know what to say to Raven about Braxin and Braxin about Raven. *Sigh* I just don't know what to say.

Before I knew it, Braxin (or Delphox) then looks at me as her bright maleficent green eyes and my bright sky/ocean blue eyes finally met after six years. I could see her eyes starting to fill up with tears as she begins to smile in a happy way. When I was a Frogadier, I thought that she was the most beautiful thing in the world but right now, she was more beautiful than before. Of course Raven is also beautiful, but just to be honest that Delphox is like a rare rose in the garden of weeds.

Ace: B-Braxin?

Delphox: G-Greninja?

We stare at each other for a little while longer before I start to feel heavy tears rolling down my cheeks. Before I knew it, I felt Delphox wrap her arms around me as tears run down her cheeks as well. I hugged her back, ignoring the pain from my gunshot wound all together.

Delphox: *cries* I can't believe it's you!

Ace: I can't believe it either! *sniffs* I had been a very long time!

Delphox: more like TOO long.

We both giggled at her remark as we both kept hugging each other. But then (speak of the devil) I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my side, The same sharp pain I felt when I woke up after I passed out in the middle of nowhere on the way to Sycamore's.

Even though I tried not to, I flinched really bad in pain. I thought the pain was pretty much gone now but it's like it came back to it's original painful state like how my crippled leg came back to its original painful state after I was shot.

Delphox loosen her grip as I collapsed in bed, semiconscious.

Delphox: OMG!!! I'M SO SORRY!!!! ARE YOU OK?!?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!

By the way she said it, I knew she had already spotted the bandage over my gunshot wound.

As I start to come to my senses, I sat up and sighed.

Ace: oh it's nothing. It's just that stupid gunshot wound I just—

Delphox: GUNSHOT WOUND?!?!

Ace: but I'm getting better! Don't worry!

Delphox: thank Zygarde!

Ace: more like "thank Squishy" XD

Me and Delphox laugh it out until we hear a familiar female voice.

???: uhhhh, Ace? Who is this?

We both turn around to see Raven at the door looking at Delphox with a bit of daggers in her eyes.

Ace: oh....hey Raven. Babe. This is Braxin......or Delphox......or—

Delphox: Flare.

Raven and Ace: Flare?

Delphox: Call me Flare.

Raven: that's a pretty name.

Ace: It is! (a beautiful name for a beauty like you)

We all look at everyone in the room.

Ace: can me, Raven and Flare have a moment......alone?

Ash: sure.

When everyone left the room, I took a deep breath as I open my mouth to speak.

Ace: Flare......I like to say........I love you! But Raven is now my girlfriend and you can hate all you like and—

Flare: how would I hate you, Greninja? It's been 6 years since we last saw each other. I knew you have moved on since I got here.

Ace: so.....you are not mad?

Flare: of course not! You're my friend and I'll support you all the way!

Well......that's is not what I was expecting. But good thing that Flare was not mad. But what about Raven, is she mad?

Ace: Raven. Babe. I—

When I was about to finish, Raven pulled me close and kissed me in the lips. I could see Flare snickering at us but me and Raven didn't complain.

Raven: I'm not mad either. I'm just happy you told me the truth.

Flare: me too. Besides, you chose a pretty good girl, Greninja.

Ace: thanks girls and please Flare, call me Ace.

Flare: Ace. What a cool name.

Ace: t-thanks.

As we talked, I felt a bit more open towards them, but there is something that bothers me but I can't blurt it out to others: Ash is going to college in a week.

He promised me! He [Greninja] promised me not to leave me! I just had a nightmare about Ash and my team killing me for no reason and this is what it means? Ash breaks his promise to me and leaves for college? I don't know what happens but when I get out of this "injured from a gunshot" state, I'm gonna try to spend as much time left with Ash...........before we depart...........again.
